- Опубликовано: 18 окт 2024
- Pokemon Sword and Shield have brought us some old and new Pokemon into the world of Galar. Some Pokemon come in many shapes and sizes. Some also evolve into very different Pokemon as well. Speaking of evolutions, today I wanted to go over the top 10 hardest Pokemon to evolve in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Evolutions can go from trading, to having certain items, and even some weird conditions like friendships. Pokemon Sword and Shield brought us a plethora of old and new Pokemon to evolve and discover on our own and today i wanted to point out which ones I found the most difficult to do. With that being said though, let’s hop into the hardest evolutions in Pokemon Sword and Shield!

Here’s how you evolve Farfetch’d:
1. Catch it.
2. Teach it Focus Energy
3. Find a wobbafett
4. Use focus energy, then rock smash three times.
You’re welcome.
Throw in a leek in there as well!
Plus a leek
I did this before this comment even existed. Except for the first part. And a leek.
Make it hold a leek.
A better way is to have farfetch'd relearn peck, and go to the galar mines and use peck on a stunfisk until it gets 3 critical hits. Way faster than OP's way
Honorable Mention:
Rufflet:
You would usually catch this Pokémon early game around Lvl.14, it needs to be Lvl.54 to evolve. That is just absurd
Catch one after at least defeating Raihan. ALL Wild Area encounters will be at least level 60. Then just hurl a rare candy at it.
@@UltimateFunBilly not many people will want to wait until raihan
Noibat too. It is so weak and doesn’t evolve until lv. 48
@@Lyorks99 Its kinda funny if you think about it.
Goomy is called the weakest Dragon type, while in reality, Noibat and Noivern are the weakest.
Alcreami
Make milcery hold a certian item then spin
"Has to wait 6 badges to get the razor claw" still better than having to wait to victory road to get the razor claw in gen 4
Trouble is in gen 4 you can get sneasel before facing the 7th gym while here you can get sneasel after the third gym. So you have to wait longer to evolve sneasel.
Actually no. After u fight cyrus and get the master ball. U can free the lake trio but when you come back to the room and use the dowsing machine. U can actually find the razor claw in his room.
That's in Platinum, I'm talking about Diamond and Pearl
You can actually get a Razor Claw before the third Badge if you're lucky. The bargai shop at Stow-on-Side can offer to sell you one.
Or Sun and Moon, Jesus Christ. Only found on Jangmo-o 5% of the time, and Jangmo-o was a 5% encounter rate.
True Story: one time, I found myself wanting a Weavile, so I did the trick with putting a fainted Compound Eyes Butterfree in front, put Thief on Alolan Exeggutor (has Frisk) got a drink, turned on a podcast, and settled in for what I thought would be a long, tedious process.
First fucking try.
In Alola:
Go on Chase the Pokemon!
IN GALAR:
POKEMON CHASE YOU

Honorable mention: Alcremie.
Literally. The game doesn't tell you ANYTHING about how to evolve Milcery into Alcremie, aside from the /subtle/ hint in the held items' text. And even then, there's the forms to make it even more of a struggle, since *style*. Overall, one of the tougher ones to even realize exists in the game.
Has one of players who bought the book (the pokedex) it is crazy how to evolve it with different forms. Spinning it in what direction and for long. Not one of my favorites. But thank god for raids.
Honestly, Sirfetch'd was the easiest Pokemon on this list to evolve for me. I gave it a scope lens, used a dire hit, then spammed Fury Cutter on a steel type. The first three hits were crits
Give it a leek, buy a dire hit and attack those lv wobbafet! It’s so easy!
Same thing with me except I fought a rock type
Same thing but instend I used rock smash on a pokemon 10 levels higher! Couldn't get a leek as I got Farfench from a trade as I'm playing Shield!
Ayyyyuyy another Unova fannnn
Galarian farfetched is an easy catch and most of the time it’s holding a leek, don’t get why people think it’s so hard to do.
You forgot Milcery
First you give it an item and then you...
*spin me round right baby right round like a record baby rose from ground ground*
Lol true
Yes join me and will make you powerful
That is vastly oversimplifying it. There are 63 different forms of Alcremie, 70 if you count the shiny form. The item you give it determines the decoration, of which there are 7 options. Then the flavor is determined by the direction you spin, the duration of the spin, and the current time of day when you spin. There are 9 flavors that stem from these factors. The only exception is if it's a shiny Milcery, then the only thing that matters is the decoration you give it.
"As far as I know, there's no set in stone way to get the weather you want."
Most of the first days of each month in 2020 have set weather.
10/01/2020 is rain everywhere 🌧️ 😁
There is actually guaranteed days to change your clock to.
I leveled up milcrey to 60 because I didn’t know what to do
If you have one of the sweets that it holds to evolve it gives you a hint that 'milcery spins around happily' but that's literally all you get lol.
You need sweet and spin with the sweet
Trade pokemon. You need a friend. I've never heard of them so idk how to evolve my kadabra
If you are like me, you probably had 2 gameboys, DS or 3DS'es. Not 2 switches tough....

Well you can get a Razor Claw from the Digging Duo so you don't have to wait until the 6th gym
I feel like he didn’t play the games thoroughly.
You can also get the razor claw from the sellers in Stow-on side before you battle the gym there
I don't think you can. Checked every website I could and it doesn't say anywhere that you can get a razor claw from the digging duo.
Aight I searched everywhere on the internet, talked to the digging duo multiple times and I have yet to find any mention of them digging up a razor claw. Where'd you get this from? It doesn't seem to be a thing.
@@supermarioindia You know what, You're Completely Right I don't know where I took it from I just remember I got and I thought It was from the Digging Duo.

The trade evolutions? Find them in the over world! I found a Gengar in my Sword game which has a 2% spawn I guess? Or look for the Dynamax battles.
Yup. Have you learned about the Max Raid Hack? You can refresh the overworld pokemon by going into a max raid battle
1) Find a max raid den
2) Invite trainers to join battle
3) Hit the home button on your switch
4) Go to settings, system, date and time, and turn off internet sync
5) Move the date forward one day
6) Return to pokemon game and cancel max raid battle
Once you go back to the overworld, the game clock is reset and any special encounter pokemon will go back to their place in the wild area. This is useful for if and when you accidentally make the trade evolution pokemon faint and you don't want to wait a whole day to try and catch it again.
Actually gengar only spawns in a specific weather but I forgot what it was lol

I find that these unique evolutions add fun and variety to other Pokémon. I wish though that NPCs were more helpful in sharing hints on how to evolve them.

Another. Dude. Crying. It. Don't. Know. What. Friendship. Is...
Fine i'll explain. It's something you get when you get a friend, like in school and friend is someone you like. You can also get friends from Switch.
You can catch trade evolutions in the wild area
Sadly though gigantamax gengar and machamp are game locked
Except rhyperior
Aerozard The Kendrick Lamar fan max raid battles :(
yeah but the point is that people want to have the one pokemon in their party the whole game. not dump it for a randomly caught wild one they need to retrain
Tyler Thibodeaux Except you can catch them really early... and you will get enough candies looking for them to level them up to par with the rest of your team.

#ForeverAlone
I found a Galarian farfetch’d in a nuzlocke with a leek and managed to evolve it before Nessa with focus energy. It was pretty awesome and swept through the early game, but unfortunately died later on, because counter I think.
A lot of the Pokemon on this list can be found in the wild area for anyone having trouble evolving them (the evolved forms I mean)
Thank you.
hugo greed
No problem
A lot of these you can find in the wild, so I caught a lot of these easily.
I didn’t even know about the sirfetch evolution, mine just evolved lol
Good thing almost all the trades can be found in the wild and raids
To evolve Farfetch’d:
1. Get a leek
2. Find a Shuckle
3. Use weak moves till you get 3 crits
This is how I did it and it only took 1 try
Cool! Where is Shuckle?
Christopher Davis one of the caves in early game. I can’t remember which, but schuckle is not the most common Pokémon in it
IDK why this is so obscure, but if you use a Dire Hit, you may get the crits in a row! Until gen 8, the dire hit has been sooo overshadowed
I was expecting to see milacery on this list
*milcery
So I'm not sure if anyone else has said this, but SirFetched is actually much easier to get than you think. When you catch a galraian Farfetched There is a 50% chance that it will be holding a leek, This item will increase farfetches critical hit Chance by 50%. Also it has access to the move fury cutter a move that doesn't do a lot of damage but it has a very high critical hit chance already. I was able to get a leak after my second capture of a farfetchd And get into a battle with the wild stuffel. and surprise I was able to do three fury cutters in a row with little to no damage and get the three critical hits I needed. Not sure if this will work for everybody but it worked for me and my sword played through and I was able to get Sir fetched for my team and It became my favorite pokémon to use in my sword run
I think Togepi deserves a mention. Level up with happiness then use a shiny stone
How to easily evolve yamask.
1: catch the yamask
2: get the focus slash
3: find a high level pokemon in the wild area to bring you down to 1HP
4: use a poke doll
5: go under the rocks in the dusty bowl
6: there is no step #6 you already evolved it! 😀
Hope you found this useful!
Andrew Hill Number 3.5 use a poke doll
Oh yeah forgot that
Andrew Hill yeah just in case you aren’t able to escape
Ok thank you I just edited it
For Farfetch'd, I got in a Double Battle w/ Hop against Team Yell and used Brutal Swing. I got 3 Crits in just 1 attack. It was too easy
It was super simple for me. I caught it, battled a random trainer and BOOM! it evolved. It only like 5 minutes
For sir’fetched: I taught my farfetched focus energy and used a high crit ratio move. Was able to hit 3 crits in a row in on a bulky mon.
I thought evolving Farfetch'd would be harder but I did it my first attempt
"trade it with a friend" Bold of you to assume that we have a friend.
How to get sirfetched in 3 easy steps
1: Teach your farfetch'd a move with a high crit chance like leaf blade
2: Battle a steel type or one with a manageable type this depends on farfetch'd's lvl
3: Use dire hit to boost crit chance
If you follow these steps correctly the congrats you now have a sirfetch'd
Or just catch one holding a leek
SuperTommy64 I have shield version
10: Yeah, I agree.
9: I have the EXP Candy, just need the right nature...
8: Me, who used Froslass on my Sword Playthrough: What? The hard part was finding a Dawn Stone. Also all 3 can be found in Max Raids and Gallade specifically is a Strong Spawn.
7: *laughs in strong spawns and max raids*
6: *laughs in max raids*
5: Strong Spawns.
4: "What, I got it from Max Raid."
3: *laughs in max raid battles*
2: *laughs in leek and leaf blade tr* I used one in my Sword Playthrough.
1: *laughs in focus sash* I used one in my Shield Playthrough.
8:32 Haha! I laugh at that! My Galarian Farfetch’d evolved fairly quickly! I caught one that was holding a leek and it evolved and I didn’t even know the method of how to evolve it!!! I didn’t even find out till a bit later into the game when I was just looking up his moveset!!!
Simple way to evolve far fetched:
Find a metapod while having a lvl 1 farfetch’d,
Use focus energy then spam fury cutter...
I love the Inkay honorable mention. Such a great nod to a cute mon.
DJ Blue Bear personally think it should have been on the list, rather that just an honorable mention
MrBaconSlicez That is true, but still a lot of other mons are deserving and like all top ten lists. It wouldn’t be compelling if it was top twenty or eleven.
@@djbluebear2337 the trade evolutions can be found in the wild area. So it should've taken that spot
mmdd1996 except ones like ryhperior, some dont appear in the wild area, but still.
And easy to evole by put your switch upside down.
It's funny that i evolved my farfetch'd during my first battle. I just saved Focus Energy TR for him and this made evolving him heck easy.
"It needs to be a female to evolve"
Austinjohnplay: hold my beer.
I’m so happy that I was able to evolve my Farfech’d on my own!
I see sirfetched in the picture. I had no difficulty evolving him. Most farfetched have a leek as a gold item when caught. Teach it focus energy and you almost guarantee 3 chrits in a battle
you could also skip focus energy and go for Leaf Blade if you want
I didn't even teach if FE and it landed 3 crits back-to-back.
Its a crit machine, getting them isn't even that hard
Tip for finding Ralts ( because I caught a female ) once you encounter one in the rolling frills at overcast or foggy weather, their spawn rate increases by 5%
Everyone talks about how hard to evolve Yamask is but mine was a Yamsk for less than 5 minutes until I evolved it into Runerigas lmao
I think it's more about if you didn't already know how to evolve yamask, no way on earth I'd ever figure that shit out on my own 😂
samesame
Thing with Toxtricity is that mints won’t change the form either. Whatever it’s first nature was is the form it’s getting
You can get weavile earlier, you can buy a razor claw at the stow on side market
Pretty sure you can only get that after beating the game?
SuperTommy64 nope I got mine pre post game
bruh you knows that's a random chance right
[TB] Agent 8 oh market, thought you meant the pokecenter girl
SuperTommy64 You can also get it through the Digging Duo.
Straight up, I made sure my Farfetch'd was holding a leek, taught it Focus Energy, and it evolved after its first battle.

An easy tip on evolving your Galarian Farfetched, Fist make sure your Farfetched has a leak so it can get Crits easily, Then find a high level metapod and have it harden for a few turns, Finally attack it with a weak move until you get three crits, Then Kill it.
Broo first time seeing his full character
I have notifications on you should too
My Farfetch'd literally evolved the very first battle it was in, which was about 3-5 minutes after catching it. It was so easy!
You can catch most trade evolution in the wild area
Ok, the title clearly says to EVOLVE! Not to OBTAIN...
BTW, the first of every month makes every zone a certain weather type.
11/1 is thunderstorms
2/1 is snowstorm
6/1 is fog
7/1 is intense sun
ect.
I managed to evolve Farfetch’d into Sirfetch’d in the same route I caught it.
I still can't believe how lucky I got while leveling up my Sirfarfetch'd in one pokemon battle. Granted I think anyone trying to evolve this guy without a leek is nuts.
Evolved my sirfecthed today, so happy.
I had no idea about Sir Fetched, I was so surprised when mine evolved. It’s good to know how it evolved
For Farfetch’d, is it possible to hold a leek and use false swipe until you get three critical hits to evolve?
Bill Cipher aww that sucks. It would make it so easy to evolve
I genuinely didn't know how hard Farfetch'd was to evolve, I caught it and apparently crit'd 3 times on the same battle that it leveled up, so I just thought that it evolved from leveling lmao
Ralts is rare? I ran from one.....
unless it’s foggy in the wild area. they are frickin everywhere (atleast for me)
Before fog, it’s only at Overworld and it’s 2%
Sir fetched was easy.
Step 1 do a double trainer battle.
Step 2 give sit fetched dire hit with the other mon.
Step 3 make sure fetch has a leek. (Increases crit)
Step 4 use not very effective moves.
There ya go
@@dad4064 You don't need focus energy with a leek.
how dare you expect me to have friends
Let's be friends...
It’s all little hazy since it was kinda a long while ago maybe a couple weeks after SwSh came out, but I remember the pride I felt evolving my tyrogue into hitmontop because 1 it’s hard and 2 I LOVE hitmontop
Kinda surprised that alcreamie didn’t show uo
I mean you just have to spin to evolve so its not very hard
Thi-Antra Chirasarn not really. Just a bit of chance for getting the sweet you want
Gabe well for a lot of people you wouldn’t think you have to get a specific item and to spin a lot of times
Applin is also a crazy one for an unsuspecting player - you have to sacrifice it!
No? You don’t have to do that, you can find their respective apple in the Wild Area.
You need his item and you can find in Hammerlock City.
Can’t you catch the trade evolution Pokémon or am I wrong?
Yes you can, but I think they were going off how tough it is to actually evolve their pre-evolved forms. Granted it’s confusing because they made it sound like they just wanted to complete the Pokédex the entire time and not actually do the evolution.
KPBEvan _ lol I just caught the pre-evolved forms and evolved them to second evolution, and when I caught the final form, I released the other one
Well you can catch most of them. Beside the fairy type and bug type duo.
The fact that I was quoting how to evolve Mamoswine the same time he was has made me realize I use Mamoswine way more often than I thought lmao.
This has to be one this channels laziest video ideas and executions... almost all of these evolutions are made extremely easy to obtain in this game minus the version exclusive trade evolutions like Slurpuff/Aromatisse and Escavalier/Accelgor.
I was going to say some of the trade evolutions are available in the wild area and raids
Slurpuff and Escavalier found in Sword and
Aromatisse and Accelgor found in Shield
Verison Exclusives Raids
Bruh runerigus and sirfetched are a bitch to get
@@theangledsaxon6765 Well I'd say Runerigus is more obscure than a bitch, it's real easy if you know what you need to do.
@@numberhunter62 yea yamask is EASY to evolve farfetched tho...
I evolved my Snorunt to Froslass since I got two Dawn Stones early and catching Snorunt early in the wild area
I’m sad that while you were putting music for every number you didn’t put Stow-On-Side music
I have to be honest. Malamar's evolution method is both the weirdest and best evolve method in my opinion.
Goodra should be a posion dragon type
SparonWolf X I’d say a water dragon type
Tip: to evolve a farfetch'd in the easy way is to catch a farfetch'd holding a leek and then go battle a wobbuffet which can be located at the same route where you catched a farfetch'd.
Or just go I the wild area and find the evolved forms lol
1.) Breed farfetch'd with ditto
2.) Get level 1 farfetch'd
3.) Use tr focus energy
4.) Find a metapod
5.) Harass metapod
😳
I was able to evolve 1&2 on my own
I manage to find a female shiny salandite just a few days ago and I’m so happy about it
Okay so I found/seen like all these trade evolutions in the wild area
Yeah but I would not want a random Gengar I caught I would want a gasty I hatched with perfect ability and egg moves also if it's shiny no way I'm giving that up. Also since their is no gts anymore you can't trade with yourself and one console which sucks. They really need to ether have a npc that trades and trades back your Pokemon in game or have a trade back feature in online like you put huanter with the trade back and it trades and automatically trades back Pokemon so people can keep their Pokemon.
shadowwizard 23 They have raids for that... also a Pokémon can only have one ability at a time not more than one.
@@kpbevan_904 yeah I miss typed I fixed it and what do you mean they have raids for that
shadowwizard 23 Max Raid Battles allow you to catch Pokémon like Gengar who are trade evolutions with their Hidden Abilities assuming that’s what you want, potential egg moves, as well as the potential to be shiny.
@@kpbevan_904 while that is really cool and I love the Max raid battles. I personally rather raise a onix with the moves/ability/nature I want then get a metal coat and have a way to trade evole and get my steelix back to continue raising it. Their just need to be a way to trade with yourself again or to get back your Pokemon automatically after trades and hopefully it is easier.
I got sirfetch’d in the first battle. My farfetch’d had a leek when I caught it so the crit-rate was higher.
Actually there is a way to get the weather you want.
Go to Austin johns video, how to change the weather.
One of the easiest methods I found the surface of it to give farfetched choice specs and to look for a Metapod in the wild area
First
I love your top tens bro keep it up great job
Love how you put skitty and wailord next to each other
I quite like evolutions not being so simple. It be nice if they did more strange evolutions but have info available on each in summary or maybe a person you can talk to.
For anyone looking for a sirfetch’d.
Here’s an easy guide, get a farfetch’d from the wild area, make sure it has a leak and knows leaf blade.
Find a durant and hit it three times. Every hit should crit so all you need to do is capture it and you’re done.
as a shield player without a leek, evolving farfetch'd was annoying.. but a dire hit + razor claw did wonders in the end
For the trade evos you can get all of them apart from Accelgor and Arommatize in Sword and Escavlier and Slurpiff in Shield
MysticUmbreon: Explaining stuff
Me: WOAH! A SHINY DRAGAPULT!!
Fun fact if your farfetch'd dies and you already got two crits you can revive it, get another crit and it'll still evolve
You can find gengar, machamp, gigalith, trevenant, gourgeist and aromatisse in the wild area
As well as escavalier and accelgor
Thankfully in Sword and Shield, pokemon such as Hitmontop, Gengar, Gallade, ECT can strong spawn in the wild area, so it takes a small load off of the Pokedex completion task
I disagree with Sirfetch’d. A wild Farfetch’d has a 50% rate to hold the Leek which increases his crit rate by 2 stages. And he also has access to Focus Energy. And on top of that, he can learn Leaf Blade.
I got three crits in one battle using all that.
Stick/focus energy plus leaf blade/night slash has 100% crit chance
Parallel Archaos Exactly. That’s why it’s not hard to evolve Farfetch’d
