Hi guys tips for people who had to triple their yarn or their yarn is way bigger than hers or if you want to try this method ❤ - When you get to row 5 instead of reapeating till row 10 stop at row 8 or wherever is before your eyebrows - when crocheting the base make sure it doesn’t go past your eyebrows, if not the hat will be too big and shapeless. - when you get to the brim just crochet four more rows and then follow the steps she used to create the shape of the hat . REMEMBER don’t be afraid to frog it and keep adjusting, I had to do that to get my desired hat ❤
Tutorial super easy I bought pattern off etsy shop, wish I knew you had a shop. I would have bought it there so you don't have to pay etsy fee. My hat came out perfect.

IDK what happened. Mine is way too big and floppy. Like I am crying because there is no way I can make it LESS floppy without adding wire. I had the same yarn, hooks, and followed step by step. I am so disappointed. I may try it again :(
@@nieceycoopergonna try this. I got to the last 2 rows before the end and it was way too big and I usually crochet tightly. I’ll try using smaller hooks. Thanks for the tip
For my second row, I have 20 stitches, however, my measurement is almost 4 inches. I am using the same yarn from Hobby Lobby and a 10mm hook. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Don’t fret. Mine is as well. I’m gonna try another yarn 😊let’s do this again
It could be that your tension is too loose; maybe try using a smaller hook.
I have the same problem 😢 but I am frogging mine and using a smaller hook to see it that helps
Update: I used a 8mm and a 6mm hook and it came out so much better. Hope this helps someone else 😊
