She performs every song as if she was actually in the situation, saying and feeling the words for the first time. Her joy is apparent between songs. However she can go from laughing with a big smile, to a heartbreaking frown, as soon as the song begins! She obviously has the ability to place herself emotionally in the situation, even having sung the song hundreds if not thousands of times before. In addition to being one of the best vocalists alive if not ever, I think Beth would be a great actress!
How about one of the best blues guitars out there period. Why preface it with the fact she is female. I have seen many people, male and female, playing the blues and she is as good as any of them.
