This is a live compilation with footage from Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 and LA Forum 2019 but the part when MoaMetal sings is from "BABYMETAL ARISES: Beyond The Moon - Legend M" 2019 at Nagoya city, her hometown. This is the year they began with the _avengers_ backup dancers system filling the third spot, Kano Fujihira is the name of this avenger, but remember no other group member got official name revealed until MomoMetal was announced as an official member, she already got her 20th Birthday in last March but we're gonna have to wait for MomoBanger version next year at Legend MM 2024 in Yokohama.🍑❤️

SuMetal got her own 20th birthday celebration at Legend S 2017 but that clip is heavily blocked, next week (December 20th) is her special b'day so i highly suggest you to come back with something special for her, such:
- Tamaahi No Rufuran (Soul's Refrain) live at Legend 1997, this is a Evangelion song cover.
This song got so many good versions that all of them deserves their own spot, such the first Headbanger!! live with a Kami Band first time showing up at Legend I (2012) till the Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 version or more recently at Makuhari Messe 2023, fans are so lucky to enjoy this song at The Babyklok Tour in every setlist as well the recent Europe & UK Tour recently finished.

About how good of a singer Moa is, Without going into Sakura Gakuin too deep, Basically every person that has been a member of BM is fully capable of fronting a band. And Moa is often considered within top 5/top 10 best singers from Sakura Gakuin, Su being No.1.
I would say top 10 is fair. Top 5 is maybe kind of reaching since we have atleast Miko, Su and Ayami who I would say are definitely "better" than Moa and then girls like Marina and Kano (I'm sure there are others aswell it's just been a while since I've watched SG content) who are on the same level as Moa.
@Tyyppl Hence why I put Top 5/Top 10, as there are people that would argue for both instances.
@@Tyyppl I would include Saki Ohga and Maaya Asou, along with Su, Ayami and Miko in my top five.
Moa is still one of my favorite all-time members though.

Headbanger is a song about coming of age, and it's been a birthday song sung on milestone birthdays by the girls taking over midway.... Yui's done it once before her departure, Moa's done it twice (This was her 20th bday concert Legend M)... now we're all hoping for a Momobanger for when Momoko's bday rolls around....😁😁😁🤘🦊🤘
and in March, we find out that we have a triple threat in the singing department when our beloved Momo does this same thing
This is no doubt my favourite Babymetal performance. Showcases that Moa isn't just a dancer and can belt it out. Also Su giving it her all and not missing a beat when taking over Moas role, shows her versatility as well. Moa also sings in Onedari DaiSakusen although I dont think its as good as what she does in Headbanger. Hopefully we get to see Momo perform Momobanger next march at her Bday concert Legend - MM!
People forget, Su CAN dance, very well, but as we all know her style is , especially younger, is *ahem* unorthodox 😊😊

Moa is an awesome singer easily capable of fronting a band herself. This also shows just how very special Su is. Moa would be first to agree. Extremely talented women.
Great reaction. 'Headbanger' is such a great song. The original is about a girl going to her first concert on her 15th birthday, but it is also a coming of age thing.
In Japan compulsory education ends at 15, so the girl is realising life will never be the same, her first 15 years passed by so quickly, so she is etching their special night of her 15th into her heart so she will never forget.
In 2014 at shows on or near their own 15th birthdays Yui (in Paris) and Moa (In Cologne) took the mic and stand from Su half way through (just as Moa did again here) to finish the song as lead vocalist while Su took their place (seamlessly) in the choreo. There are only fancam video from those shows.
This was from Legend M in 2019, Moa's 20th birthday, the official coming of age in Japan, so another big milestone ... and once again Moa took over lead vocals, as you saw ... with a change of lyric to "...this special night of my 20."
'Headbanger' is a special song anyway - the official video introduced the neck brace they have since used so much in their lore. In 2012 the Kami Band made their very first appearance and the first song they played was 'Headbanger' (you can find that if you look for 'Headbanger live at Legend I').
There is a dub step/EDM remix performed twice - and Legend D for Su-metal's 15th birthday in December 2012 and again a year later at the start of Legend 1997 for her 16th. That is called 'Headbanger - Night of 15 Remix'. Later in that same show they played the original version of 'Headbanger' as well.
We are hoping for a Momometal version next year at the Legend MM concerts ... celebrating Momometal's 21st birthday.
Watch as many different versions as you can ... they tend to switch up what they do during each performance.
Nice reaction to this special performance of Headbanger by BABYMETAL. This show was Moas twentieth birthday show so she got to sing the last half of Headbanger. Usually Su sings the whole song but Moa and Yui got to sing it couple of times on their birthdays. They will be having a Legend MM show in Japan in March for Momokos birthday so we are all hoping that she gets to sing Headbanger aswell then. Ofcourse only the fox god knows if that will happen.
Everyone that has been in Babymetal, including the Avengers who just danced and didn't even have a mic, can sing very well. They have all been in music since they were very young.

Not sure if you noticed, but they changed the lyric from "ichigo", to "hatachi".
ichigo is an unusual way to express the number fifteen (1+5), and hatachi means twenty years old.
ichigo can also mean strawberry, or (in the context of the song), once in a lifetime.
Of course this concert celebrated Moa's 20th birthday.
The girl in the original version of the song had just turned fifteen.

Moa is indeed a good singer. You can see her singing quite a bit in the Sakura Gakuin videos. She doesn't have the breath control and near perfect pitch of Su but she is great.
Her voice didn't waiver when she was jumping while singing.

Moa can be a "superlady" on her own, but she chose to support Su-metal, and that alone makes us love Moa. A great singer, a great dancer, a great visual, but a personality that is god tier.

Have to give mad respect to Su for passing the mic to Moa AND taking her choreography role serious when filling in for Moa's dance moves. That part at 6:30 where she's also pulling on her imaginary double ponytail.

Yes, our Angel of Love could front a band of her own, but has stated in a previous interview that she is not entirely comfortable being the center of attention all of the time and prefers her role in supporting Su-metal. So times like this where she does take center-stage are special.❤
Also, while Moa does not have Su's breath control, she does draw that last scream out a full second longer than Su does, making her the Queen of Scream in my book and justification for why her official role in the band is "Scream and Dance"

Nice reaction. Legend M was a special concert. Notice how easily Su moved into the side position in total support of Moa. My favorite spot here is when Moa is doing her best Su impersonation. With a serious face Moa holds it for as long as she can and then she hears the crowd cheering for her. And then Moa has to be Moa and she smirks. Only making the fans cheer more. All three of the original members probably would have been Jpop stars all on their own. But why be a jpop star when you can be an immortal metal goddess? In their early days Moa was also known as Best Metal among the three. Moa has really taken to it. Lately she is doing some serious head down to the floor headbanging too. When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up. Moa said she wanted to be SUPER MOA CHAN. At the start of the Legend M concert for her 20th birthday Moa floated down to the stage from the upper deck seating. With the Babymetal Logo. I think the Blue ray is the only footage of this that has appeared anywhere. Other than that, there is a still shot of it. Which just doesn't do it justice. She has become SUPER MOA CHAN indeed.

I'm late as always haha... This was a very special occasion for Moa's 20th birthday. We expect something like this with Momoko next March 2nd or 3rd (or both) at Legend-MM shows. She turns 21 on March 3rd. They change the age in the lyrics on these special performances. So, it's possible she will sing "hatachi" (20) on the first day and "nijūichi" (21) on the second. And I will be there at the Yokohama Arena to see it, probably crying, haha...
And I agree, Moa has a very sweet and beautiful voice and she could be the lead singer of any pop group. But she professes devotion to Su-metal and her loyalty is unbreakable.

Honestly for me Moa has the best color of voice in BM. SU has the best technique of the 3 but I could listen to Moa sing all day simply because she is no slouch with the beautiful voice she has.

It's hard to describe how hyped the we were to finally have a pro-shot version of this song. I am joining your trip down the foxhole late but I have a couple of suggestions for what you should listen to next. I know some people will want you to react to the music videos but I think you should stick to the live performances; there is nothing quite like a live Babymetal concert. she could replace SUu-metal's position as babymetal's leader with the voice she has which is no less good than SUu-metal, it's just that there are many babymetal songs that are not/not suitable for Moa-metal to sing. Moa can be SUu in a headbanger song and SUu-chan has it all. good voice, good voice control, energetic, has the ability to dance beyond a dancer's instincts and much more. that's why SUu-chan is still the leader. because SUu-chan has what Moa-chan has mastered, and Moa-chan doesn't fully have what SUu-chan has mastered (still in the process of developing).
