Really: They currently run at $80,000 if they are in near mint condition with the engine hours low, records in tact and perfect. This one needs a lot of help and major upgrades. Anyone that gives a survey of this boat over 40,000 is nuts. Last six 33 listed in the mid 70,000 as well but not a one sold over 42,000. This is a boat built super cheap with multiple switches of manufacturers in Taiwan and cheap parts from China. Sorry I realize your a broker but this boat need to come out of the water to find all the soft spots that its known for.
@@smyers8535 Beware the fake accounts set up by the broker to say how great this dog really is. You guys do realize that your accounts are linked. Genius. You really should learn about computers before you fake people out.
You do realize that all these comments of how great this boat is are from accounts with one comment and have zero history. If you are that desperate to sell it then at least be honest about it. This boat needs a good amount of help and updates to be a cruiser. If you want it to sit in the marina your just weird.
The other thing is these boats sail like a rock. Slow and sluggish. Have extremely high maintenance issues and the teak is a maintenance issue every few months. The brass windows always leak and they are notorious for bad fiberglass and soft spots. I have had two friends that owned one over the years both sold them for a major loss. Real word price is 20 to 30 thousand and a year in dry dock if you still work a job! Thats the God's honest truth here. Let's not sugar coat it.
I have been looking for a boat for a year now its about time i would like to see this boat in person in order to possibly make a reasonable cash offer.
These Harwood Ives 33's are fantastic boats, way better use of interior space than the less common Bob Perry HC 34', And I think a better boat with slightly less beam and a smaller cockpit. Hans Christians are GREAT offshore boats.
This is a good show but has no poop love the H. C. 33 lacking much information. Probably not really for sale give it a thumbs up for the video access to info a two or thumbs down.
Your kidding right! This boat is a dog. Full of manufacturers problems , engine failure, electronics all need to be replaced. The solar is totally inadequate and the inside needs to be completely revamped.
Nice! Sort of random but if this boat needs a new bowsprit I recently built one for a Hans Christian 43' and could provide some insight ... this video is still on private, but you can view with this link: ruclips.net/video/OAwWTmDH7k4/видео.html

Oh, the varnishing. This is a boat for someone with lots of time on their hands. Beautiful vessel, nevertheless.
or money!
Hey! Great video! Question, how long are the berths in an HC33? I'm 6'4", so a little choosey!
my brother in law is 6'5" and lives in one with plenty of headroom as well as room in the berths. Check out SV Prism
@@sailingavocet Awesome! thanks!
Stunning!!!👏👋👏👋👏👋
Red flag 🚩!! Screwed down teak decks are a deal killer; if they haven’t failed yet, they will, and you’ll be in for a world of hurt $$$....

Refrigerator.
Klunky, slow. And pricy.
Yyy
Almost 45 is a little bit too old for my wallet. I'll pay for what I can afford and go sailing now.
