      Saadet Öztürk, you didn’t know your Catholic faith or you wouldn’t have left it. Catechesis has been poor for decades so that is understandable. It makes so much sense when you delve into it. I promise. Plus it is so much more. I challenge you to give it a fair shot.

    ISTP here. My view on Christianity is like this God, three parts, Father, Holy Spirit, Son. which represents physical world, mental world, and spiritual world. Father is creation; matter, energy, nature, patterns, cycles, systems, our physical actions etc. Holy Spirit is knowledge, understanding, ideas, problem solving, creativity, adaptability etc. The Son is Love, respect, good relationships between people, friendships, support, kindness etc. simple, no magic/mysticism. This concept works well for me. Helps to avoid Sin which is basically the opposite of those..... physical world...obsessions, addictions, destruction, not taking care of ourselves, indulging. mental world.... assumptions, misconceptions, doubts, negative thinking, misunderstanding. spiritual world.... mistreating others, stereotypes, looking down on others, disrespect, abuse, blame, insult, taking advantage of others.

    I reckon that Ti Dom may be more inclined to question authority (esp. religious figureheads) more than other mbti types but it's not a given that they may be a-religious. If the whole religion structure makes sense to an ISTP and (s)he finds it interesting and logically consistent, they may be very into it.

    • @GuessWhoAsks
      @GuessWhoAsks 2 года назад

      I agree with most of your reasoning except the "logically consistent". I am having difficulty with that term, as religions need to use logical fallacies to support its claims.

    Yeah, but what makes something corrupt is based on a morality and where does morality come from and can you have an objective morality without a morally capable being setting/defining that morality? Idk just thinking. I agree on the Descartes quote. I definitely exist but in what way could be debatable but most likely not in any serious way and not very productively.

    • @GuessWhoAsks
      @GuessWhoAsks 2 года назад

      What do you base your morality on? If a morally capable being allows slavery, does that make slavery moral?

      @@GuessWhoAsks oh yeah, I was just thinking, looking at a different angle. Personally, I actually believe in a Christian God. And I don’t think you understand my comment on capability. I wasn’t saying any capable being should define morality. I was saying that maybe if objective morality exists it points to there being a being capable of setting that morality. At least I think that’s what I meant… I didn’t rewatch the video and I don’t remember a year ago…

    With Almighty, Eternal, and Creator as the only definitions of "God" it is not a logical conclusion to say there is no God in light of physics and astrophysics. As to the character of this God, ie religion, i don't think there's any way to logically deduct what religion is true. But if God is real, he would be actually real of course. Meaning just as real as the world we live in and the people we enteract with. Because of this, if God is real one could theoretically encounter God and get to know him in the same relational aspect as you would any person. To call this person that claims to have an encounter with God delusional would be an arrogant statement as you are stating factually in spite of your ignorance of everything in the Universe that God is definitely not real. Which you don't know. Chears!😊

      @@yoshiperspectives4880 You did not a logical argument..What do you believe and why should anyone else think your belief is true?...everything else is you just trying to blow smoke up someone's arse. Your definition of god included "Creator"...I reject that claim until you can demonstrate that to be true...Not a logical argument....a claim without proof.

    • @yoshiperspectives4880
      @yoshiperspectives4880 2 года назад

      @@GuessWhoAsks You rejecting a creator is like you rejecting an author to a book but instead thinking the book wrote and published itself. It's a rediculous claim without any evidence. Without any evidence it is most reasonable to assume there was an author who wrote the book. So also is believing a creator created this well desined world we live in in the absence of proof. Despite this, there is much proof to it being created according to many archeological findings, but It's not my job to present these evidences to some random person on youtube that thinks books write themselves and universes create themselves without any evidence. It's an absurd belief that requires much proof and explanation. So on the contrary, i reject that claim until you can demonstrate it to be true... not a logical argument... a claim of a book without an author; a universe without a creator without any proof.

    • @GuessWhoAsks

      You as a theist make claims that you have answers, so you need to prove that you are not wrong. I am not convinced any of the claims which I have been provided are true which is what atheism(not theist) means and asking what proof you have that your claims are true? You are making a lot of claims without providing good evidence to support them. I am not making claims. I dont know if your god exists, so I ask questions to get to the truth...Why can't you answer them?

  • @GuessWhoAsks
    @GuessWhoAsks 2 года назад

    Agnostic addresses a lack of knowledge but does not address "belief"...Gnostic = knowledge....Theistic = belief. Either you are a theist and believe one of the many god claims or you are not yet convinced which makes you not yet a theist....in english the prefix a- means “not” or indicates a negation...in other words...unless you are convinced of any of the many god claims...you are an atheist....which does NOT mean you claim none of the gods could exist....just means you are not convinced until there is good evidence that any of the claims are true. Why can't you explain what you use to filter out false claims from true claims?

    • @GuessWhoAsks
      @GuessWhoAsks 2 года назад

      good evidence...not faith, as you can have faith in anything and therefore it is not useful if you want to distinguish true from false.
