True. Actually in the late 70's and early 80's his Peter Frampton Comes Alive was the best selling live album . But when he played the Billy Shears role in the movie Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band, his career has spiralled downward.
And I am still fortunate enough to owned the famous,legendary and known " Frampton Comes Alive " and other Peter Frampton recorded albums on Compact Discs or C.D. formats that I kept for more than 30 years

In 1971 I drove alone from Philly to LA and back. I listened to George Benson and Peter Frampton, over and over, the entire way. This song’s live concert version is burned into my memory. Brilliant.
Such a gifted artist. I saw him performing in Belo Horizonte, Brazil in late 1982. I was only 12 and asked dad to drive me there. That was my very first presence in a concert.
Wish someone would have shown me “The Way” a long time ago. I’m 55 and just now understanding my way. If I would have had someone show me hands on at early age , I could have been so much more.
Nobody showed me the way. When I got married and had children my wife and I both made sure to show my children the right way. They are now in their mid-30s married successful with their own homes and their own families not dependent on anyone else. I've heard other people tell me stories about children that are still dependent on their parents I could not imagine that.
It's nice seeing him doing so well, like no time had ever passed! He's a Taurus, April 22nd, 1950. I'm glad, and was blessed to see him joining singing with the Doobie Brothers some years back.

I remember him back in the 60's and when he later made ''Show me the way'' I saw his cheeky grin and I knew it was the grin of someone who loved his life and loved his musical ability. That grin hasn't changed a millimetre from 1975 and afterwards. It's the soul of the man being brought to life and enjoying every second of what is happening all around him. You are still the man Peter. Stick around for another couple of decades mate and long life to you and yours. And that is one hell of a great backing band you have here. Good comment Ellen. I loved the 60s better than any other time but the 70s were almost as brilliant too. Remember Humble Pie? They were so good. Rare to see anyone enjoy themselves as much as Peter does. And he can play guitar as well as sing. A national treasure Ellen.
