Those pearl + sterling necklaces with the unusual clasps -- I got one of those for a dollar a while back. I was unable to find out much about it, so I listed it for $50 I think, and it sold really fast. So I think it was something super special and someone got a steal of a deal for $50. The two pearl necklaces at the end seem like they could be linked together to make one long strand, the stations are very unique and beautiful but almost like there could be more versatility or mix and matching with a collection.
I hope you get the pearls checked on the last two necklaces, they are way to uniform in size to be cheap pearls, they have to be something good with that quality of fabrication of the necklaces. They are stunningly lovely. You have such a good eye.
back in the 70's there was apopular fashion making mother's jewelry and the gem stones used would be the birth stone of each of her children, I have my mother's I always wanted to add my younngest brotehr to it but she died before I was able to add teh gem ston e to her mother's ring
I have a great deal of costume jewelry that came from grandmother and great aunt. Do people still wear clip on earrings? I also have many brooches and necklaces. Not sure what todo with them. Do old jewelry boxes have any value?
