Well so far and about making about 16 of your scrunchies my daughter might like some of this style with the bow so I best check. Thanks very much again
Thanks for the pattern! That tube turner is amazing I'll have to get one and some freezer paper too, I use poster board but really like the idea of it sticking to the fabric.
Hi and thanks again for a well-prepared tutorial! What a nice way to use scraps! I have just learned that we can use the Purple Thang for inserting elastics and the tip with the tape for sewing the elastic is excellent! Thanks! 🌸🌸
@Pearl Yes, you can certainly use rayon fabric instead of the cotton. Since rayon is different than cotton, it does tend to unravel more, but it is certainly a great option. -Michelle
Thank You so much Jen! :D This was so simple and easy and now I can make my own scruncies. I noticed you aren't wearing your logo tshirt in Pink? O.O Pink looks so nice on you :) Whenever I need cheering up, I come to your channel and relax. It would be so neat to see you do a tutorial outdoors in a garden while drinking tea. Just for fun, you know? :) teeheehee :P
@Rosey Rose What a lovely idea for a change of scenery!! We will definitely pass along your suggestion. We are glad you enjoyed this tutorial. Thanks sew much for watching!! -Michelle
@Susana We just use some 1/6" elastic we had left from making masks, but there's a variety of sizes that would work.(You can find the elastic we used here: www.shabbyfabrics.com/Search.aspx?k=mask+elastic) -Michelle

I'm glad scrunchies are back in style. I used to wear them in the 80's. I tried to wear them in the early 2000's and people made fun of me.

Wondering if you have any sewing suggestions by using rayon fabric for scrunchie - vs cotton fabric .
@Pearl Yes, you can certainly use rayon fabric instead of the cotton. Since rayon is different than cotton, it does tend to unravel more, but it is certainly a great option. -Michelle
@@ShabbyFabrics Any suggestions on the handling of the unraveling

@Pearl you can serge the edges or use a zigzag stitch to help avoid unravelling. -Michelle
@@ShabbyFabrics yes- I do have a serger - thanks
