I like the glass clinking! It's calming. Beautiful painting!
Thank you Sherri and I’m glad you find the clinking calming instead of annoying. I find it kind of calming too🥰

That’s great! My mom was 82 when she started painting 😊
I miss her and her art 💔
I like the glass tinking, soundslike little birds. 🐦
I'm sitting here watching you while I scratch my dog's head. Then she heard a dog barking in the video and thought it was here so she took off barking in the other room.😂
I'm not much of an artist and mostly do cartoons but these look so beautiful I just have to buy myself some watercolor paints and brushes. You have inspired me.❤
Beautiful, and just two colours! Simply pretty.

Best video I’ve seen on that roll and drag technique Erin! Thanks for taking your time and showing this in a way that makes sense. Can’t wait to give this a go. Very much enjoying your glass clinking, 😂. Truly, it’s familiar and I like it. Plus, I’m loving your narrative especially when you know there’s too much of anything and how you go about fixing it. You’re a wealth of technical information and I’m very appreciative. Blessings to you!
Oh Rita, thank you so much😊
Glass clinking can be comforting can’t it; part of the wonderful process of watercolour painting😉 I’m happy to hear that you find my narrative helpful; it is very encouraging for me to receive such positive feedback! Thank you so much😊🙏🏼

I loved drawing and painting when I was younger but didn’t start watercolour until I was just a couple of years younger than you and that was only back in 2020😁
You will love it! I can’t paint right now because my back is extremely bad but I hope you can enjoy some of my existing tutorials until I am able to start back up again

Just discovered your channel. Lovely rendering. Beautifully demonstrated. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
So pretty. So delicate.
You're really good at Less Is More and do it with such a Light and Gentle Touch...,which is always my problem.
Thank you Jennifer 😊 I definitely struggle with keeping things light myself so every now and then I make a point of trying to focus on a lighter touch
Amazing!!!!
Thank you, I’m glad you liked it!😊
I've just subscribed to you and been watching some of your videos. Really enjoying the way you paint, love these loose florals, this is how I would like to paint but I love painting tiny details. 🤷You also have a very soothing voice, very easy to listen too. 😊
Oh thank you so much Kathleen 😊😊
I enjoy loose and detail so I try to do a variety. Thank you so much for subscribing! I haven’t been able to paint recently because of a bad back but hope to be back it it very soon!!

Thank you so much Kay! More videos coming for sure!😊
Love this technique. Can't wait to see more. Do you have a play list where I can find more?
Thank you so much.
Thanks so much Ann🥰 I’m so glad you liked it! I do have a play list with other beginner abstract florals here:
ruclips.net/p/PLH2bnAEJU6ao75ZE5_DR73JRb7jHTUDbY&si=XbRRGhFFt2889xPD
I’m going through some health issues right now and, sadly, haven’t been able to paint in months so hopefully this play list will have a few you will like until I get back at it. I also have play lists for loose beginner florals and others too. I hope you check them out and find them helpful🥰
You make it look so easy
Thank you Bonnie😊
Thanks!
Oh how nice of you! I really appreciate your super thanks!!😊😊
Очень красиво.
Thank you!😊
Beautiful, simple, & easy for beginners like me. Why do you "roll" your brush while you are "dragging" the paint as opposed to just "dragging" It? Thank you for your tutorials.
Thank you Denise! I’m so sorry for such a delayed response; I’m dealing with some health issues, but hoping to be back painting.
The rolling just catches the paint on one edge and leaves a ‘slightly’ harder line on the other so it gives a nice definition between the petals with a little more control rather than blending the whole area of fresh paint. I explain it in more detail in this video starting around the 16 minute mark if you want to check it out. I hope that helps😊

I just can’t get it. Lol. Been painting for 4 months now. Will I ever catch on?
Oh yes! Of course! Just play and have fun and it will click 😊
