I loved grabbing a thug bringing him to the top of the empire state and tombstoning him off it. Nothing more satisfying than that. Also the web swinging was the best it's ever been in this game the speed and momentum you could reach can't be matched by others.

Still absolutely blown away by the meta aspect of Mysterio powering himself up with THREE boss health bars only to be taken out in one hit. Phenomenal.
The devs put so much love into this game, it's unreal.
Can only pray that if insomniac makes a mysterio bossfight, they add that same beautiful gimmick.

Man, when I was a kid I used to boot up this game and just go swinging around like a maniac for hours, only sightseeing and seeing where I can get to. The freedom of movement this game offered back then was phenomenal

I can’t express how much fun 8 year old me had with this game. When mysterio gets a massive health bar just to go down in one hit is still so funny to me. The voice over and narrator are so good funny as well.
Dude that mission after where you swing out over the river and have to fight him above the Liberty statue, was hard af but one of my most fulfilling moments as a tike, playing videogames.
I played this game too lol. I played it a lot. I have always remembered the pizza delivery part.

Seeing Dunkey utterly and miserably fail at saving people on the drowning boat was truly relieving. As a kid I always felt like the biggest noob when I couldn't finish this sidequest (still can't do up to this day), but seeing the real gamer such as Dunker struggle with it puts my mind at ease. It's not that I'm noob, it's that forspoken is a bad game!
I got to the point where I stopped taking quests by the water because I would almost never succeed when they popped up. If they did I'd just run away and leave them to their cold, watery graves.

3:56 FINALLY there's video of Spiderman preforming the hidden lotus on a criminal. I remember dragging a guy all the way to the top of the tallest building and then doing it. That man had a solid 10 seconds to reach terminal velocity and contemplate the impact he'd had on his friends, family, and concrete street below

God I loved this game growing up. I used to play this with my younger sister. She loved exploring the world and doing side missions. Whenever a boss fight came up she always let me take care of them. It was a real bonding moment for us.

There are buoys in the water that you have to platform on for most of those. They were the worst, that's why I never took missions near the coast xD
