People should be more aware, I'm surprized there aren't more serious incidents with the volume of people there.
The guard handled his horse very well. But it must be so boring for the poor horse, standing there and people touching it all the time. They should really have signs up saying no touching of horses. And if the people still do touch then fine them or a ticket.
The Horse was wise, fed up with being treated badly by the wrongness out there. Give the horse extra treats. Horses senses are always right. They know the intentions of others are not good for them at times. The new horse also not happy with things, what's been put there or who is causing this. Inam differently on the both horses side, they are the truth of what ever triggering them.
When I was young, I used to work with problem horses. The most dangerous thing I ever had were the ones that rear up. If they go over backwards, it can kill you. This guy was a real pro. He stayed calm and didn’t get off. You can’t, or they know that will work, if it is a problem horse. But my guess is that this horse would not be there if he had a habit like this. Much to dangerous.

@@Christianne-md2nd Oh well, good. The key take away is don’t get off if you can avoid it. Most horses will NOT go over backwards on themselves all by themselves!!!! That happens when the rider pulls back on the reins and effectively pulls the horse over backwards themself!!! Very sad and dangerous business! Never pull back on the reins when a horse is rearing up. You must allow their head the freedom to get in position to come back down. Gravity………. Up and over is almost always the fault of the rider.
@@cababyboomerq6012 I grew up with horses on a somewhat casual level and I thought it was common sense to lean over the horse and loosen the rains. You don’t want to increase the backwards momentum, right!?! I’ve enjoyed this conversation.
It's torture to stand still for the guards, even more so for the horses... if the animal isn't really willing to collaborate with the human, keeping it so close to the mouth has the opposite effect, you have to give space, but the guard changing times don't allow you to have the right time for the poor horse... but does anyone know how long the guard shifts last?
It's ridiculous that these poor horses are made to stand for long periods of time in confined spaces and abused by spectators for show purposes. It should be illegal!
I would hate to have to see these guards run in those uniforms. Judging from the look of the helmets and boots, they probably wouldn't make it very far if there was a zombie apocalypse! 😂
I think the horse just did not want to work today and he made it clear. He just couldn’t handle the noise and all those crazy people everybody needs a day off.
IMO, I don't think these horses are cared for properly and obviously don't enjoy what they are doing. Even a fast food worker/cashier has a mat to stand on. Why on earth should these horses be forced to stand on brick/concrete for extended periods of time? WHY can't they have stall matts there to stand on? I know there are "special shoes" for riding on hard surfaces, but these horses are standing in one place. Even a dog gets arthritis from living on concrete. I can imagine that when these horses are "retired," they have arthritis. ARE they actually sent to pasture with arthritis and their (deservedly) developed nasty attitudes for the rest of their lives? I have an opinion about that, too.
Genuine question, would it be too difficult to sheath the sword and use two hands to control the horse, or would attempting it be at the risk of losing control?
I do not blame these horses for being upset, considering the constant pawing etc. that they have to endure day after day. I would like to see a fence of some sort to separate these gorgeous horses from the idiots.

People should be more aware, I'm surprized there aren't more serious incidents with the volume of people there.
Horse didn't want to report to duty
Well done that young man .
Well something really spooked" that horse.
That horse said “Oh Hail no! I QUIT!”
The guard handled his horse very well. But it must be so boring for the poor horse, standing there and people touching it all the time. They should really have signs up saying no touching of horses. And if the people still do touch then fine them or a ticket.
Where's the police handling a dangerous situation then?
What would you have the police do??
@@romascott6567 What?
Exactly bro I don’t see anything crazy
Right! The British soldier handled the dangerous situation. Next time The King’s Guards fact check.
The Horse was wise, fed up with being treated badly by the wrongness out there. Give the horse extra treats. Horses senses are always right. They know the intentions of others are not good for them at times.
The new
horse also not happy with things, what's been put there or who is causing this.
That was articulate and very well said. Thanks for the experienced insight!
@@Christianne-md2nd Yikes! I just read it myself. I cleaned it up. Thanks for the tip off. I swear this thing puts in words that never even crossed my mind. I need to remember to proof read!!! Hopefully it makes sense now.
I’m not sure how the misunderstanding happened but I meant what I said, sincerely.
Now I’ve put it together. I always proof read! I’m fanatical about it. 👍😊
The horse: 😧I don't want to see Sandra! 😳Is she here? 🥺She scares me.. 😢To much stress 😩PLEASE , I'M NOT HORSE-ING AROUND - - - "NO"
It is time to have barriers so the onlookers cannot approach so close.
I so agree with you on barriars. Thet do have a chain across they should keep it up
Legend has it that the horse was grounded and sent to his room with no supper 🤣🇬🇧
Horse, “I’m going back in, with or without you!” Second horse out, “Aw, this was supposed to be my day off! Should I act up a little, too?”
I think the soldier handled a very dangerous situation
Yikes, barn sour!!!! And man that is dangerous. And that guy never moved his sword, what a pro!!!!!
Did I miss something I didn't see the police involved in that. Well done to the guardsman, that could have ended quite nastily.
Tourists trying to walk through the box don’t see the horse poop!!
Those poor horses, they must get sick of people touching them all the time.
The horse was trying to tell them he wasn’t in the mood to stand there for hours today.
👍👍 TOP NOTCH!
It's ridiculous that these poor horses are made to stand for long periods of time in confined spaces and abused by spectators for show purposes. It should be illegal!
100% agree.
I would hate to have to see these guards run in those uniforms. Judging from the look of the helmets and boots, they probably wouldn't make it very far if there was a zombie apocalypse! 😂
They are perfectly equipped for that with their sabers.
The public touching and petting has got to stop! The horses I’m sure are not happy with the constant petting !!!
That horse is saying nope had enough of the crazies today....nope...no way....nope❤😂
I am done peopling today😂
If a horse says, nah, not working today. Then it's game over. They get a day off. :D
" No nonsense today! Let's run in the park!"
Lost his stirrup: too risky all round.
I think the horse just did not want to work today and he made it clear. He just couldn’t handle the noise and all those crazy people everybody needs a day off.
Even horses know when enough is enough.
That's how I go to work everyday 😂
Finally!!!! Now maybe people will get the hint to leave the horse's alone! Good job you beautiful animal, thank God that the guard is alright!
Estos pobres caballos están cansados de estar en el mismo sitio durante horas, igual que los guardias 😮
How do they handle the horse when they take it away
Horse sense is better than people sense. Lmao😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 BTW was it a Monday?😊😊😊😊😊❤
That horse in the beginning of the video was just like - "Not today!! No way!!" It's great that they didn't force the horse to stay!
Poor horse and Guard. Post coronation adrenalin nerves.
After seeing all those people can't blame the horse.Same routine every day
That particular horse won’t do it every day. They have many trained horses.
Genuine question, would it be too difficult to sheath the sword and use two hands to control the horse, or would attempting it be at the risk of losing control?
Don't blame the horse I wouldn't want to go out either. The way those people paw and torment the poor old things.
And that was the horse saying “I’m actually in charge!”
The Guard was amazingly efficient. This will happen more and more if the crowds are not held back.
Poor horse. Has had enough of tourists
I am on the horses side. The people just crowd them and are constantly in their faces.
Horse is saying “ Oh no, not getting me back in there”
So strange tht on this day the horse said no,but preferred to go back inside🤣😜
horse- nope not going to work today, don't want to put up with all the karens out there, maybe tomorrow
I do not blame these horses for being upset, considering the constant pawing etc. that they have to endure day after day. I would like to see a fence of some sort to separate these gorgeous horses from the idiots.
I don't think it is right that people get to pet the horses and stand and get their picture taken.
That fur baby wasn’t having any guard duty today, I call in from work from time to time myself, so I’m not judging
The Guardsman was spectacular in handling the situation, WELL DONE!!!
