    I'm the creator of the map and it's an honor to see people enjoying it!
    Awesome stuff! At least I'm not the only one to forget the water pump too, I have done that so many times and did it with my own map too.
    You even did the same exact strategy I did with a dam and sealing off the badwater on the left side, and creating a pool in the river.
    I somewhat made the metal somewhat tight yeah, at least it's doable, but I must admit I made it a bit too scarce.
    Sadly one thing I didn't get to add in is alternative starts for this map, it was made right before they added them but after the workshop beta was announced. Sad!

      Oh wow, nice! Yea this was a really interesting map design, I'm digging it so far! The scarce metal just made it more interesting to get things going but now I have a mine and things are slowly getting there haha. Appreciate you watching!

    I've never seen you before. Not super sure what made me click the video, but I'm so glad. Your voice is so gentle and soothing. Subbed!

    You should grow your oak trees where they are safe, and grow your pine trees next to the contamination prone channel. I'd avoid Chestnuts and maples until later. Oak trees are your most valuable crop except your farm.

      Looking good so far, I'd consider building a tank around your water source, with a badwater diversion at the source.

      Yea, fair point! You'll see in the next episode that the badwater won't be an issue for my tree farm much longer haha.

    i love watching people get mad at virtual beavers

      Lol, yea it's usually user error when the beavers are doing something they're not supposed to haha.

    Yeeeessss, I just did a quick play on this one. Pretty fun map! Absolutely no metal.

      Yea, I didn't realize that till I started haha. Definitely adds a new dimension to the playthrough and forces you to change tactics.

    Your water source is very limited. With log droughts the evaporation will be very high. Make the water storage deep and small rather than shallow and big.

      Yep, that's the eventual plan!

    I like to rush paper and advanced wind turbines with folktales.

    • @Fuzz-Brain
      @Fuzz-Brain  3 месяца назад

      Yea, that's probably a good idea. I'm a bit more methodical with my playstyle, so I may get there eventually haha.

    Lol glad i am not the only one who makes stupid mistakes while playing !!!

    • @Fuzz-Brain
      @Fuzz-Brain  2 месяца назад

      Haha, I always make a TON of mistakes, because this game draws your focus on way too many things sometimes. You want to build cool stuff, but you need to make sure everyone survives haha.

    Could you lower the ambient sounds a bit? that wind noise....

    • @Fuzz-Brain
      @Fuzz-Brain  3 месяца назад +1

      Ah, good suggestion! I guess I've been playing so much I've drowned it out myself haha.

    It drove me crazy that you put them on 24 hours and then just left it on for like 8 cycles

      Haha, there's usually a lot going on especially in the beginning. I felt just as bad as you did I'm sure :|

    Just a suggestion, getting motion sickness from all the zoom out/in and turning back and forth. Also, the mouth noise when you are thinking, some people like ASMR, I personally am not one. Other than that, not a bad video.

    • @Fuzz-Brain
      @Fuzz-Brain  3 месяца назад +2

      Ah bummer! I'll try to remember to limit the zooming and update some settings so it isn't so bad.
