Robert Lopez, THANK YOU for your testimony in this documentary. I was saved out of homosexuality at age 26. Three years later I started a four year time at Southwestern Seminary. It saddens me greatly to see what has taken place since I finished in 1988. I am a missionary in Malawi, Africa for now 18 years (not with the SBC). Woke Christendom is rampant here, especially the God is love prosperity success version. The gospel of the kingdom is basically unknown here in a professing "Christian" nation.

Thank you for your strong stand and your advice to parents sending their young adults to bible college and seminary. That bit needs to be trumpeted over and over -- we seem so powerless to root this out of the SBC and its seminaries but the $$ from tuition can be effective, that and speaking out!

I’m so glad I found this… my daughter was at a Baptist Christian school.. they starting implementing a curriculum with social justice concepts and ideologies. We left! It’s not just in the church folks it’s in the PRIVATE schools now! This is in Georgia at least. :(

Jesus literally watched the poor widow give EVERYTHING she had to the church, and didn’t cause her to become wealthy. The Gospel is not a philosophy of temporal equality - it’s a statement of historical fact: Jesus died on the cross for the sin of the world, was buried in the grave and raised from the dead 3 days later: repent and believe in the Gospel!

It is true people were born gays, just everyone was born a sinner. But that is no excuse to remain a sinner or gay in the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which offers a salvation through being born again in the Holy Spirit. We can all have a new life in Christ free from bondage.

When the God-breathed, sufficient Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17) is not your foundation as a Christian, then you will slowly, then increasingly, violate Proverbs 3:5 and Colossians 2:8. That is what is happening in many of the church denominations and seminaries when it comes to the social justice/woke ideology. If we think we need something more than the truth of God's Word that sanctifies us (John 17:17), then there will be dangerous consequences in the preaching/teaching by Christian leaders. The SBC is a prime example of this already happening.

I’m not a Southern Baptist but any institution that support and spread Western Christian Values. The values on which this, the best of all possible worlds, was built. Look, the movements that underwrite their ethos with CRT have a weakness. These Cultural Marxist movements are predominately provincial in nature. The panacea to thwart these bad idea might be found through Universalism and an outward looking approach. In South America, across in Southern India, The Philippines, Eastern Europe, even China there are plenty of sensible conservative Christians. Uniting with Catholics, Orthodox and Protestants who uphold the True Gospel is the way forward. A lot of good could come out of such a large union of spiritual, reliable people across Globe. Peter, take a look at what is coming out of the papacy, and you should come to a different conclusion regarding the uniting with Catholicism. The Pope is declaring that virtually all will be saved, he is embracing same sex marriage, he says Moslems, Hindus, Buddhist and other non-Christian religions will go to Heaven. This is the beginning of One World Religion ushering in the Anti-Christ and the Beast. He has also said that to share the gospel, to evangelize shouldn't be done by Christians. How can one obey the Great Command without sharing the gospel?

This is 70 years too late. Carl McIntire wrote and preached extensively on communism within the churches, much of it through the Federal Council of Churches (now National Council of Chruches). His work was available online until recently. Too bad, another canceled truth.

This is what happened to the Pharisees and Sadducees in the past, they compromised according to their benefit, corrupted scripture and lost the honorable role God gave them because they rejected the truth. Now we have these so -called shepherds corrupting holy scripture. The saddest thing and scariest thing is the lack of fear that they have and the non-realization that one day they will have to stand before a Holy God and answer for there actions!
I have a question in regards to the documentary. I've a heart to see justice done in this country and it's what informed the activism in the 90s. I've always believed that Christians should get involved in our culture and not sit idly by. Unfortunately, I was living in the Southwest part of the US and ran into a lot of ultra conservatives and was told Christians have no business getting innvolved in politics. I was dubbed a liberal becuse of that.
I was not exposed to Marxism, at the time. Does this documentary goes into the details on what I ran into? I've actually found the above idea troubling and an invitation to evil. It's why I'm suspicious of both the woke Left and pious Conservtives. Love to get feedback on this issue.

Never once did Paul preach about correcting the injustices of man outside of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Not once does the gospel of Jesus Christ promise justice in this life.
In fact, it promises quite the opposite:
“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. But all these things they will do to you on account of my name, because they do not know him who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me hates my Father also. If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin, but now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
If you see someone who needs help, is struggling, is being treated unfairly, go and stand with him/her calling out the injustice(s) against them and helping them as you would help yourself and tell them to look at Jesus for all their needs.

It seems you're saying that Christians should not get involved in the issues of justice; rather we should abstain from it. Just focus on sharing the Gospel and not speak up on the issues facing our neighbors.
I do hope you're not saying that we should ignore the teachings in the Old Testament. Have you not read where Jesus says that "We're to love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength" It's followed by "Love your neighbor, as yourself" The Royal Laws sums up what is taught in the Scriptures; better known as the Old Testament. Scripture does speak clearly on the need for BIBLICAL justice and how it differs from man's idea of justice.
Did you happen to catch the narrator's story about being to pious and its tragic results? It's because of this refusal to get involved that led to an open door for destructive Marxist teachings. How is that working out for you?
It seems you are okay with forced mandates, abortion or anything else that goes against the Word of God. I say this because you do not think Christians should get involved in what's happening.

I will say that the wording Dhati chooses in the chapter mentioned at 10:04 of missing “a key component of the gospel: restoration through The Great Requirement” is problematic, but not necessarily for the same reason. He inaccurately says that we’ve reduced the Gospel to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment, but it would be more accurate to argue that we have failed at the great commission and commandment. If you love the Lord your God with everything and your neighbor as yourself, you would necessarily be engaging in the type of loving, sacrificial, community-changing light that Dhati is emphasizing that the Bible teaches. And if you make disciples who don’t show their faith by their works, you have not made disciples of Jesus at all

This just seems like a church split drama. I've been on both sides of similar church issues. FBC Naples seems to still be adhering to the gospel and biblical truth. There is no evil in asking people to examine their hearts toward those who are different from ourselves.

Wow, when did the gospel become so complicated that the common parishioner needs a theologians degree to get through all of this? WOKE has not enlightened me, but discouraged me. Call me simple minded but the divisiveness that continues to separate the Body of Christ (all demonization's) continues throughout "social pragmatism" this video included. Does social injustices exist and unknowingly within a kind heart? Of course, a white experience for other races cannot be truly appreciated until experienced throughout similar oppression. Does this mean we cannot retrieve God's inerrant word and move forward or that we should not strive to move as Christ's body? This is an very old story...and apparently not just 40 years worth of, now moving into 4000 years later...I find it depressive that we haven't learned a single thing.
