It’s funny how cyclical this outrage is. The unhappiness with the game reaches a fever pitch every few years, and they always placate the masses with a single thing, the only thing they release that is quality: an occult pack. Because the occult packs are popular and the only content they release that’s well done and usually bug-free is occult packs. It happened with vampires, it happened with spellcasters, and it happened with werewolves. My guess is now that the community is very vocally upset with the game, they will announce an occult pack in the next few weeks. Pin this message, I guarantee you it’s coming.
The only occult I could see them adding is fairies and given how long simmers have been begging for fairies I guarantee they'll go for that and everyone will immediately go radio silent about the issues that won't be touched. Now, if they add a new occult that ISN'T fairies, I can also see people getting even more upset than they are with just the bugs and take it as EA ignoring their audience yet again. What’s the point? Simmers get angry and then still give their money to EA. Last time, when they released the jewelry merch people where pissed because the game was broken with the new stuff pack. But the merch sold out immediately. So simmers have proved to EA that no matter how much the game sucks and how much they messed up the gameplay, they are still going to give them their money willingly. Lol
You do realize that there are people who follow Sims drama and then some people just play the games. Not everyone knows how bad the problems are until their game breaks then they care. there are new simmer who join the community every day, that's who's buying the packs. Plus the people making content on it who don't get it for free. They won't stop playing because it pays them money and people love a pack review or overview of the items.

I'm just gonna say this. Pirated version have access to all online features and also get all DLCs and updates basically on the day of release (You can use official base game + cracked DLCs and get updates directly from EA App or crack whole game and use additional app to update it) Only downside is that either way you need to create a new EA account, so your main one won't get banned (It basically never happens, but still) The person who develops it even have a website where you can download the game/DLCs without any torrents, so there's no need for a VPN or anything like that. OF COURSE I WOULD NEVER ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO PIRATE A GAME but hey, EA don't give a damn about fixing their underdeveloped DLCs, so what's the point of paying for them.
I didn't realize how bad the issues were with not fixing bugs until I started playing baulders gate 3. Before, I just figured, "oh, it takes a bit to fix stuff, there's probably a lot on their plate". No. Seeing bg3 and larian studios as an example of a company that actually cares about the game and community, the sims team has been taking advantage of their players too much. They don't care. If they did, they would fix their game and put actual care into their EXPENSIVE packs. Larian by comparison, constantly updates the game and pays a lot of attention to feedback from players, INCLUDING NON-PC PLAYERS.
Because they push this game on a hurry and made it a spagetti code right from the beginning... This was meant like this and not meant to hold for so long...
They built The Sims 4 for multiplayer, then the disaster of SimCity5 being online only, made them reverse that decision, but they couldn’t rebuild the sims 4 from the ground up. So it’s built on an already extremely limited and garbage engine.

Console player here, rotating a house in build mode or rotating a copied roof piece no longer works. It hasn't for months. The button that used to rotate it now starts cycling through the menu along the top of the screen. It's frustrating.
The glitch where any time you go into cas/reload the game whatever book/song your sim was working on reset to 0 progress. Spent in game WEEKS trying to write one book just to find out with my sims daughter songwriting is just as glitched :). I totally forgot about the weed problem too! I have to remove the plant then completely replant the whole thing
my sims have NEVER been able to sell a song. never. not once. I've never gotten the home decorator pack to work neither(the career), never once. Its all so frustrating

I haven’t played since that update where people’s saves started corrupting, I’m basically waiting for them to be done with the sims 4 until I play again cause every time they patch something there’s 1000 worse problems and they don’t even patch the most pressing issues
I finally gave it up 4 months ago. It just got so bad in quality, expensive, and unplayable (crashing) that I finally quit playing the game all together. I get my fix from Stardew now. It’s such a shame, but you’re right, EA will never change their approach until they loose money and people stop buying it. Hopefully other studios come out with similar games and respect consumer interest.
I haven't paid for a pack or kit since the Wedding Stories disaster and I won't until they listen to the community instead of the sound of money going into the bank account.
I’ve actually started playing sims 2 over sims 4 😭 The gameplay is so much better, I don’t get how Sims 4 doesn’t even have things as simple as taxis coming outside the door.
Ill be honest the sims 2 was awsome, but I like the approach of the sims 4 on certain system a little better, its updated, but the sims 2 had much more small details that make all the difference for sure. I dont play the sims 2 no more, there are things I am missing from sims 4, believe it or not, but I totally get what you mean and I always said sims 2 is the best sims game ever... sims 3 is not even close.
Well, people better start paying attention to the system requirements and understanding their own PC configuration. If you’re having a hard time running Sims 4, you’ll for sure struggle trying to run InZoi and LBY. I wouldn’t want to see a game get bad reviews because people ignored system requirements. And not to be rude, I don’t really buy the "it struggles on high end PCs” rhetoric. Some people were trying to say the exact thing about Sims 3. I have Sims 3 installed on my PC right now and it runs as smooth as butter with 10 EPs (with the exception of Island Paradise). To add insult to injury, downsizing content was “supposedly” done to ensure that content would be playable for a whole range of PC configs with emphasis placed on lower end PCs, and this was said directly from one of the devs. So it’s just crazy to see people complaining about performance issues in Sims 4. Don’t get me wrong, the Sims 4 is a$$, but maybe some players need to look at their specs. Sims 4 requires at least 8gb of RAM, but really 16 is considered optimal. 3 EP, 12 GP and 9 SP will take up 4.5gb of RAM on its own. Now imagine having every 75+ packs of DLC, plus whatever else doo-doo DLC EA is cooking up with just 8gb of RAM.
this is so true, and i really wish sims 4 wouldnt lowball the game so much in order for really crappy systems to run it. I understand not having money for a better system, but still. i guess a lot of their income comes from those players Although while i personally dont have inherent issues with either sims 3 or 4 either, this is kind of a bad comparison because sims 3 systematically has issues that YES even on modern pcs, needs mods to fix. (i.e. over time the world stuttering because the game doesnt clear stuck items/clutter in the world, even on modern pcs, so you need a mod to clear those periodically) This is especially evident when people who are streamers/play games for a living have issues with the game, when their pcs are beefy as hell haha Also people who play sims 4 as a living, who have beefy computers, are experiencing incredibly odd lag. So theres some fundamental issues with the game/code/how it runs for sure, which is even worse because its like okay sims team, you already push for the game to be playable on toasters but somehow that wasnt even worth it? I have maybe over 70 packs of DLC from the Sims 4 and while I did not have any game breaking issues while I was actively playing, I feel like EA downsizing content to make it run more efficiently on a range of PC’s was just an excuse and opportunity to exploit the community by forcing them to buy content with important features piece by piece. At this point, the amount of content for Sims 4 far surpasses that of Sims 3 and now some people are complaining about performance issues, which further highlights EA’s deception and exploitation. I don’t feel comparing Sims 3 or 4 is a bad comparison at all, being that Sims 3 is literally the predecessor of Sims 4. Why wouldn't I compare them? I played Sims 3 across 3 different PC’s with virtually no performance issues, and I played Sims 4 across 2 different PC’s, one of which was on a non-gaming notebook. What I did notice is that the more DLC and mods I added for Sims 4, the slower it ran, but that was because I was running it on a 9 year lap top at the time with like 200gb of free hard drive space, a shitton of programs installed on it, and it didn’t even have a dedicated GPU...lol So yeah, this is the hill I'm ready to die on. We can talk about how bad EA is all day about game optimization and all of that, but at some point people are going to have to look within. I’ve seen players complain about the low poly items in the Sims 4 and then turn around to also complain about performance issues. Make it make sense. That right there shows they don’t know what they’re saying. If they struggle running Sims 4, then how would high poly items make it better?…lol It's already hard enough optimizing PC games because of the many different PC configs and setups - this is also why Rockstar takes so long optimizing their GTA/RDR games for PC and the PC version is always released last. But throwing in dozens and dozens and dozens of DLC into the mix with people who don't have the proper specs to accommodate them, I'm not even surprised; I just wish EA wouldn’t have used performance as an excuse to exploit. And when you say “beefy”, how beefy are we talking? Because Sims 3 and 4 is nowhere near the level of Inzoi and Inzoi was being run on an i9 processor with like 64gb of RAM. You don’t even need all of that to run Sims 3 or 4, but you do need to understand what the limitations are for *your specs*. 🤷🏽♀️
i havent play like a year ago sims 4 i just tried to play again 2 weeks ago and now i do remember why i stop its because i cant clean dishes they just put garbage on the ground wont clean. cant play like this went back to sims 3.

I think the list is on the small side because there’s just so much wrong with the game code. It’s quite possible that it’s not 100% fixable. I just hope this patch doesn’t demolish my mods folder again.

EA subscription service also gives you a 10% or 5% discount on packs you buy still not worth paying monthly for that. Me personally not gonna buy anymore packs until they fix the Game.
A issue I’ve had is my Sims aren’t getting tips when they are telling jokes or playing guitar in public, from memory you could get tips even if you’re a nobody. My sim is a two star celebrity and I get him to tell jokes at a bar to keep his fame up but yeah…I’m not getting tips…am I remembering wrong? 😶
I haven’t seen anyone mentioning it so far, but EA has DEcreased prices for sims 4, at least in my currency. EPs used to cost 209 BRL, now they’re 139. GPs, SPs and kits have had their prices decreased as well, kits were 29 now they’re 19. The other ones I know they’ve had the prices changed but can’t remember the original prices. And now I’m hearing from this video that EA play subscription has increased… what is going on? It’s not adjustment to the currency exchange rate, i don’t believe.
I deleted my previous save because it would have the endless load screen and a last exception from better exception mods that keeps saying your household failed to load. Only to show some so called broken CC en mods and even if i remove the broken cc and mods its still giving me a last exception error that my household failed to load. Families would only load if my script mods were turned off, most of my mods use script mods to work in the first place. I also noticed that i couldn't save lots to the gallery because the menu was messed up, i still had my script mods on and the more columns mod. So i lost 2 lots after i deleted the save. I also noticed some of my sim families not being there on the gallery as well. Then i made a new save, the only thing i could to was CAS and putting lots in the world and save new created sims to the gallery. No idea if i still can build things, however the screen would be endless loading again when it loads households and instead of a last exceptions error from better exceptions instead the game crashed with some other error. I haven't opened the game ever since. I did update some mods and most of the cc and mods are updated and i deleted some. I hope a new patch update fixes the endless loading screen and maybe the crashing.
Personally, I stopped playing Sims 4 two years ago. Went back to Sims 3, now playing Sims Medieval and Sims 1. Its insane how much more complex the older games are compared to Sim 4.
I have every pack available and i refuse to spend another dime on sims 4. I cant travel w/o the game shutting down, super long loading, no rental income and more. Insane
I literally went back to playing the Sims 3. Sims 4 is broken as heck yet they keep dropping expansion packs and lame kits. They don’t fix anything and the game is boring now. The empty worlds, the laggy animations, I’m just over it! I’ve spent HUNDREDS maybe THOUSANDS of dollars, bought just about every game pack and expansion yet EA keeps putting out these stupid packs that are basically refurbished junk from other packs. Make it make sense.
I can't see the food my sims make, I can't update their wardrobe, some objects look like blocks. The vacuum is invisible. I can't buy new things for the sims bc it disappears when I place it.
Idk if this is an issue for anyone else but there was 2 fires on my sims lot and the firefighter sims just stood there the whole time instead of putting out the fire

Hey EA/Sims team. My issue is not having CONSEQUENCES for actions in the game. My Sim can cheat on his wife and she sees it, and she might be mad for a moment, the only "consequence" is she won't sleep in the same bed, and she goes back to be happy. Stop making this game for kids. The demographic is mostly 18+.....we want our consequences back! We want our lore!!!!! You (EA/Sims team) and the people who keep buying this BS are ruining The Sims 🤷 I said what I said and stick by it. I haven't spent money on this bs since the Base game first came out. I DEMAND actual gameplay. And I'm not talking having usable objects in the game to interact with. I'm talking ACTUAL GAMEPLAY. Consequences, random events. Can’t complete the new crystal creations aspiration the gift giving does not work and I have spent over 1000 dollars and am on console wish I never did love the game but feel like it’s a waste of money when I can’t even play with what I paid for.

I havent purchase any dlc since the prepatch of the jewelry pack, it broke my game, with continuous crashes... they fixed it fast and just showed that they can in fact do it. So the whole argument that some bug needs time, yes it does, it does not take months though, its because they are not allowed by the big bosses to do so. Stop buying pack people, even little kits. I love kits to be completely frank, but I aint buying any futur pack, until they release majors bug fixes for all packs including oldest ones and that they proove being able to release a pack without major terrible issue. I havent played in a long time too. I got really fed up, and this is coming from a guy that was completely addicted to this game, playing since the sims 1, and that was not particularly frustrated by the sims 4 like some are, and also from a guy that purchased all dlc before the jewelry pack... this is over now. Im not even interested or excited by anything new for this game, EA really did it for me, thanks EA for the saving, you saved myself from an addiction and from wasting money into your bank account!

I love that my sims can only throw away dishes instead of washing them when there’s a sink. Dishwasher? No problem… but I like doing rags to riches. I don’t want to have a dishwasher in my cr*ck den build yet. lol. I’m tired and it sucks to boycott packs, but I’m done with their BS.

My Dad is a manly man. He lives on a mountain 30 minutes from town with no cell service. He works on cars builds houses and furniture. He is 50 and has played and owned every Sims and all content every pack. He thinks Sims 4 is not even worth playing with mods and says that sadly Sims 3 was the best and he won't be buying Sims 5, but he will certainly download and play. 😉 If he thinks it is good then maybe he will buy it, but he doesn't think it will be any good. Superior Simmer! The issue with new sim games is they require hella crazy updated graphics cards to run…my system will not run the upcoming games(based on their own requirements). I don’t know about you, but purchasing a whole new system is not in my budget. EA needs to fix their 💩 sims4 issues. Period.

I think my most recent bug that I could think of is to do with dine out, I went to the restaurant and had ordered the food and stuff and a waiter was bringing out the food and when they were serving the food they dropped it so the chef had to make new dishes. But the thing is that I stayed on that lot forages waiting for my food and there was food coming out just for other sims. I never got my food in the end.
There's a mod that fixes most of the bugs in Dine Out and adds some features, like takeout/counter service for fast food, and the ability to add entertainment to turn your place into Chuck E. Cheese. If I remember correctly, it's by the Carl's Sim Guides guy. I've seen people play it and they love it. Say it makes the pack playable.
I keep finding sims who are married to one sim and engaged to another. I think this is a glitch caused by Neighborhood Stories which, although a great idea, was as usual released half baked.

I still didn't play The Sims 4 on my PC since february, since the latest patch. I need to update and backup my mods and delete some outdated ones, so that I can finally play Spa Day. I'm a new Sim Gamer since october 2022, I installed the base game without knowing if it woul work. But then it worked, and I've bought a lot of DLCs on christmas sale and on every black friday, I was on a hunt for cheapier Packs on Gaming Webstores and christmas sales too and now I've got every DLC on my PC. I've played GTW, Outdoor Retreat, now I'm playing Spa Day and I really really really hope they fix the game, so that I can experience every DLC, every Aspiration, every Skill, every Carreer and everything CAS, Building houses and even doing all the challenges when I finish the game. My last DLC packs I might play will be cats and dogs and horses separately, because I love animals. ❤😊
I geel like I'm the only one who doesn't have problems with the sims for, I own almost every pack, and yet the only problem i have is the occasional lag spike. Which can easily be fixed simply by pausing and un-pausing the game lol (Note: I play on Xbox Series X)

But the merch sold out immediately. You do realize that there are people who follow Sims drama and then some people just play the games. Not everyone knows how bad the problems are until their game breaks then they care. there are new simmer who join the community every day, that's who's buying the packs. Plus the people making content on it who don't get it for free. They won't stop playing because it pays them money and people love a pack review or overview of the items.

Pirated version have access to all online features and also get all DLCs and updates basically on the day of release (You can use official base game + cracked DLCs and get updates directly from EA App or crack whole game and use additional app to update it)
Only downside is that either way you need to create a new EA account, so your main one won't get banned (It basically never happens, but still)
The person who develops it even have a website where you can download the game/DLCs without any torrents, so there's no need for a VPN or anything like that.
OF COURSE I WOULD NEVER ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO PIRATE A GAME but hey, EA don't give a damn about fixing their underdeveloped DLCs, so what's the point of paying for them.

I didn't realize how bad the issues were with not fixing bugs until I started playing baulders gate 3. Before, I just figured, "oh, it takes a bit to fix stuff, there's probably a lot on their plate". No. Seeing bg3 and larian studios as an example of a company that actually cares about the game and community, the sims team has been taking advantage of their players too much. They don't care. If they did, they would fix their game and put actual care into their EXPENSIVE packs. Larian by comparison, constantly updates the game and pays a lot of attention to feedback from players, INCLUDING NON-PC PLAYERS.

They built The Sims 4 for multiplayer, then the disaster of SimCity5 being online only, made them reverse that decision, but they couldn’t rebuild the sims 4 from the ground up. So it’s built on an already extremely limited and garbage engine.

Console player here, rotating a house in build mode or rotating a copied roof piece no longer works. It hasn't for months. The button that used to rotate it now starts cycling through the menu along the top of the screen. It's frustrating.

The glitch where any time you go into cas/reload the game whatever book/song your sim was working on reset to 0 progress. Spent in game WEEKS trying to write one book just to find out with my sims daughter songwriting is just as glitched :). I totally forgot about the weed problem too! I have to remove the plant then completely replant the whole thing
my sims have NEVER been able to sell a song. never. not once. I've never gotten the home decorator pack to work neither(the career), never once. Its all so frustrating

I haven’t played since that update where people’s saves started corrupting, I’m basically waiting for them to be done with the sims 4 until I play again cause every time they patch something there’s 1000 worse problems and they don’t even patch the most pressing issues
I'm sorry to hear that and I don't blame you. The Sime 4 feels like one bad dream that Simmers wants to wake up from, I’m ready for The Sims 5.
I finally gave it up 4 months ago. It just got so bad in quality, expensive, and unplayable (crashing) that I finally quit playing the game all together. I get my fix from Stardew now. It’s such a shame, but you’re right, EA will never change their approach until they loose money and people stop buying it.
Hopefully other studios come out with similar games and respect consumer interest.
I haven't paid for a pack or kit since the Wedding Stories disaster and I won't until they listen to the community instead of the sound of money going into the bank account.
I’ve actually started playing sims 2 over sims 4 😭 The gameplay is so much better, I don’t get how Sims 4 doesn’t even have things as simple as taxis coming outside the door.
Ill be honest the sims 2 was awsome, but I like the approach of the sims 4 on certain system a little better, its updated, but the sims 2 had much more small details that make all the difference for sure. I dont play the sims 2 no more, there are things I am missing from sims 4, believe it or not, but I totally get what you mean and I always said sims 2 is the best sims game ever... sims 3 is not even close.

Well, people better start paying attention to the system requirements and understanding their own PC configuration. If you’re having a hard time running Sims 4, you’ll for sure struggle trying to run InZoi and LBY. I wouldn’t want to see a game get bad reviews because people ignored system requirements.
And not to be rude, I don’t really buy the "it struggles on high end PCs” rhetoric. Some people were trying to say the exact thing about Sims 3. I have Sims 3 installed on my PC right now and it runs as smooth as butter with 10 EPs (with the exception of Island Paradise).
To add insult to injury, downsizing content was “supposedly” done to ensure that content would be playable for a whole range of PC configs with emphasis placed on lower end PCs, and this was said directly from one of the devs. So it’s just crazy to see people complaining about performance issues in Sims 4.
Don’t get me wrong, the Sims 4 is a$$, but maybe some players need to look at their specs. Sims 4 requires at least 8gb of RAM, but really 16 is considered optimal. 3 EP, 12 GP and 9 SP will take up 4.5gb of RAM on its own. Now imagine having every 75+ packs of DLC, plus whatever else doo-doo DLC EA is cooking up with just 8gb of RAM.

Although while i personally dont have inherent issues with either sims 3 or 4 either,
this is kind of a bad comparison because sims 3 systematically has issues that YES even on modern pcs, needs mods to fix. (i.e. over time the world stuttering because the game doesnt clear stuck items/clutter in the world, even on modern pcs, so you need a mod to clear those periodically)
This is especially evident when people who are streamers/play games for a living have issues with the game, when their pcs are beefy as hell haha
Also people who play sims 4 as a living, who have beefy computers, are experiencing incredibly odd lag. So theres some fundamental issues with the game/code/how it runs for sure, which is even worse because its like

I have maybe over 70 packs of DLC from the Sims 4 and while I did not have any game breaking issues while I was actively playing, I feel like EA downsizing content to make it run more efficiently on a range of PC’s was just an excuse and opportunity to exploit the community by forcing them to buy content with important features piece by piece.
At this point, the amount of content for Sims 4 far surpasses that of Sims 3 and now some people are complaining about performance issues, which further highlights EA’s deception and exploitation. I don’t feel comparing Sims 3 or 4 is a bad comparison at all, being that Sims 3 is literally the predecessor of Sims 4. Why wouldn't I compare them?
I played Sims 3 across 3 different PC’s with virtually no performance issues, and I played Sims 4 across 2 different PC’s, one of which was on a non-gaming notebook. What I did notice is that the more DLC and mods I added for Sims 4, the slower it ran, but that was because I was running it on a 9 year lap top at the time with like 200gb of free hard drive space, a shitton of programs installed on it, and it didn’t even have a dedicated GPU...lol
So yeah, this is the hill I'm ready to die on. We can talk about how bad EA is all day about game optimization and all of that, but at some point people are going to have to look within. I’ve seen players complain about the low poly items in the Sims 4 and then turn around to also complain about performance issues. Make it make sense. That right there shows they don’t know what they’re saying. If they struggle running Sims 4, then how would high poly items make it better?…lol
It's already hard enough optimizing PC games because of the many different PC configs and setups - this is also why Rockstar takes so long optimizing their GTA/RDR games for PC and the PC version is always released last. But throwing in dozens and dozens and dozens of DLC into the mix with people who don't have the proper specs to accommodate them, I'm not even surprised; I just wish EA wouldn’t have used performance as an excuse to exploit.
And when you say “beefy”, how beefy are we talking? Because Sims 3 and 4 is nowhere near the level of Inzoi and Inzoi was being run on an i9 processor with like 64gb of RAM. You don’t even need all of that to run Sims 3 or 4, but you do need to understand what the limitations are for *your specs*. 🤷🏽♀️
i havent play like a year ago sims 4 i just tried to play again 2 weeks ago and now i do remember why i stop its because i cant clean dishes they just put garbage on the ground wont clean. cant play like this went back to sims 3.

A issue I’ve had is my Sims aren’t getting tips when they are telling jokes or playing guitar in public, from memory you could get tips even if you’re a nobody.

I haven’t seen anyone mentioning it so far, but EA has DEcreased prices for sims 4, at least in my currency. EPs used to cost 209 BRL, now they’re 139. GPs, SPs and kits have had their prices decreased as well, kits were 29 now they’re 19. The other ones I know they’ve had the prices changed but can’t remember the original prices. And now I’m hearing from this video that EA play subscription has increased… what is going on? It’s not adjustment to the currency exchange rate, i don’t believe.
I deleted my previous save because it would have the endless load screen and a last exception from better exception mods that keeps saying your household failed to load. Only to show some so called broken CC en mods and even if i remove the broken cc and mods its still giving me a last exception error that my household failed to load.
Families would only load if my script mods were turned off, most of my mods use script mods to work in the first place.
I also noticed that i couldn't save lots to the gallery because the menu was messed up, i still had my script mods on and the more columns mod. So i lost 2 lots after i deleted the save.
I also noticed some of my sim families not being there on the gallery as well.
Then i made a new save, the only thing i could to was CAS and putting lots in the world and save new created sims to the gallery. No idea if i still can build things, however the screen would be endless loading again when it loads households and instead of a last exceptions error from better exceptions instead the game crashed with some other error.
I haven't opened the game ever since. I did update some mods and most of the cc and mods are updated and i deleted some. I hope a new patch update fixes the endless loading screen and maybe the crashing.

Personally, I stopped playing Sims 4 two years ago. Went back to Sims 3, now playing Sims Medieval and Sims 1. Its insane how much more complex the older games are compared to Sim 4.
I have every pack available and i refuse to spend another dime on sims 4. I cant travel w/o the game shutting down, super long loading, no rental income and more. Insane

I literally went back to playing the Sims 3. Sims 4 is broken as heck yet they keep dropping expansion packs and lame kits. They don’t fix anything and the game is boring now. The empty worlds, the laggy animations, I’m just over it! I’ve spent HUNDREDS maybe THOUSANDS of dollars, bought just about every game pack and expansion yet EA keeps putting out these stupid packs that are basically refurbished junk from other packs. Make it make sense.
I can't see the food my sims make, I can't update their wardrobe, some objects look like blocks. The vacuum is invisible. I can't buy new things for the sims bc it disappears when I place it.
Idk if this is an issue for anyone else but there was 2 fires on my sims lot and the firefighter sims just stood there the whole time instead of putting out the fire

My issue is not having CONSEQUENCES for actions in the game. My Sim can cheat on his wife and she sees it, and she might be mad for a moment, the only "consequence" is she won't sleep in the same bed, and she goes back to be happy. Stop making this game for kids. The demographic is mostly 18+.....we want our consequences back! We want our lore!!!!!

I got really fed up, and this is coming from a guy that was completely addicted to this game, playing since the sims 1, and that was not particularly frustrated by the sims 4 like some are, and also from a guy that purchased all dlc before the jewelry pack... this is over now. Im not even interested or excited by anything new for this game, EA really did it for me, thanks EA for the saving, you saved myself from an addiction and from wasting money into your bank account!

Superior Simmer! The issue with new sim games is they require hella crazy updated graphics cards to run…my system will not run the upcoming games(based on their own requirements). I don’t know about you, but purchasing a whole new system is not in my budget. EA needs to fix their 💩 sims4 issues. Period.

I think my most recent bug that I could think of is to do with dine out, I went to the restaurant and had ordered the food and stuff and a waiter was bringing out the food and when they were serving the food they dropped it so the chef had to make new dishes. But the thing is that I stayed on that lot forages waiting for my food and there was food coming out just for other sims. I never got my food in the end.
I went to a restaurant at 1 p.m didn’t get served till 5 a.m
There's a mod that fixes most of the bugs in Dine Out and adds some features, like takeout/counter service for fast food, and the ability to add entertainment to turn your place into Chuck E. Cheese.

I keep finding sims who are married to one sim and engaged to another. I think this is a glitch caused by Neighborhood Stories which, although a great idea, was as usual released half baked.

I haven't bought any packs since growing together, I've been playing since 2000. I'm done. Screw Sims 5, the franchise is dead.
I would suggest people who want to play the Sims three and the Sims two and the Sims one and medieval Sims do not buy them on steam or app I would buy them from Amazon. I would get physical copies because when you buy from steam or EA they will take them off when you own them them all copies, physical copies, the players, and I think they Xbox PlayStation
and this is what you get when you don’t have constant maintenance for the whole game instead, you have patchwork that doesn’t work it only results issue for a little bit and then it calls a giant problem down the road and this is what you get for having a CEO who doesn’t understand video games at all or has played video games in his entire life and doesn’t know how to run a video game And only cares about money, then making playable games that could last for hours and Basically rushing to put a game out that it’s broken Instead of waiting until the game is playable and do monthly or weekly updates on the entire entire game not just patchwork But actually updating the entire game fixing all the problem instead of minor ones, and And they’re not going to fix it so quit and stop buying from EA or lawsuit against false advertising
I swear they are just throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks. Too bad everything they keep throwing at the wall keeps bouncing off and hitting them in the face. They should just put a thing in the game that allows you to change the version of the game along with what packs you have active. You would think that they wouldn’t be that difficult to do, but knowing how well their track record has been lately, they’d find a way to muck this up too and break even more things with the game.
Yeah after 4 Rent came out I stopped buying DLC for the sims.
The patch is out and it's a total joke, as predicted. Bunch of inconsequential fixes that don't do anything to fix the major problems with the game.

I still didn't play The Sims 4 on my PC since february, since the latest patch.
I need to update and backup my mods and delete some outdated ones, so that I can finally play Spa Day.
I'm a new Sim Gamer since october 2022, I installed the base game without knowing if it woul work. But then it worked, and I've bought a lot of DLCs on christmas sale and on every black friday, I was on a hunt for cheapier Packs on Gaming Webstores and christmas sales too and now I've got every DLC on my PC.
I've played GTW, Outdoor Retreat, now I'm playing Spa Day and I really really really hope they fix the game, so that I can experience every DLC, every Aspiration, every Skill, every Carreer and everything CAS, Building houses and even doing all the challenges when I finish the game.
My last DLC packs I might play will be cats and dogs and horses separately, because I love animals. ❤😊

I geel like I'm the only one who doesn't have problems with the sims for, I own almost every pack, and yet the only problem i have is the occasional lag spike. Which can easily be fixed simply by pausing and un-pausing the game lol

You'll all buy whatever they sell you and you know it. You have to keep up, nobody wants to be left behind. It's like that saying "keeping up with the Jones'", people have this need to have what everyone else has, the latest DLC, the newest cell phones, the trending fashions, it's like an addiction. I'm addicted to weed, I don't buy DLC, Kits, Packs, not one single penny goes towards a "free to play" game from me.
