standing there is bad enough, but mauling them around and grabbing the reigns is totally unacceptable. I wish there were some laws to protect those poor horses.
The tourists are just ignorant, and apparently illiterate as they can't read a sign that tells them the horses kick and bite, but send their kids over there anyway. They consider them tin soldiers on play horses. It's disgusting. They are highly trained soldiers and some of the best riders in the country!
It amazes me that these ignorant people have to be told to move back when you can clearly see the horse is upset. I keep saying they need to make new rules to stop people from crowding the horse and petting it.
"SPOOKED horse RUNS down packed street!" *Horse who was annoyed that people kept wanting to violate it's nostrils walks off indignantly for a few seconds*
What is wrong with these people? You have a frightened horse and your laughing loudly and crowding around like idiots. Right after getting back in place you've got two ignorant back at it, the man who is just staring and the bimbo in the black jacket who actually runs towards the Guard and horse. There's barriers there, they should make everyone stand behind them and on allow a few at a time to get photos and then move on so there's no crowd build up all the time.
When are the people in charge going to stop members of the public petting and stroking the horses, it upsets them, and there was a prime example, it a good job the young lady was there to run after the horse and bring it back.
Maybe the area where the horse and Guard is, could be roped off with enough space so strangers do not pat him. The dear horse has a lot to deal with: noise, distractions, weight and he's trying to focus on standing still.
Ropes are a danger to both the horse and the public. It's too easy for the horses to get tangled up or trip. A painted line on the ground would be safest.
At the very least they could have a police officer standing nearby to stop these ignorant cretins from bothering the horses - the poor horses didn't even ask for the job.
Why are people so stupid. These horses and their Officers aren’t amusements at Disney Land. They are on duty. Maintain a respectful distance and move along. Stand right in line of a spooked horse. Dear Lord! 🤦🏼♀️
Unfortunately, so many people in so many situations are unable to distinguish make believe from reality. That applies politically, but in more widespread situation. I worked in a library that had a children's reading area decorated with a setting related to some popular books. It had a gate and a transparent stream with fish embedded, frogs sitting on the bank and more. In the first minutes of the very first day the place was opened for the first time, I witnessed generally well-behaved kids turn into rampaging monsters as soon as the passed the gate--as it if were a Macdonald's play area. And a couple years later, a woman complained to me as Manager that a librarian had warned her 4 year old about the same kind of behavior. She asked, with grave seriousness, why we made the area look like Outdoors if we didn't want Outdoor Behavior. It is everywhere.
Always surprised by the people surrounding the horse. They are literally on the horse as soon as his back in his surroundings. Can’t they just stop touching the horse !!!!!!!!!!!!
Apparently they are all illiterate and ignorant. They stand right by the sign that says the horses bite and kick, and send their kids in for photos.....what kind of parents are they? It also tells them to keep off the reigns, but that apparently applies to everyone except the person pulling on the reigns. There should be some kind of consequence for bothering the horses. (the Guards at least volunteered for the job - the horses are shanghaied.
Perhaps if those tourists get kicked in the face they will learn to give the horses room. Very impressed by that female soldier though, she was really quick off the mark running after that horse and helping to take control of it. Too many tourists in too little space, what were the police doing???
Stroppy horse goes for a bimble down pavement. If he had been spooked and running there is no way the soldeir on foot would have caught up to him and lead him back.
Someday someone will get really hurt by a stressed horse, and only then will they realize they need to provide distance between these magnificent horses and the public.
It;s time to put severe restrictions in place to keep the public away from the horses. If people want to pet a horse, go to a petting farm, but leave these working horses alone. I am sure restictions can be put in place., rather than a horse being provoked to the point of stampeding or biting and kicking and then having it's career ended.
...and the police stand back uselessly, as usual. Why weren't they controlling the crowd? And, still, the tourists stand and gawk. Bad judgment call there, with the soldier walking away. No way should that guard have been left in that situation. Then, here come the idiots up close again for their photo ops. Complete and total morons, the lot of them. To be honest, I was hoping the horse would take off again and injure someone...maybe that would alert The Powers That Be to the awful conditions these horses and guards are working under and they'd do something to better protect them.
I've never seen the Guards do anything like that. I hope I never do. I can't abide spurs for any reason. If someone dug those into my ribs I wouldn't stand idly by.
What a crowd! That could be dangerous. The horse had become nervous. The public don't understand what a horse can do it in panic. They laugh like unaware person.
Winnie Wallace... If this was happening in a circus everyone would be up in arms. Expecting a horse to stand still for hours is unexceptional, not to mention the tourists. They're more out of control than the horse becomes.
It's not a "good point" but they do one hour on and so many hours off, but even an hour is an hour too long. No wonder some of them plain refuse to go in the box,, they didn't even volunteer for the job.
There have gotten too many tourists around the front gates and they should NOT be allowed to block the soldiers and ABSOLUTELY not allowed to touch the horses it's absolutely ignorant and rude at this point. These animals need protection.
How I wish the King would put a stop to all this mess. It really is dangerous for the HORSES and the guardsman's. and I guess I need to add the tourist to that list too shouldn't I? Ok, ok here it is and the tourist too. ❤❤❤

Horse says “I think I’ll just go for a walk down here” lol, but on a serious note glad nobody got injured, tfs Julie
The trooper knows her way around horses..! Good job!
2:19 I would not be standing inches from the back legs of a spooked horse!
I love horses
People forget those guards are highly trained military personnel. The weapons the police carry are fully loaded with real ammo.
And the swords the guards carry can kill you. Those are real weapons
I keep saying they need to make new rules to stop people from crowding the horse and petting it.
that poor guard he couldn't do anything that horse was determined to go back to the stables.
The horse wanted to go do some shopping 😂
"Time for a stroll. Oh come on, I dont want to go back in there! Noisy tourists, screaming kids. Need quiet time!"
Horrors!! That CROWD! If I was a tourist, I wouldn’t even want to
be in that mess!!!!
Why doesn’t the military or government place boundaries around the guards. People are so rude and 99.5% don’t show any respect for them.
"SPOOKED horse RUNS down packed street!"
*Horse who was annoyed that people kept wanting to violate it's nostrils walks off indignantly for a few seconds*
Click bait title for sure. Ridiculous! "The King's Guard" YT channel needs a different job.
I understand why this horse was spooked. I feel so sorry for the horse and kings guard. Whoa! There are so many people surrounding them.
My God ,,, far to many people at once,,,, I feel bad for the guards and the horses ,,, there has to be a better way !!!😢😮
What is wrong with these people? You have a frightened horse and your laughing loudly and crowding around like idiots. Right after getting back in place you've got two ignorant back at it, the man who is just staring and the bimbo in the black jacket who actually runs towards the Guard and horse. There's barriers there, they should make everyone stand behind them and on allow a few at a time to get photos and then move on so there's no crowd build up all the time.
🤣 the horse felt like taking the new rider for a stroll
Poor horses and mounted guards! They surely deserve better!
so many people it's over stimulation for the horse. That as a good trick to bring it in thought the back doors.
The powers that be should stop this. I feel for the guards, and the horses.
The horse has had enough!! Poor horse
Respect for the guards , because you have the privilege to watch them have respect .they are armed and can shoot . 🇬🇧🇬🇧🙏🙏😊
Too many people and the horses are learning new things for the King's parade
Poor horse is overwhelmed by tourists swarming him and the guard. Back up people!!! Insanity!
People and their cameras!!!!This makes me sick. The poor horses and soldiers having to put up with this BS.King Charles needs to put a stop to this..
The crowd is too thick.
The horse WALKED, it didn't run.
I saw no spook and run... I saw a horse who wanted to go for a little walk...
Horses get peed off as we do sometimes. The guards are amazing. More l watch, more respect l have for them, horse and rider.
Horse said, I’m done, I’m off to the pub.
That horse does not “run” anywhere, he decided to walk down the sidewalk, which was not “packed.” Just a bit busy.
Thanks for introducing me to a new word. I was ignorant of "bible", which is a sweet term.
I've noticed that when the horse and guard are within the alcove no comes in to pet the horse. The horse also feels safer and calms down.
The crowds probably spooked the note.
I would not let anyone touch the horse!
...and the police stand back uselessly, as usual.
Sometimes the sliders will spur and yank on the horses but some riders are understanding and kind to them❤
I've never seen the Guards do anything like that. I hope I never do. I can't abide spurs for any reason. If someone dug those into my ribs I wouldn't stand idly by.
Yes my thoughts too . They should be barriers .
They don't "stand still for hours" they're on duty for 1 hour 3 days a week.
It's not a "good point" but they do one hour on and so many hours off, but even an hour is an hour too long. No wonder some of them plain refuse to go in the box,, they didn't even volunteer for the job.
Horse said "Break time for me." I watch a lot of these vidoes and man the horses are so beautiful and majestic.
There have gotten too many tourists around the front gates and they should NOT be allowed to block the soldiers and ABSOLUTELY not allowed to touch the horses it's absolutely ignorant and rude at this point. These animals need protection.
😮😮😮 Oh my goodness. My heart goes out to the guards and horses
Man that horse DECIDED his shift was over lol
How I wish the King would put a stop to all this mess. It really is dangerous for the HORSES and the guardsman's. and I guess I need to add the tourist to that list too shouldn't I? Ok, ok here it is and the tourist too. ❤❤❤
The horse wanted to mingle 😅hoping for some snacks 😜
