I have. And i agree, it is a very different version, but sometimes it is nice to see how an extra few years or so of experience plays into the interpretation.@@astaroth67400
Floor who…?🤩” And by the way, Lara is classically trained in opera. She’s what’s technically called a “lyric”or“bright”soprano which is characterized by a warm, round tonality. Lara self describes as “a songwriter who sings.” She declined a career in opera because there wouldn’t be a place for her song writing and thus, decided to engage the the type of music that she loved. Lara is called “The Ring” because of the crystal quality of her resonance. Watch her live performances when ever possible. She knows how to disappear into and become the song. This is her hallmark and no one comes close to her in this ability. She is able to do this light years beyond those who are usually grouped in with her. What a great disservice! Lara is loved and adored by millions and millions of people all around the globe and I am happy to say, that I am one of them.
Thank You for reacting to Lara, she wrote the Lyrics in English and Italian for this Classical song, also she sings fluently in 6 languages and is considered the 4th voice of the Quartet added to the Trinity of Whitney, Mariah and Celine. Her voice is referred as the ring and she unfortunately was signed and produced by Sony in year 2000 and her debut album is just STELLAR, but Mottola had to cancel her after the pressure of team Dion and his then wife Ms Carey denying us of this Goddess !!. She however is worldwide known and loved, her career is huge in Europe , S. America and Russia!!. Some ladies can’t deal with good competition!!.. Enjoy and please keep playing her, she btw is DIMASH’s inspiration and he has done many of her songs and duet with her!!
And add to this short list : Extrait de Yentl (ruclips.net/video/zW8lalHMwxk/видео.html). Two songs from Barbra Streisand...live...in a row...(Papa can you hear me, and Piece of Sky)
More information on Lara Fabian: Lara is recognized as one of the best vocalist ever seen on earth and all professionals list her in the top vocalist tier with Barbra, Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Lisa Fischer, .... In my personal opinion, she is even the best. There are a few vocal characteristics that are her signature: her famous resonance for instance that allows her to sing acapella without mic in venues with 8,000 attendees. Her nickname in the singing world is "the ring" due to this. I would also list her amazing phrasing, breath management and her pleasant tone even when belting in her upper register. So she is one of the best vocalist ever, but on top of that, she adds a few things that make her an absolute package with no equivalence: • she speaks 2 languages natively (french, italian), and 2 others fluently (english, spanish), can speak a bit of dutch (and sicilian), and understand quite well russian and portuguese. She has sung in 12 languages in total • she is an amazing songwriter and wrote lyrics for 200+ songs, in the 4 languages she speaks fluently. She often co-composes the music with the composer. • she acts and performs on stage as nobody else, she colors and reveals the meaning of every single word in the songs, and her ability to emote, to draw you in is second to none • she is the sweetest soul on earth, very humble, down to earth and benevolent. She likes to meet others, and her fans are always pleasantly surprised when this happens. A quick background on her and her career: She is belgian, her father is flemish, but also has italian roots (her mother is from sicilia) and American roots ( her grandfather is from Detroit). She was raised in sicilia first then in Belgium so she speaks both italian and french as native languages. She has been classically trained on vocal, piano and songs composition for 10 years ( from 8 to 18) in the Brussels Royal Conservatory. She is still having vocal lessons and training several times a week today. She started her career in Canada in the early 90s, more precisely in Quebec, the french-speaking part of Canada. She had been living for years in Montreal and has also Canadian citizenship. She just moved back to Italy a few months ago (temporarily?). She became very famous in Quebec and then conquered France in 1996/1997 (she topped charts there and some of her songs such as "Je t'aime" or "Tout" became classics of the french music). In 2000, she was about to penetrate the US Market, with a lot of media initial interest. Her first english song (I will love again), a pop dance song, stayed number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart for 58 weeks in a row and number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her Album ("Lara Fabian") was about to become a massive hit, and the concert "From Lara With Love" was recorded to be broadcasted everywhere in the US. This concert is legendary, packed with masterpieces (covered by many great vocalists later on). But a dispute with Sony on artistry directions, and the will from Celine Dion's staff to block her progress in the US, completely broke this plan. She thus refocused back on Europe and made huge success there, extending her reach to Eastern Europe and Central Asia where she became an absolute superstar through her collaboration with Igor Krutoy during several years. She is absolutely massive in Russia for instance. She is also a star in Brazil as her song "Love By Grace", used as the soundtrack for a very famous soap opera, topped the charts for months and become a recurrent in the local singing contests since then. Many of her songs became classics and were covered by the other singing legends: Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey, Josh Groban (they are friends and he told she is a role model for him), Linda Eder, … With her success in Europe, Brazil and part of Asia, she is the inspiration of the new generation of vocalists: most of them are coming from there. Thru their covers of Lara Fabian songs, USA and many other countries are now rediscovering her. She is Dimash's idol: I’ve read somewhere that, when he was a child, he was listening her songs every night to get asleep. He covered many of her songs, most of these were composed by Igor Krutoy and written by by Lara. Out of my mind I can list: ○ Adagio (She wrote it and is the original performer), ○ Mademoiselle Hyde (she wrote it and is the original performer), ○ Love of Tired Swans (she wrote the song in French under the title "Je t'aime encore" and was the original performer of the french then the russian versions, Dimash covered the russian version) ○ Ascolta La Voce / Vocalize (this was a pure vocalization and she was the original performer, then lyrics were added for Dimash and it was rebranded as "Know") She also wrote the lyrics of Dimash's song "Your Love". And she covered "Love is like a dream" before him (song from Igor Krutoy originally performed by Alla Pugacheva). Finally, they also performed "Ti Amo Cosi" together, in trio with Aida Garafulina: this is a song that she performed originally with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Sumi Jo then again later with Dmitri and Alina Yarovaya, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. Dimash is now also working with Igor Krutoy: Igor and Dimash connected after his Adagio cover, also endorsed by Lara. Igor came back from retirement and composed severals songs for him after it. Many other top vocalists from the current generation covered her songs, some have Lara as a role model and big inspiration: ○ Floor Jansen (Adagio), ○ Polina Gagarina (Adagio, Je t’aime), ○ Diana Ankudinova (Tomorrow is a lie), ○ Morissette Amon (Broken Vow), ○ Gabriel Henrique (Love by Grace), ○ Cakra Khan (Broken Vow), ○ Katrina Velarde (Broken Vow), ○ Regine Velasquez (Broken Vow), ○ Dmitri Hvorostovsky (Adagio), ○ Giulia Falcone (Adagio, Caruso, Je suis malade, Je t'aime), ○ Forestella (Je suis Malade), ○ Almira (from 4th Impact band) (Broken Vow), ○ Gigi de Lana (Broken Vow) ○ Julie Anne san Jose (Adagio, Broken Vow), ○ Rimar ( Adagio, Broken Vow, Know), ○ Il Divo (Adagio) ○ Daria Bentsa (I guess I loved you), ○ Sarah Geronimo (Broken Vow) ○ Laura Bretan ( Adagio, Caruso), ○ Jackie Evancho (Je t’aime, Caruso and Broken Vow, BV rewritten as « Imaginer » by Lara for Jackie), ○ Amir (Je t’aime), ○ Vitas (Adagio), ○ Anastasia Luna (Adagio), ○ Jeck (Je T’Aime), ○ Evgenia Fanfara (Adagio), ○ Anna Eriksson (Je suis malade), ○ Choi Sung Hoon (Je suis malade), ○ Soprano Turetsky band (Adagio) ○ Majda Roumi (Adagio), ○ Harrison Craig (Broken Vow), ○ Petra Berger (Adagio, Broken Vow), ○ Katerina Maslova (Je t’aime, I guess I loved you) ○ Sevara Nazarkhan (Je t’aime) ○ .... NB: Lara did cover Caruso , Je suis malade, and Love by grace, these are not her originals, but I mention these here as the related artists were attracted to cover it again after listening to Lara’s version. Today, Lara still has an amazing voice and tone and can still reach the 5th octave with resonance ; she still offers these emotive renditions that are her unique signature. In June 2022, she kicked off a WW tour and stunned her fans once again with 5 magical concerts in Canada. She completed the europe part in September/October and I attended a concert from this tour. It was packed and she was again spectacular. On April and May 2023 she had again a wonderful concerts in Tbilissi, Georgia, and in Ouzbekhistan and Kazakhstan. Sorry if I was long, but I hope this gives some context on Lara.
Just as Dimash Qudaibergen is the top male vocalist on the planet, Lara Fabian is the top female vocalist. She is in Russia for this performance and that pianist is Igor Krutoy, the very famous composer who also works with Diana and Dimash. You are absolutely correct that she is an Angel, in heart, soul and voice. Yes she can sing Opera but also Pop and a wide range of other genres. She also sings beautifully completely devoid of any instrumentation.😉 Je Suis Malade is a masterpiece but she has so many beautiful and amazing songs to check out.🌹❤️🔥🌹 I am happy to hear that you are excited by all the new music but you have barely scratched the surface. The world outside of the USA is filled with top level musicians that your music industry does not make any profit on.☹️😢 Great reaction👍 🥰🥰🥰Hugs from Canada🇨🇦
Oh boy, you just discovered one of the greatest female or any gender for that matter, vocalist on this planet. I am a huge Angelina fan but she is just getting started on her career where as Lara has been around for Decades and continues to be amazing. If you read Ericsicard910 comments below you will likely be educated on the remarkable Lara Fabian. Thanks for the reaction Daniel....your on a roll. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 There are very very few artists that can hold a candle to Lara.
Arias.
Here is the reference version of Adagio by Lara: Lara Fabian - Adagio (From Lara with love, 2000, 1080p restored quality) ruclips.net/video/bqoS-KOLV_4/видео.html
My understanding is that Dimash consders her his Muse and inspiration. She has been knocking them out of the park since 1988, when she finished fourth in the Eurovision talent contest. The winner was some lady named Celine, and it started a alleged feud between the two, which limited Lara's exposure to the North American market. Lara IS emotion, and I have no idea how her audiences survive an hour and a helf concert, much less how she is still standing at the end. By the way, she also wrote the lyrics to this song, and she speaks and sings in multiple languages, principally French, Italian, and English.
Lara Fabian is the original singer of Adagio an she wrote the lyrics of Adagio ... This performance is from a wonderful concert in Moscow 2010. Her best performance of Adagio is the performance in the concert"" Lara with love"" of 1998. Lara Fabian , once again the very beautiful, very strong but velvety voice of a very beautiful singer. She always seems to sing so effortless also in the (very) high notes....A voice you can listen the whole day. Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics in English and in Italian on the notes of the old classic music composition ""Adagio"" . Lara sings the song Adagio in English, Italian and half English and half Italian ... Lara writes, sings and records often her own compositions in 2 or 3 different languages and switches without effort. However, I prefer the Italian version. ruclips.net/video/BOKLQKnPbkM/видео.html
I would highly recommend you listen to her "From Lara with Love" live version from 2000. She was at her best. All the songs from that concert are fantastic.
Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonata, concerto or symphony that is using that specific pace. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and gave his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music compositions, mostly operatic, and different lyrics (Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in italian then co-wrote the english lyrics for it and is the original performer of these 2 versions. She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration. This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Julie Anne San Jose, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , … They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love. ruclips.net/video/bqoS-KOLV_4/видео.html Her italian version is also amazing. A famous italian version: ruclips.net/video/qf7xcMN-TYI/видео.html Or you can check her recent excellent rendition in Paris early october 2022 ruclips.net/video/BulgxI-8zj4/видео.html
Also Floor Jansen covered this song at home during the covid pandemic. In the seventies the band Renaissance, with vocalist Annie Haslam, made a version of Albinoni's Adagio titled Cold is Being.
Love, love, love your reaction! One of my favorite things is when I’m able to catch a reactors very first exposure to Lara Fabian! I have watched countless people, male and female, fall in love with this woman! She is just amazing! Oh,and there’s SO much more ahead for you! But please,Daniel, don’t be so hard on yourself. Yes,there are other reaction channels with people who have musical backgrounds and I enjoy watching them, too, when I want to learn the technical. I have no musical background myself except for my time in high school choir(and that was over 50 years ago)!😳😆. I like getting educated about things I love and I LOVE music! But the “technical” stuff is of the “brain” and to be truly moved by music,I must listen with my soul! Old lady babbling here! Anyway, thank you for your enthusiastic, passionate reaction! It got me hitting that “subscribe” button!❤️
She sings from her soul to ours, in all her songs, still today at 53yo she is the all time best female vocaliste of this century her voice still mesmerizing and she is so gorgeous. Listening to Lara and you are screwed for now and forever..Shes got you..helpless and spellbound..Amazing woman!!
This was so great I had to watch the whole thing twice! There's nothing better than watching someone get their minds blown by Lara so we can relive our own discovery of her again. I'll add a few things that may not have been said already. She's 41 at the time of this concert, which was for an extraordinary project she did with Maestro Igor Krutoy called Mademoiselle Zhivago. So the musical thing that's important is just how well she's taken care of her voice. Women's voices peak around the late 20's. That's why everyone is pointing you to her 1999-2000 concert From Lara With Love when she was 29ish. It's a master class from start to finish. It was actually filmed in Montreal for distribution in the US on PBS as part of her introduction to us. Her deal with Sony fell apart because of Celine Dion's team, they were so threatened by her they forced Sony to push her into the pop-dance genre. She can do that, of course, but its not who she is. So she returned to Canada and Europe and continued, while we here remained sadly oblivious to her brilliance. This song is a testament to just how important being a songwriter is to her. (And she's a freaking genius songwriter/musician/composer. Her melodies and lyrics are incredible, and over the decades she's managed to never fall into the trap of things sounding the same.) It's a love song to the god of inspiration, as Adagio, begging him to never abandon her. It speaks to the mystical connection to wherever music creations come from, and the fragility of that connection. This is from her soul, her DNA. That's why for many of us there is no cover that can compare. Not because the others aren't great singers in their own right, but because it's so personal to her. But on the other hand it's so incredible to watch her being discovered because of those very covers. Welcome to the greatest rabbit hole in all of RUclips and the greatest story teller to ever hold a mic! And she's a phenomenal human being as well, we all fall in love with her, it's impossible not to.😊
FYI: She’s absolutely beautiful at 53 - LARA (not Laura) Fabian (Fabyanne) with links: Lara Fabian is a Canadian (Québécoise) of Belgium birth and Italian/Franco/Flemish cultural heritage. Lara studied piano, composition, and voice at a Brussels Conservatory for a decade. Lara is a full lyric soprano with a vocal range that spans four octaves (A5, B4, BB4, C3, C5, C#5, D5, E5, EB5, F5, F#5, G5) in live performances. She is multilingual; she speaks Italian, French, Spanish, and English and has sung in 12. Lara, who describes herself as a songwriter/singer, creates a high emotional connection with the listener. She has a discography of over 400 songs, has sold over 30 million records, and plays at sold-out venues worldwide. She lives with her husband and daughter in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. A “50 at 50” - fifty live performances celebrating her 50th birthday had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 and was rescheduled as “The Best of Lara.” I’m a ‘fan’ because of her high level ‘EQ’ (emotional intelligence) expressed in the text of her songs. Lara is from the same period as Celine Dion. Celine has gone more into the commercial business, where I think Lara has chosen the better side of the music business. Lara is also much more talented than Celine, she sings in different languages, she is half Belgian and half Sicilian, so perfect French and Italian, listen to Carusso, just breathtaking.🤟🏻🤟🏻🎶🎶

@@lizatsurkan4323again wrong page Liza??? Oh my God, it's has been years... Not tired to be such a haters?? This is Lara Fabian page, nobody asked you to watch it.. Go and watch your idol, and save your time to visit a therapist, a good one, to fight your frustration..
Hello Arias !! Amicalement 🙏🏼👍❤️🇫🇷
I enjoy listening to Lara Fabian. She is a marvelous vocal talent. All I can say is thank goodness that we have so many beautiful voices in the world today, and that we have access to them in a way we didn't in the past.
A Queen! Queen of Emotions. I've seen her live last year. It was amazing. Years are kind to her, she hasn't lost a bit, natural beauty, she lives a normal life, acts as a very normal person, nonpretentious..... A true lady! Coming from a prog/metal guy.
Glad you reviewed Lara. She really is fire. Seriously no singer can touch her. Emotionally she puts her soul into her songs and music. Technically she is the best and it all comes easy to her. She is grounded and very unassuming. Besides being an excellent linguist and very relatable. I love a lot of singers but she really is above the rest. No one touches Lara. You should listen to her singing Je suis Malade, Je t'aime and then broken arrow. Once you hear this voice of angel, you'll never want to listen to anyone else. Yes I am a fan! First heard her when I was living in France. She sings in French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and of course English!
Hello from France ! You have just discovered this immense artist that is Lara Fabian. I advise you to listen to other songs by Lara, you will never be disappointed with her performances, she is incredible!
She wrote the lyrics but initially in Italian which is a more powerful version, she then did the English version, this is not her best version but amazing, listen to it in Italian….. also listen to her singing perdere l’amore…. You will be blown away. Adagio music was written by a Venetian composer a couple hundred years ago, it was purely instrumental, she wrote these lyrics so it is her song… glad you are enjoying it…..
It’s not just her version, she wrote it, however you should be reacting to her singing this from her “From Lara with Love” concert from 2000 when she was truly in her prime, as good as she is here, back then no one could touch her, then check out Je Suis Malade and You’re Not from Here from the same concert. Then you’re jaw with hit the ground!
I'm also an AJ fan but Lara is above all else! Let's go, I'm in for the ride! There are masterpieces if you check out her Lara With Love concert. My favorites are Caruso, Je suis malade, You're not from here, Broken vow... and quite a few more. Never mind the technical descriptions, she's all about the feelings!
hello, Lara Fabian sings in more than 12 different languages and is fluent in French, Italian, English and Spanish, her musical repertoire is very varied and covers Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston, Maria Caray, an exceptional and authentic artist and also a source of inspiration for many young singers like dimash she takes you on these journeys of the heart, of the soul, of the spirit, through the sound of her voice for the time of a song thank you Lara
Lara Fabian is my Nr ONE female singer of all time. This version is great...But the version that really stands out as perfekt is the version from "Lara with Love" Nobody can top that...Amazing performance...Amazing concert...From 1999. Check that out.
Hey my man. Yeah, when someone the caliber of Floor Jansen looks to do a cover or a tribute, she looks to the very best. This isn't my bag, either, but Lara is just so good. 😁👍
Adagio lyrics were written by Lara Fabian, Rick Allison, and Dave Pickell, and the music was composed by Remo Giazotto and Tomaso Albinoni, that's probably one reason why Lara sings the song with so much heart. Her voice has an amazing quality to it as well that sets it apart from others.
Gracias!
You have just met the best. Please react to Lara's: Je suis malade, Broken vows, Your not from here, Je t'aime, Perdere l'amore, Caruso, Love by Grace, Quedate, Pas sans toi, Tango, Requiem pour un fou, and more. These are a mix of her most famous French, English, Spanish, and Italian songs. Many of those are part of her "2000 Lara with Love" concert. There is an upgraded version of these online, and the subtitles are enclosed as well as a short message from Lara before she sings. It is very important to view the video to the complete end as her reactions are priceless. Lara has a great fan base, and they will appreciate your reaction.
Lara studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels from the age of 8 to 18, she moved to Quebec but launched her career in Montreal, she is the best female artist, there are many voices out there, but she has everything to be the best.
The music for Adagio in G minor for violin, strings and organ continuo is a Neo-Baroque composition popularly attributed to the 18th century Venetian master Tomaso Albinoni, but in fact composed almost entirely by the 20th century musicologist and Albinoni biographer Remo Giazotto. In 1999 Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics to the melody for Adagio.
It is during this performance that she wears a corset: Lara Fabian - ** Je T'aime ** Live @ Royal Albert Hall 2011 [HQ] ruclips.net/video/uBK27MbfKgE/видео.htmlsi=cBaDy5PI0jBpO6s-
This video is from the Mademoiselle Zhivago concert at the Kremlin. The one she performed at on morphine because she cracked her spine was at a special concert for Igor Krutoy in London, and she sang Je T'aime. It's this one, and she's amazing. ruclips.net/video/U8FVQKECGD4/видео.htmlsi=65lcjBPATj1xjvBf
Ahora reacciona a Adagio en voz de Dimash, él es fan de Lara y también han cantado juntos en Ti amo Cosi... Lara es fantástica, pero si no conoces a Dimash debes buscarlo. Un saludo.
You need to check out the version from her 2001 concert From Lara With Love as it’s even better. Other tracks from that concert are - A Broken Vow - Je Suis Malade (I Am Sick)
She should have been the 4th legends of the 90's vocalist supremes but due to some problem with her record label and something to do with Celine Dion, she never got her chance to come to America/United States. Most of us here still don't know about her. Tragedy.
That was great but her best performance of this song was in a small concert in 1999 from Lara with love. Also check out Broken Vow. Utterly heartbreaking.
So glad you wandered into the world of Lara Fabian. Apart from mis pronouncing the name lol I enjoyed your reaction. I hope you will do some more of her music, Je Taime Broken Vow or Je suiss Malade to name a few xx
This is nothing listen her sing Adagio on her concert " From Lara with love" also live❤. She is a diva. A real singer. And her live singing is more then " on top" ❤
Great reaction Arias! 💖💖Lara is an amazing singer, you should listen to her randition of "Je suis malade", she will blow your mind, one again. On a different note, you should listen to Dimash Qudaibergen's version of Adagio from the The Singer. Lara has been Dimash's idol for many years. Dimash will blow your mind as well, as he is considered the best singer of our generation. You will see the similarities between him and Lara. Hope to see you there. Love from Canada 🥰
🇨🇦 Below I see you have seen the comments from Eric Sicard ! Pay special attention to what he has to say about her and about the song ! Lara (not Laura) is simply the Best ! Now try reacting to her duet with Johnny Hallyday called "Requiem, pour un fou" !
What a fire performance! And yes I know I mispronounced Adagio multiple times... 😂
Yes, Ah Dah Jo. Next, Je Suis Malade, or j swee ma la dah, with English subtitles.
you should check the version in the "lara with love" concert
I have. And i agree, it is a very different version, but sometimes it is nice to see how an extra few years or so of experience plays into the interpretation.@@astaroth67400
You are not the only one that was BLOWN AWAY
Fantastic reaction ❤
Well she’s the SECOND best female singer in French waaaayyy behind Céline Dion
She's the best pop singer...no wait, she's the best ballad singer...no wait, she's the best concert singer....no wait, she's the best singer.
Floor who…?🤩”
And by the way, Lara is classically trained in opera.
Her version of "Je Suis Malade" with sub titles is stunning!!!! It is from her "From Lara with love". Trust me, you will be tearing up and blown away
I concur! And let me add my personal favorites to the list: Caruso and Requiem pour un fou the duet with Johnny Hallyday for some rock vibes by Lara.
Hell yes❤❤❤
And add to this short list : Extrait de Yentl (ruclips.net/video/zW8lalHMwxk/видео.html). Two songs from Barbra Streisand...live...in a row...(Papa can you hear me, and Piece of Sky)
True, This isn’t my favorite! But still, it’s Lara !
One of the best vocalist ever...welcome to the world of Lara Fabian...great reaction appreciate you👍.
And that just is not her best version, the one live from Lara’s with live concert… is a masterpiece.
Yes...agreed, must watch from that concert...the best version!

Bonjour, lara est exceptionnelle, elle chante avec dimash, qui peut le faire….? Bravo belles réactions. Prenez soin de vous ❤
More information on Lara Fabian:
Lara is recognized as one of the best vocalist ever seen on earth and all professionals list her in the top vocalist tier with Barbra, Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Lisa Fischer, ....
So she is one of the best vocalist ever, but on top of that, she adds a few things that make her an absolute package with no equivalence:
• she speaks 2 languages natively (french, italian), and 2 others fluently (english, spanish), can speak a bit of dutch (and sicilian), and understand quite well russian and portuguese. She has sung in 12 languages in total
• she is an amazing songwriter and wrote lyrics for 200+ songs, in the 4 languages she speaks fluently. She often co-composes the music with the composer.
• she acts and performs on stage as nobody else, she colors and reveals the meaning of every single word in the songs, and her ability to emote, to draw you in is second to none
• she is the sweetest soul on earth, very humble, down to earth and benevolent. She likes to meet others, and her fans are always pleasantly surprised when this happens.
A quick background on her and her career:
She is belgian, her father is flemish, but also has italian roots (her mother is from sicilia) and American roots ( her grandfather is from Detroit).
She just moved
back to Italy a few months ago (temporarily?).
Many of her songs became classics and were covered by the other singing legends: Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey, Josh Groban (they are friends and he told she is a role model for him), Linda Eder, …
With her success in Europe, Brazil and part of Asia, she is the inspiration of the new generation of vocalists: most of them are coming from there.
Thru their covers of Lara Fabian songs, USA and many other countries are now rediscovering her.
She is Dimash's idol:
I’ve read somewhere that, when he was a child, he was listening her songs every night to get asleep.
He covered many of her songs, most of these were composed by Igor Krutoy and written by by Lara.
Out of my mind I can list:
○ Adagio (She wrote it and is the original performer),
○ Mademoiselle Hyde (she wrote it and is the original performer),
○ Love of Tired Swans (she wrote the song in French under the title "Je t'aime encore" and was the original performer of the french then the russian versions, Dimash covered the russian version)
○ Ascolta La Voce / Vocalize (this was a pure vocalization and she was the original performer, then lyrics were added for Dimash and it was rebranded as "Know")
She also wrote the lyrics of Dimash's song "Your Love".
Many other top vocalists from the current generation covered her songs, some have Lara as a role model and big inspiration:
○ Floor Jansen (Adagio),
○ Polina Gagarina (Adagio, Je t’aime),
○ Diana Ankudinova (Tomorrow is a lie),
○ Morissette Amon (Broken Vow),
○ Gabriel Henrique (Love by Grace),
○ Cakra Khan (Broken Vow),
○ Katrina Velarde (Broken Vow),
○ Regine Velasquez (Broken Vow),
○ Dmitri Hvorostovsky (Adagio),
○ Giulia Falcone (Adagio, Caruso, Je suis malade, Je t'aime),
○ Forestella (Je suis Malade),
○ Almira (from 4th Impact band) (Broken Vow),
○ Gigi de Lana (Broken Vow)
○ Julie Anne san Jose (Adagio, Broken Vow),
○ Rimar ( Adagio, Broken Vow, Know),
○ Il Divo (Adagio)
○ Daria Bentsa (I guess I loved you),
○ Sarah Geronimo (Broken Vow)
○ Laura Bretan ( Adagio, Caruso),
○ Jackie Evancho (Je t’aime, Caruso and Broken Vow, BV rewritten as « Imaginer » by Lara for Jackie),
○ Amir (Je t’aime),
○ Vitas (Adagio),
○ Anastasia Luna (Adagio),
○ Jeck (Je T’Aime),
○ Evgenia Fanfara (Adagio),
○ Anna Eriksson (Je suis malade),
○ Choi Sung Hoon (Je suis malade),
○ Soprano Turetsky band (Adagio)
○ Majda Roumi (Adagio),
○ Harrison Craig (Broken Vow),
○ Petra Berger (Adagio, Broken Vow),
○ Katerina Maslova (Je t’aime, I guess I loved you)
○ Sevara Nazarkhan (Je t’aime)
○ ....
Stupenda, emozionante come sempre.
Genreless - perfect! She is amazing! I love your reaction. ❤
Just as Dimash Qudaibergen is the top male vocalist on the planet,
Lara Fabian is the top female vocalist.
She is in Russia for this performance and that pianist is Igor Krutoy, the very famous composer who also works with Diana and Dimash.
You are absolutely correct that she is an Angel, in heart, soul and voice.
Yes she can sing Opera but also Pop and a wide range of other genres. She also sings beautifully completely devoid of any instrumentation.😉
Je Suis Malade is a masterpiece but she has so many beautiful and amazing songs to check out.🌹❤️🔥🌹
I am happy to hear that you are excited by all the new music but you have barely scratched the surface. The world outside of the USA is filled with top level musicians that your music industry does not make any profit on.☹️😢

By the way Celine is one of Dimash’s inspirations. Cry about it
Lara Fabian is the original singer of Adagio an she wrote the lyrics of Adagio ...

You should do Lara singing Je Suit Malade. Do it with subs. She sings it in French. You'll cry.

Yes...I'm excited to see your reaction when watch that version🤗
She still is at her best. Her technique didnt faint
This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Julie Anne San Jose, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , …
They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love.

Her italian version is also amazing. A famous italian version:

You have found greatness my man! Here you go!!!
Lara Fabian is a World Star and she will remain so forever!!!!
This concert is one of the performances of Moscow! (Igor Krutoy at the piano!)
A “50 at 50” - fifty live performances celebrating her 50th birthday had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 and was rescheduled as “The Best of Lara.”
I’m a ‘fan’ because of her high level ‘EQ’ (emotional intelligence) expressed in the text of her songs.
La raison pour laquelle je suis un « fan » de Lara Fabian est son « QE » élevé, qu’elle exprime dans le texte de ses chansons.

Need to listen to her first concert From Lara with Love. Singing this song and Broken Vow
Plus Lara wrot the most of her songs. Love Lara

Hello Arias !!
Amicalement 🙏🏼👍❤️🇫🇷
she has a documentry as well must watch
She is one the best ❤❤❤🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱
Браво Лара👍👏🫶♥️
I enjoy listening to Lara Fabian. She is a marvelous vocal talent. All I can say is thank goodness that we have so many beautiful voices in the world today, and that we have access to them in a way we didn't in the past.
You need to watch her performance in her tour From Lara with love
That live performance was in Russia .The best one (live) is on " From Lara with love." It's her best ever.
Lara is masterclass ❤️
She's born Belgian and since 1995 she has her canadian citizenship.
Also, I would recommend “Je Suis Malade” or “Caruso” from her. They are incredible
A Queen! Queen of Emotions. I've seen her live last year. It was amazing. Years are kind to her, she hasn't lost a bit, natural beauty, she lives a normal life, acts as a very normal person, nonpretentious..... A true lady!
Coming from a prog/metal guy.
An absorber of music bravo! Thanks x
She's a Lyric Soprano. She is a trained opera singer but this genre would be Popular Crossover.
Lara is BELGIAN CANADIAN SINGER FLUENT IN 4 LANGUAGES.THIS CONCERT WAS IN MOSCOW SEVERAL YEARS AGO. PIANIST IS IGOR KRUTOY.
And now, je suis malade, Caruso, you're not from here, broken vow ...
Then you’re jaw with hit the ground!
all i can say is goosbumps the whole way through it
You need to react to YOU ARE NOT FROM HERE, this song is amazing. Lara is unique. From his concert Lara with love, Lara goes straight to your soul

Please check Je suis malade from Lara it means I'm sick. You will have chills on every part of your body. Lynda from Québec, Canada. Enjoy.
Check her concert from lara with love
I am dutch but i am a biggest fan of lara fabian ❤🇳🇱🇳🇱🇨🇼🇨🇼🇨🇼
Welcome in Lara's world
She has two native languages : french( father is belgian) and italian( her mother was sicilian) ... so she knows how to pronounce ADAGIO.
Her belgian father speaks flemish and french, her Italian mother Italian. In fact she understands flemish as well
Amigo, ainda bem que você descobriu, Lara Fabian!
Ela é simplesmente: Maravilhosa!
Thanks for react!
The version of Adagio taken from the concert "From Lara with love is a materpiece". You should have a look on it 😊
Welcome to the Lara effect. You will never be the same.
Can't wait for you to react to Lara's ADAGIO from Lara with love concert.
That's Lara's more powerful version of Adagio with her prime voice.!
Gracias!
Adagio means slowly and refers to a piece which should be played in slow time.
FYI.....Adagio is Lara's original song......everyone else is a cover
Born in belgium she sings in 6 language speak to
Lara wrote the lyrics. She is original
Lara studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels from the age of 8 to 18, she moved to Quebec but launched her career in Montreal, she is the best female artist, there are many voices out there, but she has everything to be the best.
Lara Fabian is a Belgium born Canadian singer who has lived in Montreal since 1995 with her family.
I think this show is the one where she broke some ribs during the day. she sings in a corset and she's on painkillers
It is during this performance that she wears a corset:

This video is from the Mademoiselle Zhivago concert at the Kremlin. The one she performed at on morphine because she cracked her spine was at a special concert for Igor Krutoy in London, and she sang Je T'aime. It's this one, and she's amazing.

Ahora reacciona a Adagio en voz de Dimash, él es fan de Lara y también han cantado juntos en Ti amo Cosi... Lara es fantástica, pero si no conoces a Dimash debes buscarlo. Un saludo.
Je sius malade broken val from the concert lara with love pleaseyou will be in chock
'Je _Suis_ Malade' , 'Broken _Vow_ ' '.. in _shock_ '
You need to check out the version from her 2001 concert From Lara With Love as it’s even better.
Other tracks from that concert are
- A Broken Vow
- Je Suis Malade (I Am Sick)
She should have been the 4th legends of the 90's vocalist supremes but due to some problem with her record label and something to do with Celine Dion, she never got her chance to come to America/United States. Most of us here still don't know about her. Tragedy.
More Lara❤❤❤
Dimash love her❤
Lara is one of a kind and should be much more famous, but that's the music industry for you. She is a story teller pur sang.
❤️
I'm a Dear as well
🇨🇦 Below I see you have seen the comments from Eric Sicard ! Pay special attention to what he has to say about her and about the song ! Lara (not Laura) is simply the Best !
Now try reacting to her duet with Johnny Hallyday called "Requiem, pour un fou" !
