Thank you for your video. I just ordered the full set of skid plates for my 2024 AT4 Diesel. Regarding your comment on Diesels not having catalytic converters. Your Diesel truck has one. Pickups have had catalytic converters for years now. If your truck is a 3.0 Duramax. It does not have a muffler. The second canister is a DPF.
6:43 that floppy harness under the engine that you we’re talking about appears to have some wear at the point it was contacting the OEM protection plate…i might be tempted to add some loom or cloth tape wrap there…
Thanks for this review while you protect your truck. Just wondering what the Dealer will say if warranty work is needed? Will he charge time to remove and reinstall? His cost would probably be more than a new cat.
@@garysnyder6020 if that was an issue, you could drop the plates yourself within a half hour or so. It’s long enough that a criminal would never spend that kind of time but if it would save you money at the shop it wouldn’t be s big deal. I had to have my transmission replaced under warranty in my 2021 F-150 that had the plates and they were never mentioned.
That overlay shot when you showed the before/after was very impressive. First time I've seen something like that. Thanks Dan.

Nice review. I am waiting for my AT4 Duramax to be built so I am seeing the options.
Thank you for your time and effort.
Have you noticed with all that protection .That it has made the floor hotter now being the heat is trapped in more now.

Nice job with the overlay, glad to see what the difference actually covers. Plus it all makes the underside neater
Cool.. it would probably give additional protection when running over road debris..

Glad you provided the before and after pics of the beard! 😅 The opening scene of the video was a bit shocking 😳!
@@GearsGadgets Good dealer.
非常详细的视频,谢谢!
I really wish someone would offer a full undercarriage skid set for a 2018 gmc sierra but unfortunately nobody does
In years past, I've heard of thieves punching or drilling holes in gas tanks to steal the gas. Does this offer any protection for the gas tank?
Can the plates be painted?
Did my beard a couple of weeks ago I actually like it and been shaven with clippers fill kind of nice looking younger
