I have to say the combo of Tengen and Rengoku both having skills that blur the screen a lot, you can go for some crazy mix-ups if you use them together.
I'm really liking Tengen's design, he's really strong but he's really high commitment with his skills. Since his skills last so long, ultimate or characters with invincible or armored move can get punishes that way if Tengen doesn't switch in time. Stuff like that make it so while his skills are really strong and fat he still has to be cautious not to leave himself vulnerable.
Personally I vibe with Tengen - Giyu the most, since hiding Dead Calm amidst all the chaos from Tengen is actually pretty good.
Also switch tech really helps the two of them thrive so they really benefit from one-another.

This game is so much more alive and entertaining when it’s characters other than Akaza and Enmu. SO refreshing to see actual slayers match up. Actually gives the game view-ability and variety
I definitely love to use Tengen and Shinobu they just flow so well together and he matches my play style with Shinobu
I've been practicing as Uzui a lot. And I've discovered that Murata and Zenitsu have great synergy with him, I think they do anyway!

Tengen is already my favorite character in the game alongside Rengoku

Tengen is definitely fire, he’s balanced. I’ve heard him be compared to water tanjiro. I think he’s around there. Super fun and smooth to play.
He’s not balanced at all it’s impossible to beat him been 3-0 4 in a row by him he can do that slide hit when your blocking then if he hits one shot he can do a combo that gets your from full health to barely any without you being able to hit back

Murata assist all day. I noticed you tried to do the rising kick into an assist. Its much easier to land with Murata as your assist. But ofc thats only if you want to keep tengen as your main option. If you intend on switching out then Shinobu would be the better option
i use giyu and tengen and they work pretty well

Tengen and Rengoku works like a charm flashy and blinding for opponent I feel like Tengen is a type of character that hide behind the bomb so he can throw attacks that the opponent can’t see coming

Since Rengoku doesn't need help in damage so Tengen could help in neutral right?

It works well, but it's a 100% offensive team because both characters are based on sticking to your opponent and causing maximum damage, as well as creating great distractions, they are based on the same style, the only difference is that Tengen has speed and creak while Rengoku does the damage.
In a way they tune in well, but there must be better options.

Something I've noticed is that you can combo after both of his air specials if you cancel at the right time or if you land it once you close to the ground

I am rocking Rengoku Tengen, but two other good ones is water Tangiro (Good water wheel pressure and combo extender) and Zenitsu (combo extender). Great video!

I found out that Tengen has a 1.15x damage multiplier. Same as Zenutsu, Rengoku, Makomo and Susamaru. I found out by doing an Akaza TOD on both Tengen and Zenitsu and they both took the exact same amount of damage.

I’ve been using uzui and giyu and I really like it but I’ve also seen some insane combos with uzui and murata
I think both tengen and tanjiro both got parried by Shinobu at the end of this video.

you still didn't talk yet about how Tengen can go through some projectiles with his dash (sometimes can go through zenitsu skill)

They should have added daki and gyutaro
I found a really good combo with tengen and zenitsu assist: AA, guard skill, dash (opponent should be in the air), AA (in air), as soon as you hit the second air attack call zenitsu and if you do it right you should be able to catch the opponent in to another 2 attacks in air attacks and finish with neutral skill in air.
Tenges plus rengoku is busted trust me

I still can’t figure out a good combo to lead into an ult
ive been using air tilt skill into assist into ult for big damage to end combos but honestly your most consistent way is neutral skill crumple out of any grounded starter. even just hitting a tilt skill into neutral skill into ult is very good damage
I think Tengan’s Rising Kick is my least favorite move in the entire game… it just doesn’t fit him and when you whiff it, it’s just the worst.. I hate it.
