First time I've seen a Ruby model that actually LOOKS like Ruby, unlike those ugly MMD ones. A guy who saw this also recommends switching the starting camera angle to an overhead one. That low Dutch angle only serves to highlight that your track is a flat, 2-D texture with no depth.
I'm not really that well-versed either, Mirabeau. I just know a little bit about it from all the internet-based self-education I do on random topics. Any time you're using a texture on-top of 2D geometry to represent something that's 3-dimensional in reality, you want to be mindful of the fact that people with sharp eyes who have a strong-enough grasp of 3-D computer graphics may be able to spot the fact that it's a 2-D texture, and it won't look as good to them. To combat this and make your videos look better, you need to think of ways to hide the 2-D-ness with camera angles and camera motion. The zoom-in Dutch angle was ambitious, and you're to be applauded for trying it. It bites you in the butt here, however, because if we were zooming in from this angle on a real train track, the rails would be growing in our field of vision at rates proportional to how close to the camera (how far in the foreground) they were, and obscuring more and more of the gravel behind them as we zoomed in. As you can tell though, that's not happening, so it's obvious that the track is really just a texture. An overhead angle with the camera moving parallel to the track would not have had these problems. Don't feel bad, though! This is a very minor gripe. You're clearly putting a lot of effort into these videos, and it's showing!
I love how this shows how much your animation skills & your writing has grown since train rides are fun, which for the longest time was one my favourite videos on RUclips, it's really impressive. & I also love Azure's new outfit, it really is a good design in my opinion. Damn, this channel did go pretty far in a year. Having been away for a bit I have to say the voice acting was the biggest change. Lot of GModders and SFM users, even those that win Saxxys, don't even do that.
This is much better, but here's a tip: keep all characters moving in some way at all times; when another object is taking center focus, such as talking, make most characters look torwards that direction or idle in some way rather than freezing in place.
