True. Actually in the late 70's and early 80's his Peter Frampton Comes Alive was the best selling live album . But when he played the Billy Shears role in the movie Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band, his career has spiralled downward.

In 1971 I drove alone from Philly to LA and back. I listened to George Benson and Peter Frampton, over and over, the entire way. This song’s live concert version is burned into my memory. Brilliant.

I remember in the mid 70’s, this guy moved in next door and he would blast this every day on his home made speakers. He was just out of the army bought a Plymouth Duster and it was fast. My friend and thought he was the coolest cat in town.
Best believe one of the greatest guitarist of all time's he rocked that guitar, I hail Frampton he is awesome.

Il y a deux choses qui manquent aux guitaristes, soit ils peuvent jouer de la guitare mais ne peuvent pas chanter, soit ils peuvent chanter de manière incroyable mais ne peuvent pas jouer de la guitare. Frampton, il peut chanter aussi bien qu’il joue de la guitare et c’est ce qui fait de lui un grand artiste !
Yo he sido suertudo, pero sobre todo bendecido, tengo 58 años me tocó escuchar la Mejor Música de Todos los Tiempos: 60, 70, 80, 90, y la seguiré escuchando mientras Dios me lo Permita, El Arte, Ingenio, Sentimiento, interpretación y Sensibilidad con la que fueron hechas todas estas canciones es genial, soy rockero de corazón y toda esta música me transporta a los años vivídos con una Nostalgia Increíble, como anteriormente alguien puso, si pudiera regresar en el tiempo, con gusto lo haría!!!

Peter Frampton was, is, and ALWAYS will be a superstar.
I remember him back in the 60's and when he later made ''Show me the way'' I saw his cheeky grin and I knew it was the grin of someone who loved his life and loved his musical ability.
That grin hasn't changed a millimetre from 1975 and afterwards. It's the soul of the man being brought to life and enjoying every second of what is happening all around him.
You are still the man Peter. Stick around for another couple of decades mate and long life to you and yours.
And that is one hell of a great backing band you have here.
Thanks for all the many moments of happiness your music has given me.

These days I saw a photo of Peter Frampton at the 1978 Brazilian carnival lighting a cigarette behind Ney Matogrosso, he could well come and play in Brazil.

Nobody showed me the way. When I got married and had children my wife and I both made sure to show my children the right way. They are now in their mid-30s married successful with their own homes and their own families not dependent on anyone else. I've heard other people tell me stories about children that are still dependent on their parents I could not imagine that.

Tomo café numa caneca com a foto dele, "durmo" com ele todas as noites, pq tenho diversas fronhas com a foto dele estampada, tenho todos os discos, cds, dvds... Amo de paixão!!! Ele está em mim, literalmente, pois tatuei seu nome e sua guitarra na minha perna!
