- Gaming Pastime reviews Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was released for PC in May, 2013. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is a kickass time that comes to an end way too soon.

Blood Dragon originally released in 2013, not 2010 as we stated in the review. Apologies.
You should add this game to your list to try out/test out "Hard-Reset" one of the GOATS of PC gaming.
I think everyone loves Blood Dragon and wanted more of it. Naturally, Ubisoft refused to do anything more with the concept outside of that one Trials DLC and the recent cartoon that doesn't really do the concept.
Best tutorial in video game history. And that training montage cutscenes!
Probably the best far cry there is.
This game is amazing and if you have a love for the 80's "movie aesthetic", this is a game you should play. BTW: The 80's wasn't as neon as you've been told. 😁
Well not 80's itself, but movies and entertainment then overall was quite heavy on neons and especially lasers and of course explosions and fire 😀
Best Standalone Game Ever
A game that leaves you wanting more is always a good thing, but there should have been a sequel. I know there was (groan) Trials, but that sucked and I don't care for the cartoon.
Awesome game, just wish they put more effort into the "Classic Edition" of both this and Far Cry 3. Horrendous input lag and capped at 30 fps. Honestly one of the worst port/remasters I've played
I tried playing this for the first time just a couple days ago on PS5. The game looked pretty fun, but the controls are so bad it's literally unplayable. Impossible to aim properly even using the aim assist.
I loved the reference, big Michael voicing, and those awesome reload animations! Could've with done more variety in the visuals and terrain though.
Also after watching your Halo reviews im surprised that you don't mention the brain dead enemy AI in Far Cry games.
I enjoyed this one. It's like a Farcry without all the repetitive busy-work.... and with LAZERS
THank you, I had no idea this game got a PS4 release, downloading it now XD
How did u get it running on win eleven?
It's as if Ubisoft caught lightning in a bottle with this title, yet they've been unable to replicate this success with their other spin-offs. ⚡🚫
I would of loved if got stand alone blood dragon games that tired different things than being far cry
This is the only Far Cry I have ever played and it will probably remain so until we get Blood Dragon 2.
Can you review prototype game pleas?
Wait this came out two years before FC3???
it literally was 2013.. after the release of FC3 in nov '12. cmon bruh
The wr9ting and cut scenes are so fucking great. It's so beautifully stupid
This is one time I disagree with it being too short. This particular game is exactly as long as it needs to be. I can start it up and 100% it quickly and enjoy every bit of it. Would it have been better if you unlocked another island? No. It just gets bloated like all the next Far Cry games. Great gameplay, quick to finish, and I don't remember it being expensive.
This. Perfect length.
I kinda agree on this. It's fun, but gameplay felt fc3 in quite extreme way and I think it would've began to feel very repetitive, very fast. Though this was back then. Now for people who hasn't played fc's for long time it's for sure short title.
WE OUT HERE!!!!!
Demons souls / dark souls when ?????
released in 2010 basic mistakes not really acceptable
Yeah, before Fat Cry 3?
