I've recently started using Future because I've just started using craft acrylics. I've heard of the glass trick years ago and was going to try it out so thank you very much for the how to on it. It will save me some frustrations on the first time trial and error. I'm really glad to see the Future glue tip because I never would have thought about letting it gel up like that. I was hoping to use Future to mount the glass in my community box stock build as i;ve heard that the Chevy Cameo that I'm doing has fit issues. Thank You.
i've heard alotof talk about using this , now seeing how it works in a LIVE setting to actually see the steps . Im going to have to pick some of this up and give it a try. The glue trick seems great for headlights and tail lights .
Thanks for the tutorial. In UK Johnson klear is cloudy and scented. Not a problem web spraying it but different story when trying this method. I need to get a bottle of US formula lol. Good vid
This vid couldn't have better timing, I'm getting ready to do some future finish repair to a car body i recently did an indented final clear coat on. I had done a liberal coat of future on the body pre-decals. laid the decals, and then with intent to protect them, hit it with another liberal coat of future. When i looked at it after 24 hrs, i realized that i hadn't wicked off the excess. and alas , had bubbles runs and drips along the rockers. I wiped the semi dry bubbles away with Windex.on a swab, but it seemed to have dissolved all the way to the paint, so now there's holes in the clear coat. i figured i would be able to reapply the future to the repairs and sou rounding areas only after maybe smoothing the runs out. this time ill remember to wick off the drips and let the self leveler do the rest. if you have any advise on how to prep the body from here that i might have over looked. holler . thanks Andy.

Future trick #87
if you want to tint your glass, you can add food color to the Future, and either spray or dip part or all of the glass!
indeed- I show that in a couple videos also , I also use the food color mix on carbs for the green/gold anodized look over aluminum
You need to show what it looks like when it is done :)
***** next video ,, or you can check out the glass in any of my previous completed builds.
Great tip with the FUTURE GLUE
instead of superglue you have FUTUREGLUE...
What type of brush would you recommend for oil paints
a good quality synthetic brush
