When I went over the list with John, he looked at one particular property and said, “Boys I really feel like the church should be located here, I think this is the site for us.” Unfortunately, it was a really bad side because you have rolling hills; there weren't any utilities to it; the street improvement cost things at the city would require us to do; and this is after we bought the land, before we can build the building; we have to do that a million and a half worth of site work bringing the street all the way up, bringing utilities out and water sewer gas, everything was horribly expensive.
But John was just convinced that he felt in his spirit that this is the property that God lead him to; so we put that at the top of the list we end up buying the property knowing full well that it's going to cost a lot of money to develop Well here's what God knew that we did not. Within about six months target bought the property just next to us a forty acre site and it wasn't a target store, it was a target distribution center and it was a little bit further away from the city so it was on the outskirts side of our property not between us and the city but actually on the other side.
