The psychological aspect of this is interesting. A happy, content man with hopes dreams, suddenly has the horrifying realization that his whole life, his whole world, his friends and loved ones, are all fake thrust upon him. As he desperately tries to reconcile with this realization he becomes disconnected from his emotions, pushing away everyone he once cared about. He finds no escape from the torture of this knowledge, no way out of his twisted world, and eventually stops caring. Nothing matters, nothing is real. He even goes so far as to harm the person he once loved in a desperate attempt to feel something, to make anyone feel anything. But even that is fruitless. The world he used to love now becomes the thing he despises most, and when he's given the opportunity to end his suffering and end the false world in which he is forced to live, he takes that chance. This is peak fiction right here.
Well... Rooster Teeth did butcher RWBY. I think him hating Ruby Rose is more akin to his frustration towards the people who ruined something that could have been pretty cool. Although, I would say that, what you've stated, is apart of the bigger picture. So still kudos.
If I lived in a post 2000’s sfm shitpost world and had to put up with fake Sean Connery’s bullshit day in and day out for god knows how long I’d want to delete system 32 too
Now I would like to make a prediction, that this whole thing is just one big metaphor for switching from SFM to blender. For one all the glitches that Azure sees are common glitches in SFM(I think). But mostly there's the USB stick containing all the assets related to the channel, assets which could be carried over into blender. Azure seeing all the glitches and becoming depressed could represent Mira becoming frustrated by SFM's jank and possibly even wanting to quit. And by somehow switching all the files over to blender, Azure would escape the glitches and learn to enjoy life again, just like Mira was able to escape the glitches and enjoy animation again. I'm not caught up on all the channel lore, so there might be even more going on here, but I think that the basic premise is solid

"This, I like this." Its a good transition and justifies Azure's in-universe hate for Ruby. We all know the out of universe reason, but it always bugged me about the mood whiplash that was the train redux to rwby goes missing 1 and 2. Being shown that his world is not only fake, but a shoddy parody one that doesn't take itself seriously would be a shock to the system. And him spiraling into nihilism is shown to be depressing, especially since no one can really relate to him anymore in any meaningful way. Likewise, I love that Azure slowly starts to groan and get annoyed with the sheer insanity going on around him, and how its never addressed or brought up. Like the plane crash which hardly gets a mention outside of a memey one-liner. definitely looking forward to part 2.
@@Rogerv1032 out of universe, Rwby (the show) nosedived in writing after the 3rd volume. Not to say its writting was necessarily good before that point, but it always held a level of passion and potential that many saw in its early production. Nowadays the show is written really poorly and wrote itself into a corner with regards to its main villain. Ruby herself became a block of wood with little agency in her own show.
So basically he hates Ruby because she herself is also a parody and isn't someone Azure can relate to or even call a real friend I do wonder what does it mean about Shrek tho

I love the psychological advancement in Azures behavior. At first he was all happy and smiling but after realising that his whole reality was a lie he starts to have nihilistic thoughts, and it got so bad he'd rather destroy his entire reality just so he wake make from his nightmare
Going back to that sequence between 3:40-3:45, it really does make me excited that Shizuka is shown at the end, meaning we might get to see how Azure came across her in the first place and how they basically became THE duo of this channel.
9:30 even with this video clearly having a lot of memes and comedy, this shot feels unbelievably lonely to an unsettling degree. especially the subtlety of how he curls up more. 10/10 im not even finished watching
You know, this is a really interesting direction to take a character that suddenly REALISES they're some guy's overpowered OC, while still playing the world they inhabit and the other characters in that world *completely* straight. And, of course, the comedy and animation are top-tier. Brilliant!
18:35-19:10 I just love this entire scene. Azure is trying to think of a way he can destroy an indestructible object, and then the camera pans forward to show a guy in the weirdest and least safe gas mask conceivable for a person driving a Taxi who tells him about "The Clan of the Ancient Dragon Slayers of the Hidden East" which is so over the top and ludicrously named which is followed up by the other guy in the front seat talking about the great KMart deals lately. Azure, absolutely lost, asks them to elaborate and they do as the driver looks over his shoulder to look at Azure as he drives off a cliff, the car tumbles and flips and just goes all over the place with no audio for what should be crunching steel and breaking rock as the car inexplicably takes no damage from this fall and they continue their conversation and their drive without even paying attention to that fact. It's amazing and I love it and it's just great comedy. Also both of them are somehow driving.

Oh my god I just realized that the plot of this whole thing is gonna be taking the USB drive with all the assets into blender so that the glitches can finally end and Azure can be happy. That's the stupidest fucking idea I've ever heard in all the best ways, can't wait for part two. Also it would be a great twist if at the end blender crashes.

I've never been so invested in the lore of a channel in years. It's rather impressive how you managed to create legitimately serious scenes and properly implement them with your classic style of comedy. Also the camera work was fantastic and some of those scenes were really creepy. Bravo, Mira. Through thick and thin, I'll be sticking around.
Wait a minute I just realized. Did scrungo just give Jeanne and Doomguy the same cursed awareness that Azure had? They went what Azure did near the beginning of the video? damn I feel bad seeing Jeanne's expression if that's the case. And that's great because the animation of Jeanne's face made me feel something just from that alone. a sign of good use of animation.
Also if the same effects applied where it's like a burnt film roll are used it means that we can add ruby on this roster of people if her coma dream is anything to go off of making 4 theoretical characters aside from azure (and shuzika if those flashes imply she isn't bound by the same rules of the world), that are aware of their reality and would deal with it in different ways like a possible stage of denial for ruby if her in current times shows.(1.scrungo 2.jeane 3.doomguy 4.ruby) also let's al silently agree that runaway is Azure's theme.)
Watching you go from an enjoyable crack-ship animator to an actual SFM genius was a very surreal trip over the 6 years. I've always loved your content and seeing it go from good to better is an amazing thing. You yourself are an amazing creator Mira, and I look forward to whatever else you produce in the future. I keep coming back to this video just to watch the scene that starts at around 9:40 . It's such a serious moment in this otherwise wild and funny ride and I love every second of it. When she asks Azure if he feels alright, I feel that. As someone who's been dealing with depression for years, it made me happy somehow that Azure at least has someone who realizes and asks him about it. The scene comforts me, and I thank you for that, and for your work. I can't wait to see the sequel :)
Rewatched to see the first five minutes I missed while watching the premier. Holy shit, Mirabeau. Not only have you become my favorite animator, but you've shown yourself to be a fantastic storyteller as well. Tying together all of your previous videos into a complex narrative while retaining your channel's unique identity is no small task. Now I see why you streamed yourself rewatching your old videos. It was to prepare us for your magnum opus! In this masterpiece of a video, a few scenes stuck out. I won't go into an in-depth analysis, but good God, the number of references (both of your work and others) and memes stuffed into the New Vegas scene (when Azure gets shot) is incredible. Those flashing images don't seem like they're random, either. I need to rewatch that scene more closely later, but I get a sense that they are hinting at both the themes tying this video together and the events that will come in the next part (especially the Shizuka image and the relationship between the eclipse towards the end of the scene and the light we find towards the end of the video). Even though I've only been watching you for 2-3 years now, it's been a pleasure to see how much you've grown after I rewatched your old videos, and I don't just mean your style. The seriousness of some scenes mixed with just something batshit crazy to be happening in the background had me in TEARS! Like the whole taxi sequence almost killed me. Thanks for all your work!
There's a certain kind of "leap" that videos like this take. This video is far longer and far more involved that the usual animations Mirabeau puts out. It's attempting to blend Mirabeau's usual shitposting with a more clear and structured story, as well as one that has more serious scenes. And to take a leap like that requires an incredible amount of effort and courage. You never know if your audience will react well to shifts in style, tone, or format. And that's why I'm overjoyed to say that I think this video nailed it. The video is so dense, so many background gags and quick one-off jokes that the shitposting is constantly a presence, but is always taking a backseat whenever Azure's problems are in the same room, so the tone doesn't feel inconsistent. And Azure himself is such an interesting character. His 180 demeanor shift at realizing everything he's in is fake is not only very believable, but is surprisingly relatable despite it being literally impossible to happen IRL (For me, it reminds me of someone who feels wholly unfulfilled with the work they were once so passionate about). And yet he's not wholly emotionless edgelord like most OCs tend to be. He is still very capable of having moments of blatant emotion, like looking around in confusion for the narrator on the plane, or his reaction to seeing Shrek at the end. All in all, this video had me glued to my screen for the entire duration and I can't wait to see what's coming in part 2.
One thing I'd like to commend you on in particular is how you're able to so well blend memes and humor into otherwise serious scenes. You could even say this is part of the narrative, for a much as Azure wants to take this all seriously, his wacky world inside SFM can never reflect that. It's like trying to have a confrontation with someone who just doesn't taken anything seriously, but scaled up to his entire world. Which would only make his predicament even more infuriating.
How can you betray me like this… Create characters that I love through short meme videos, then add so much characterization in twenty short minutes that i cant go back and see those old memes the same again, and you’ve managed to add more depth to these characters, then a billion dollar studio did while making the eternals?
God this filled me with nostalgia. I’ve been a subscriber for years at this point and it’s so cool seeing all these old callbacks and I can’t wait to see what you do next Mira. It’s gonna be great
This is a masterpiece in SO MANY FUCKING WAYS. The memes, the references, the animations, the movements, the camera techniques, the comedic timing, expressions, themes, everything. You definitely have became an animator i aspire to become like.
Now this is a masterpiece that not many will even begin to appreciate. Not only does it blend a deep and immersive story, it also manages to convey it through comedy that you'll never feel sad or depressed with the story because of how it's told or through what's happening around you. Alright. I stumbled upon this channel approximately 6 hours ago and i have since watched (almost) all the videos from this channel. The first video that got recommended to me was the Shizuka doing the my little pogchamp meme. At first, i was baffled by the animation and the movements of characters. The way he animated hand signs really blew my mind. I watched some more videos and got more and more amazed and i knee, I found a goldmine. The humor was top tier as was the animation. As i was watching videos, i saw this video, Azure:Sleepwalker. Now i watched this for a few minutes and realized it was lore based. As i only discovered this recently i didn't know anything about the lore. So i watched every single video before this one. It was like going back in time. The sfm's, old memes, it was like a nostalgia trip. It was also interesting to see how Mirabeau's animation was back in the day and how much he improved from there. Most of his early videos were shitposts and memes with a few recurring characters but it didn't make them less interesting. There wasn't any plot particularly but their were character arcs and some plot related videos. Now let's talk about the characters and OH BOY there are a lot of characters in the MCU(Mirabeau Cinematic Universe). So how about we start with our MC, Azure and his relationship with Ruby. These two characters have been in the MCU since the first video. Their relationship was really wholesome and they were basically a couple. They lived together and everything seemed good. And as we see in this video that something made Azure's mental health deteriorate and made him depressed you can say. He became distant from everyone and became monotone instead of his cheery usual self. Also he shot his arm off for some reason??. And i guess the day he finally snapped came, the day Ruby got kidnapped by Freddie Freaker. When he eventually did find them, instead shooting Freddie Freaker, he shot Ruby instead. He also threw Ruby out the hospital window(lol?) I guess he just hated her that much. Now I don't really no why he did that and how did he got depressed in the first place maybe we'll get an answer when part 2 of Sleepwalker drops but till then it's unclear. Azure was at his darkest phase at this time. He was also hallucinating where he saw his past selves(idk if that video's canon tho). There was a hole in his heart which he never thought would heal. But like an angel came Shizuka in his life, a mute girl. They both Eventually get together(it was never shown in a video i think). Life's good, Azure has recovered from his depression, but not completely. He's still not the same as he once was, but better than the dark phase. He might have forgotten about his past, but his past did not. Looks like his past has caught up to him, Ruby is back from the dead to get her Azure back. At first Azure didn't recognize her or maybe he did and was in a denial but he certainly didn't want to ruin his current relationship with Shizuka to go back to Ruby. Naturally, Ruby hated Shizuka as in her eyes she "stole" him from her and multiple times harassed her. Well, Shizuka wasn't a softie too when it came to defending her relationship, and stood her ground infront of Ruby(And roasted her ass lol). Azure also clearly made sure that he and Ruby were over and she was nothing but his past. He also hates Ruby with a passion(tbh honest pretty much everyone in mcu bullies her at this point). And that's where things currently stand for them(at the moment of this video). Now let's get to the side characters. Let's talk about my favorite characters: Jean De Arc and Doomguy. Now as a side note i haven't watched the Fate series nor RWBY so i don't know any of theses characters and I solely like them on their personality and how they were presented by Mirabeau. So Jean made her first appearance in the video where Artoria and Lucina fought against MinecraftMasterDude666(this might not be true, i am writing this solely on my memory). She and doomguy made their appearance together singing a song for jesus and when they visited Lucina to celebrate Christmas early. Then the grinch comes to ruin their Christmas and to take his revenge from a previous video where he tried to do the same thing and masterchief threw him in jail. But Doomguy is not Masterchief and does things to grinch that were too graphic to be even shown. There are so many more characters that if i write about them this comment would be even longer than it is already like Sean Connery, Morgan Freeman, Goblin Slayer, Pepsiman and many more characters from the Fate, Gundam, Rwby even Metal Gear Rising Revengence, Team fortress 2, Half life 2 and many more. Finding this channel has been an amazing experience and i will be subscriber years to come. I love the creativity and humor, the animation, everything. I love your work Mirabeau and i will support you forever. I don't think anyone will read this far. I bet some will comment "I ain't reading allat" Edit:Just realized how long this comment is lol

There have been many days where I’ve been having rough times, and then bam I see one of your videos pop in my feed and start feelin better as I watch it. Hell today I was feelin terrible, and this brought me back to reality and allowed me to calm down. Lots of love your way Mira, keep doing what you do best!
Its funny to me, I've always been recommended and seen your videos over the past 3-4 years now, not all of them but some of them every so often. Just recently I started to watch from current day backwards to seeing the early days of Azure. Just yesterday I saw the train video with Ruby optimistically saying their experiences are fun though and now seeing not come full circle here is just...wow. And I gotta say I love the evolution of the character/setting, and this mainly relates to my own experience with Rwby, to being bright eyed and a loving fan to someone who would spit in the current show runners faces if given the opportunity. To despise the association of past history and wasted effort while instead focusing on newer, non shit things. Now not gonna say thats how you feel since most of the Ruby hate is played up for laughs I assume but I still feel there's something there. Azure was made for Ruby and Ruby to some degree was made for him, now Azures replaced her, moved on and seemingly forgotten about Ruby, even trying to kill her off the script but she still keeps trying to come back to him, unaware of the reasons she doesn't want to be associated with any more. Hell its pretty Meta given how almost all the og Rwby tubers have dropped the series given recent years or contents been waning via their fans. If I had to say anything to the character of Azure it'ed be this, Rwby might be ass now, it might not be interesting or fun. But the Ruby that was friends with Azure doesn't need to be representative of current day rwby. She can be included, cringe be damned. I'm rambling at this point but just wanted to say if nothing else that I thought this episode was beautiful, as a whole of your characters journey, from the seeming weight making content out of obligation, the struggle of maintaining a world that seems hell bent on breaking, to set backs and making what you wanted despite how it may be received. Your work is good, its got a unique passion to it.
Theres nothing that i love more than trying to weave a coherent story out of years of making meme videos ans somehow making sence and making me exited for the next episode. God, that scene of Jeanne and Doom guy made me excited! needs more Shizuka tho

This video is long worth the wait. I felt so emotionally connected to Azure like never before. I now see him as an actual character with more real emotions and this felt so scarily real despite having so many memes and funny moments.

Only half an hour? That felt like a season worth of content, and it was all glorious. Like a firework factory on fire. I could tell the team put a lot into this project and it shows. Love, blood, maybe some booze, a splash of milk, around, oh I dunno, 0.49604 pounds of softened butter and golden caster sugar, 4 large eggs, ½ lemon, zested not stirred! A teaspoon of vanilla extract, lemon curd, jam, maybe some whipped cream, (depends on your preferred choice of filling), 180°C / 356°F for about 25 - 30 mins and your done. Wait what was I saying again? Oh right, loved the animation, loved the voice acting and sound design. I thought it was all great. Also now there's cake. Horray
I love everything about this- how it takes all the previous silly goofy videos on your channel and makes it a unified universe, and having them all stage these videos is brilliant, too, and there's so much potential for drawing real life parallels with you and Azure making these videos- I love pieces of media that are very personal and have a lot of heart and soul put into them, and this clearly shows this. I may not perfectly see how you and Azure relate, but I can tell him- and likely, extension, you- are unsatisfied with making these videos in a sense. In the airplane, he (you? Someone??) mentioned how you're in college now... and I really resonate with that. I'm trying to make my own story that I started in like middle school, and as I've gotten older and in college myself, it's a lot harder to feel the same way about it as I do now. I can already tell this series is gonna be something truly special. The humor is just- amazing as well, I LOVE the taxi scene where they're driving off a cliff when the driver stops looking, and it's just perfectly normal for this universe. You have so much creativity and are so funny that I'm willing to support you every step of the way. I'm so glad I stumbled across your channel!!!!

Now I would like to make a prediction, that this whole thing is just one big metaphor for switching from SFM to blender. For one all the glitches that Azure sees are common glitches in SFM(I think). But mostly there's the USB stick containing all the assets related to the channel, assets which could be carried over into blender. Azure seeing all the glitches and becoming depressed could represent Mira becoming frustrated by SFM's jank and possibly even wanting to quit. And by somehow switching all the files over to blender, Azure would escape the glitches and learn to enjoy life again, just like Mira was able to escape the glitches and enjoy animation again. I'm not caught up on all the channel lore, so there might be even more going on here, but I think that the basic premise is solid

Its a good transition and justifies Azure's in-universe hate for Ruby. We all know the out of universe reason, but it always bugged me about the mood whiplash that was the train redux to rwby goes missing 1 and 2.
Being shown that his world is not only fake, but a shoddy parody one that doesn't take itself seriously would be a shock to the system. And him spiraling into nihilism is shown to be depressing, especially since no one can really relate to him anymore in any meaningful way. Likewise, I love that Azure slowly starts to groan and get annoyed with the sheer insanity going on around him, and how its never addressed or brought up. Like the plane crash which hardly gets a mention outside of a memey one-liner.

@@Rogerv1032 out of universe, Rwby (the show) nosedived in writing after the 3rd volume. Not to say its writting was necessarily good before that point, but it always held a level of passion and potential that many saw in its early production. Nowadays the show is written really poorly and wrote itself into a corner with regards to its main villain. Ruby herself became a block of wood with little agency in her own show.
So basically he hates Ruby because she herself is also a parody and isn't someone Azure can relate to or even call a real friend

You know, this is a really interesting direction to take a character that suddenly REALISES they're some guy's overpowered OC, while still playing the world they inhabit and the other characters in that world *completely* straight. And, of course, the comedy and animation are top-tier. Brilliant!
I liked that little heart-to-heart with Jeanne. Azure was fantastic and the post-credit scene is interesting.
18:35-19:10 I just love this entire scene. Azure is trying to think of a way he can destroy an indestructible object, and then the camera pans forward to show a guy in the weirdest and least safe gas mask conceivable for a person driving a Taxi who tells him about "The Clan of the Ancient Dragon Slayers of the Hidden East" which is so over the top and ludicrously named which is followed up by the other guy in the front seat talking about the great KMart deals lately. Azure, absolutely lost, asks them to elaborate and they do as the driver looks over his shoulder to look at Azure as he drives off a cliff, the car tumbles and flips and just goes all over the place with no audio for what should be crunching steel and breaking rock as the car inexplicably takes no damage from this fall and they continue their conversation and their drive without even paying attention to that fact. It's amazing and I love it and it's just great comedy. Also both of them are somehow driving.

Watching you go from an enjoyable crack-ship animator to an actual SFM genius was a very surreal trip over the 6 years. I've always loved your content and seeing it go from good to better is an amazing thing. You yourself are an amazing creator Mira, and I look forward to whatever else you produce in the future. I keep coming back to this video just to watch the scene that starts at around 9:40 . It's such a serious moment in this otherwise wild and funny ride and I love every second of it. When she asks Azure if he feels alright, I feel that. As someone who's been dealing with depression for years, it made me happy somehow that Azure at least has someone who realizes and asks him about it. The scene comforts me, and I thank you for that, and for your work. I can't wait to see the sequel :)
Rewatched to see the first five minutes I missed while watching the premier. Holy shit, Mirabeau. Not only have you become my favorite animator, but you've shown yourself to be a fantastic storyteller as well. Tying together all of your previous videos into a complex narrative while retaining your channel's unique identity is no small task. Now I see why you streamed yourself rewatching your old videos. It was to prepare us for your magnum opus!
In this masterpiece of a video, a few scenes stuck out. I won't go into an in-depth analysis, but good God, the number of references (both of your work and others) and memes stuffed into the New Vegas scene (when Azure gets shot) is incredible. Those flashing images don't seem like they're random, either. I need to rewatch that scene more closely later, but I get a sense that they are hinting at both the themes tying this video together and the events that will come in the next part (especially the Shizuka image and the relationship between the eclipse towards the end of the scene and the light we find towards the end of the video).
Even though I've only been watching you for 2-3 years now, it's been a pleasure to see how much you've grown after I rewatched your old videos, and I don't just mean your style. I can't wait for part two and am looking forward to seeing what your brilliantly demented mind memes on next.

There's a certain kind of "leap" that videos like this take. This video is far longer and far more involved that the usual animations Mirabeau puts out. It's attempting to blend Mirabeau's usual shitposting with a more clear and structured story, as well as one that has more serious scenes. And to take a leap like that requires an incredible amount of effort and courage. You never know if your audience will react well to shifts in style, tone, or format.
And that's why I'm overjoyed to say that I think this video nailed it. The video is so dense, so many background gags and quick one-off jokes that the shitposting is constantly a presence, but is always taking a backseat whenever Azure's problems are in the same room, so the tone doesn't feel inconsistent. And Azure himself is such an interesting character. His 180 demeanor shift at realizing everything he's in is fake is not only very believable, but is surprisingly relatable despite it being literally impossible to happen IRL (For me, it reminds me of someone who feels wholly unfulfilled with the work they were once so passionate about). And yet he's not wholly emotionless edgelord like most OCs tend to be. He is still very capable of having moments of blatant emotion, like looking around in confusion for the narrator on the plane, or his reaction to seeing Shrek at the end. All in all, this video had me glued to my screen for the entire duration and I can't wait to see what's coming in part 2.
One thing I'd like to commend you on in particular is how you're able to so well blend memes and humor into otherwise serious scenes. You could even say this is part of the narrative, for a much as Azure wants to take this all seriously, his wacky world inside SFM can never reflect that. It's like trying to have a confrontation with someone who just doesn't taken anything seriously, but scaled up to his entire world. Which would only make his predicament even more infuriating.
How can you betray me like this… Create characters that I love through short meme videos, then add so much characterization in twenty short minutes that i cant go back and see those old memes the same again, and you’ve managed to add more depth to these characters, then a billion dollar studio did while making the eternals?
God this filled me with nostalgia. I’ve been a subscriber for years at this point and it’s so cool seeing all these old callbacks and I can’t wait to see what you do next Mira. It’s gonna be great
This is a masterpiece in SO MANY FUCKING WAYS. The memes, the references, the animations, the movements, the camera techniques, the comedic timing, expressions, themes, everything. You definitely have became an animator i aspire to become like.
Now this is a masterpiece that not many will even begin to appreciate. Not only does it blend a deep and immersive story, it also manages to convey it through comedy that you'll never feel sad or depressed with the story because of how it's told or through what's happening around you. And now I finally know why Azure fucking shanked Morgan Freeman.
Alright. I stumbled upon this channel approximately 6 hours ago and i have since watched (almost) all the videos from this channel. The first video that got recommended to me was the Shizuka doing the my little pogchamp meme. At first, i was baffled by the animation and the movements of characters. The way he animated hand signs really blew my mind. I watched some more videos and got more and more amazed and i knee, I found a goldmine. The humor was top tier as was the animation. As i was watching videos, i saw this video, Azure:Sleepwalker. Now i watched this for a few minutes and realized it was lore based. As i only discovered this recently i didn't know anything about the lore. So i watched every single video before this one. It was like going back in time. The sfm's, old memes, it was like a nostalgia trip. It was also interesting to see how Mirabeau's animation was back in the day and how much he improved from there. Most of his early videos were shitposts and memes with a few recurring characters but it didn't make them less interesting. There wasn't any plot particularly but their were character arcs and some plot related videos. Now let's talk about the characters and OH BOY there are a lot of characters in the MCU(Mirabeau Cinematic Universe).
So how about we start with our MC, Azure and his relationship with Ruby. These two characters have been in the MCU since the first video. Their relationship was really wholesome and they were basically a couple. They lived together and everything seemed good. And as we see in this video that something made Azure's mental health deteriorate and made him depressed you can say. He became distant from everyone and became monotone instead of his cheery usual self. Also he shot his arm off for some reason??. And i guess the day he finally snapped came, the day Ruby got kidnapped by Freddie Freaker. When he eventually did find them, instead shooting Freddie Freaker, he shot Ruby instead. He also threw Ruby out the hospital window(lol?) I guess he just hated her that much. Now I don't really no why he did that and how did he got depressed in the first place maybe we'll get an answer when part 2 of Sleepwalker drops but till then it's unclear. Azure was at his darkest phase at this time. He was also hallucinating where he saw his past selves(idk if that video's canon tho). There was a hole in his heart which he never thought would heal. But like an angel came Shizuka in his life, a mute girl. They both Eventually get together(it was never shown in a video i think). Life's good, Azure has recovered from his depression, but not completely. He's still not the same as he once was, but better than the dark phase. He might have forgotten about his past, but his past did not. Looks like his past has caught up to him, Ruby is back from the dead to get her Azure back. At first Azure didn't recognize her or maybe he did and was in a denial but he certainly didn't want to ruin his current relationship with Shizuka to go back to Ruby. Naturally, Ruby hated Shizuka as in her eyes she "stole" him from her and multiple times harassed her. Well, Shizuka wasn't a softie too when it came to defending her relationship, and stood her ground infront of Ruby(And roasted her ass lol). Azure also clearly made sure that he and Ruby were over and she was nothing but his past. He also hates Ruby with a passion(tbh honest pretty much everyone in mcu bullies her at this point). And that's where things currently stand for them(at the moment of this video). Now let's get to the side characters.
Let's talk about my favorite characters: Jean De Arc and Doomguy. Now as a side note i haven't watched the Fate series nor RWBY so i don't know any of theses characters and I solely like them on their personality and how they were presented by Mirabeau. So Jean made her first appearance in the video where Artoria and Lucina fought against MinecraftMasterDude666(this might not be true, i am writing this solely on my memory). She and doomguy made their appearance together singing a song for jesus and when they visited Lucina to celebrate Christmas early. Then the grinch comes to ruin their Christmas and to take his revenge from a previous video where he tried to do the same thing and masterchief threw him in jail. But Doomguy is not Masterchief and does things to grinch that were too graphic to be even shown.
There are so many more characters that if i write about them this comment would be even longer than it is already like Sean Connery, Morgan Freeman, Goblin Slayer, Pepsiman and many more characters from the Fate, Gundam, Rwby even Metal Gear Rising Revengence, Team fortress 2, Half life 2 and many more. Finding this channel has been an amazing experience and i will be subscriber years to come. I love the creativity and humor, the animation, everything. I love your work Mirabeau and i will support you forever. I don't think anyone will read this far. I bet some will comment "I ain't reading allat"

Its funny to me, I've always been recommended and seen your videos over the past 3-4 years now, not all of them but some of them every so often. Just recently I started to watch from current day backwards to seeing the early days of Azure. Just yesterday I saw the train video with Ruby optimistically saying their experiences are fun though and now seeing not come full circle here is just...wow. And I gotta say I love the evolution of the character/setting, and this mainly relates to my own experience with Rwby, to being bright eyed and a loving fan to someone who would spit in the current show runners faces if given the opportunity. To despise the association of past history and wasted effort while instead focusing on newer, non shit things. Now not gonna say thats how you feel since most of the Ruby hate is played up for laughs I assume but I still feel there's something there. Azure was made for Ruby and Ruby to some degree was made for him, now Azures replaced her, moved on and seemingly forgotten about Ruby, even trying to kill her off the script but she still keeps trying to come back to him, unaware of the reasons she doesn't want to be associated with any more. Hell its pretty Meta given how almost all the og Rwby tubers have dropped the series given recent years or contents been waning via their fans.
If I had to say anything to the character of Azure it'ed be this, Rwby might be ass now, it might not be interesting or fun. But the Ruby that was friends with Azure doesn't need to be representative of current day rwby. She can be included, cringe be damned. I'm rambling at this point but just wanted to say if nothing else that I thought this episode was beautiful, as a whole of your characters journey, from the seeming weight making content out of obligation, the struggle of maintaining a world that seems hell bent on breaking, to set backs and making what you wanted despite how it may be received. Your work is good, its got a unique passion to it.
Theres nothing that i love more than trying to weave a coherent story out of years of making meme videos ans somehow making sence and making me exited for the next episode.
God, that scene of Jeanne and Doom guy made me excited! needs more Shizuka tho
This feels End Of Evangelion-esque in the sheer emotional rawness, the kind of shit that in the hands of another creator who wasn't so emotionally involved with his work could have came off as edgy, but it's not. Yet somehow it's still pretty funny.

Man ngl this definitely jumped back and forth between cringe for me but I couldn’t turn away because every time a punchline hit, it HIT. This was so great.

A teaspoon of vanilla extract, lemon curd, jam, maybe some whipped cream, (depends on your preferred choice of filling), 180°C / 356°F for about 25 - 30 mins and your done.

This is like the "You can't find my real emotions I'm hiding under 6 layers of irony" post but in video format
I love everything about this- how it takes all the previous silly goofy videos on your channel and makes it a unified universe, and having them all stage these videos is brilliant, too, and there's so much potential for drawing real life parallels with you and Azure making these videos-
I love pieces of media that are very personal and have a lot of heart and soul put into them, and this clearly shows this. I may not perfectly see how you and Azure relate, but I can tell him- and likely, extension, you- are unsatisfied with making these videos in a sense. In the airplane, he (you? Someone??) mentioned how you're in college now... and I really resonate with that. I'm trying to make my own story that I started in like middle school, and as I've gotten older and in college myself, it's a lot harder to feel the same way about it as I do now.
I can already tell this series is gonna be something truly special. The humor is just- amazing as well, I LOVE the taxi scene where they're driving off a cliff when the driver stops looking, and it's just perfectly normal for this universe. You have so much creativity and are so funny that I'm willing to support you every step of the way. I'm so glad I stumbled across your channel!!!!
