Nobody came here to have ANOTHER JP dub simp trying to make it a competition again 🗿 The JP dub in Arknights is pretty good, and that's especially nice coming from me as someone who generally is tired of JP dubs because their dubbing is EXTREMELY dependant on extreme character tropes and it causes people to potentially get the wrong assumption about characters because of the voice being an incorrect interpretation of who they are. (Lappland is a great example of a character that's been mis-characterized by a lot of people as a Yandere despite having none of the typical tendencies written into her character and it's almost entirely because of her voice being Yandere-like in the JP dub) Please stop making it a competition, it's not one. You preference isn't a fact, and the English dub in Arknights constantly getting new additions is proof enough that people love to hear specific regionally appropriate accents. If anything, English makes WAY more sense contextually because irl it's the most commonly used language and also has the biggest variety of accents due to the loose rules of the language for pronunciation.

Her accent actually is from Göteborg (Gothenburg) south of Sweden where they have a softer dialect than the north of Swedes like Stockholm.
Saying that Stockholm is in "the north of Sweden" is a bit silly when it's 2/3 of the way down the country. It's north of Gothenburg at least though.
