The dots have changed my flower art. I actually draw my flowers in soft pencil first to give each petal a unique shape then add dots in 3 different places on each petal and it is pure magical each time. Thank you for this dot idea!!!❤🥰😘

I used to watch your videos years ago when I first started exploring art on RUclips. Then I got really into acrylic painting. This year found a desire to explore watercolour too and, to my surprise, I've found you again. Enjoyed this, hope you do all sorts of different things, bunches, butterflies, animals maybe. (Personally, I don't just like doing flowers.) I love that you take your daughter on a bit of a nature scoot on the way to school instead of always riding in the car, that is so good in many ways. Here at home (Dorset UK) we have had a pair of blackbirds in the garden who have produced 4 clutches this year, we have had baby birds galore, beautiful.

So, so beautiful-your entire video!!! YES, keep chatting about life. That little birdie video is just too sweet! I JUST last night tried this technique. I don’t even have the right paper or brushes. What I struggle with is getting the shape of the petals to look like, well, petals. They don’t narrow toward the center like yours so naturally do. But it’s such fun, so I’ll keep trying. That color combination IS delicious! I think I’m addicted to your channel and I just discovered you. 🤩🌸 Thank you for sharing your self and your talents with the world. 💕

Just checking on the brushes you were using from your list and your brush with the blue handle/white bristles looks nothing like the ones with bamboo handles/brown hair in your Amazon link. Confused!
I Love your pallette idea,
I have started looking for tiny mint tins,
(grand neices, get the sweets).. and my favorite has a picture of Bob Ross,which has the , label that says something like, "Happy lttle green tree mints" 😂
..I use these tiny tins, for favorite 2-4 colors combos...and then pop one in my pocket, for doing art in the park,when ...I see flowers or birds, plants etc. That catch my eye... on our walks, at the park.
My dog gets to snooze and I paint for a bit.
..Of course, I get unusual colors of trees birds and flowers, (depending on which little tin, I grab😂).
...But,It is challenging and fun to be " limited" by only those colors that day.
...and since they are combo's,I picked out, I think they are always pretty and make cute card fronts, or just little pictures.
Plus,I ordered a special flat brush, like you said.... It makes the flowers really, really look great!, ...thank you!🎉..Loved the little bird and your hubby's idea of slowing down and looking, ...I am just learning that at almost 70,which started me... on taking, a little tin, a couple of water brushes, and a 5×5 watercolor sketch book.

To flatten paper lightly spray the back with water and press on a paper towel with weight on top. I have two heavy plastic cutting boards that I press the painting between.
It’s OK to touch and pick up baby birds. Birds have a very poor sense of smell. Instead, they react to the open mouth called gaping, and they feed anything, any kind of baby that is a thing for food. I could not see the baby in the video, but if you find a baby bird that has some feathers on it, but you can tell he doesn’t have all of his feathers then he’s doing exactly what he’s supposed to be doing. This is how they fledge. The baby is on the ground and the adult will fly down and very quickly feed the baby and then fly back away so you wanna leave them alone. BUT, if you find a baby bird, that does not have any feathers, then you have an emergency. If you could put him back in the nest that is preferable. If not, then you need to find a wildlife Rehabber as quickly as possible. They know how to feed and what to feed, baby birds. Do not try to feed the baby with milk and bread or any of the other really horrible things that people think baby bird should eat. If you do that, the baby will die. To find a rehabber do a search online, call your local Humane Society and animal control - these should be able to tell you where the closest Rehabber is. Meanwhile, keep the baby warm and just remember that you don’t have much time to save this baby.
