Yep she left, he treated her good but she left and he didn't know what he did wrong. Sometimes we are left and we did nothing wrong and it is very heart breaking and it makes us wonder what we did wrong. One of the 80's all time greats for sure.
the perfect song for the end of this era of music
by the time he did this song, his voice was being affected by those screams he would do. He ended up having 7 throat surgeries and a paralyzed left vocal cord. Tom Keifer the lead singer “I was thinking about how great life was and how sad I would be if [the success] all went away,” They lost 2 band members one to cancer who played the keyboard for the band and Jeff LaBar who was the guitarist with the dark hair, he was in the nobody's fool videos.
Tom was imo truly unique because his voice was so different than most of the hair bands
@@dougfarrer1693 I agree! Some people assume he had to have those surgeries due to hard, rock star living but it's not true. His doctor's saiid it was most likely a virus in his vocal cord. He is amazing!!🎸🎤💕
My dad was a roadie for Cinderella and was close to Jeff during those years (but mostly Tom and Eric) but he was with them through all those nights and cried a bit learning about his death recently. My dads last time with them was ‘95 in Alantic city. He met them in ‘88 in Philadelphia - where we (my dad and me) are from. My dad is on the album ‘night songs’ on the back, under road crew, called “Mr groovy” cause my dad use to say “groovy” a lot and it caught on with them. The other members of the road crew my dad talks to (some of them) to this day off and on. I was born in 2001 my dads last real interaction with Cinderella was in 1995 as a will call because they were in town. He got to work then them that last night again and they asked him to stay but he decided not to..
@@nicholegallo1090 wow that's fantastic and sad too. Cinderella was so underrated I believe. The talent of all the group was impressive. Tom was a powerhouse with that voice. You and your dad have some incredible memories.

They DO make them like this. The European scene is chock full of great, young, successful bands of this kind. If you're a US resident, don't let domestic radio fool you so you miss out on all the incredible talent that keeps this great sound alive in the present day. I urge you to go on a RUclips expedition and check out the likes of H.E.A.T., Crashdîet, Inglorious, Crazy Lixx, Nestor, Eclipse, Brother Firetribe, White Widdow (OK, they're Australian), Gathering Of Kings, Night Flight Orchestra ... trust me, they're out there, and they're GOOD.
@@erikthompson619 Don’t give me wrong there is a few groups here in the states that are really good but haven’t had that break yet on as you put it Domestic radio. But hopefully the groups that are overseas start that push like they did before because Rock needs to make that Ultimate Come Back..

Tom Kiefer is top 3 hair metal vocalist in my opinion. He carried Cinderella with his guitar solos not to mention the piano.
Tom never considered the band to be Hair Metal. Just Rock-n-Roll.

Love is a two way street. Some just arent willing to compromise and stick it out. Im going through a divorce right now because im not the same guy i was before 6 spine surgeries and a nuero stimulator in my neck. I saw myself growing old with her but now she is with someone else and we arent even divorced yet. Tore my heart out and stomped on it like im useless. The tears never stop falling when you love someone more than anyone else and you would willingly give your own life for them. Great song choice
I’m so sorry for all you’ve gone through. Unfortunately I am with ya on the spine surgeries. I had 9 in 4 months and there are no words for what a person goes through with multiple spine surgeries. The woman that is meant for you will come along. Sending you hugs for all the pain you’ve endured both physically and mentally.

Those are the pains that nobody sees but you feel. Ecscrusiating pain every day of your life and only those who have gone through it and are going through it can understand. It completely ruins your life. I am so sorry you are having to go through this too. I believe in the ones upstairs and i will pray for you. I know i will take any prayer i can get! Lol! @@bruceborneman Oh sweetie, thank you! I will pray for you as well. I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy. I’ve had 30 surgeries in my life and these back surgeries are worse than all the others combined.
@@tite7890 when i had my L5 S1 fused that was the first time i found out what a panic attack was. And from complications 5 years out from that surgery your SI joints can get inflamed to the point of needing two new hips which is where im at. Its like you are falling down a hill and cant stop. Good times!!! Lol!!!!
