Wow! Everything is AMAZING!! That is sad that she was so ready to let go of those heirlooms. I guess some people are not very sentimental and don’t see the value in old things.
What beautiful amazing pieces, I especially love the 14K chain! With the half sterling half gold ring I have a similar one at home and I researched and read that sometimes they set the stones in sterling as its sturdier than gold.

Your garnet earrings are antique 835 sterling that someone had reset into modern 14K posts. Unfortunate but the person obviously didn’t realize they were damaging an antique and thought they were doing a good thing.

wow what a haul. My birthstone is garnet and I can never find a ring that I like. That one with the dark color is beautiful. Wow bet some family will be disappointed those were not passed down. I have a lot of my grandmothers things . So many old things are unique and beautiful. Where do you sell ? I am new and already have 12 plus boxes full that I plan to sell just looking for a place easy to sell on as I am up in age. nothing to difficult LOL . love the amethyst bracelet and ring also . so many neat stuff. how wonderful
