Such fun… I don’t have a feather weight machine… might might adapt & draught a pattern for my a BERNINA 790 plus. What joyful projects you bring to us. Thank you Laura. J from uk
She never claimed it wasn't from lisa. She said she got the kit at the featherweight shop. Laura did nothing wrong. She didn't sell the pattern or say anything about the pattern. It clearly said Lisa Pay on the pattern. No copyright infringement.
@@efkay93 they aren't selling the pattern. They even tell you where to get it and tell you it's free. They are selling wool felt. Maybe you should have I don't know checked the link see what it had to say
That's cute, but I love the magnetic pin holders. Instead of having to stick each pin into a cushion, I put the magnet behind my machine and just toss them at it. It grabs just about every pin, and if not, you just turn it upside down and swipe it over the area and it cleans them up pronto! (Works for the ones dropped on the floor, too.)
Oh my gosh! I’m going to have to order this! I have three black featherweights and one white one, and they all work perfectly. I only discovered them about three years ago and when I see a good deal, I try to get it. But I certainly don’t need or want anymore, it gets expensive trying to keep them in good shape. I love all your tutorials and I’m glad I came across this one today.
This is so cute❤ Credit to Lisa Pay is in the channel description and Featherweight Website. Thank you to Lisa, Featherweight and Laura for the pleasure of making this cute little pin cushion.
9:30 instead of putting the sharp/pointed end of the sewing machine needle down, I might put the shank down and bury the point in the stuffing, just giving the illusion of a needle. 💕🌞🌵😷
I agree…. Lisa Pay @ Pay it forward……😮 she gave this pattern to everyone for free…. So I hope Featherweight did not sell this ……perhaps they have an agreement with LP….. if so it’ll be free there also!
This pattern is from Lisa Pay pay it forward. You can get everything you need there for free. So not cool taking another creators content as your own. Not cool….
Where did she say she was passing off the pattern as her own? She said she bought her pattern from the Featherweight Shop. They should be the one you’re angry at. She also has the link to the free pattern on this tutorial. Did you complain when she did a tutorial on the Legit pattern or any of the other patterns that she has done tutorials on?
You imply that she knew someone else had a video similar to it. How was she supposed to know. Besides she got the pattern somewhere else. She's not the one selling it. She thought it was cute and made it. There's nothing wrong with anything she did. If you think the pattern is too similar then take it up with the pattern company
It is wonderful that the sewing community is so tight and Lisa Pay has such a loyal following! Her designs (and accent 😉) are adorable. Yes, her templates are a free download and have been linked along with her original video tutorial on our website. You can make your own using your personal supplies, but if wool is not in your stash then the kit is available for purchase to get started using her free template. Be sure and read the full product description for all the details.
I thought so too but she does link Lisa Pay in the description. She bought a kit from the featherweight shop which according to the featherweight shop includes Lisa’s pattern. I just wish she’d given Lisa a mention and a shout out. I hate when content creators don’t give a shout out to the pattern designers when using free patterns. She hasn’t actually done anything wrong in buying a kit and showing how to make something.
I'm saddened to see that such a well established RUclips channel as Laura's is unwittingly promoting a design where the company* she bought the product from is in 100% breach of pattern copyright. For those of you wishing to produce the sewing machine pin cushion for yourselves, then I urge you to go to ruclips.net/video/By5dyt3SNpQ/видео.html where the designer, Lisa Pay, offers her pattern for FREE - amongst a hundred others! That same video will also walk you through the construction process. If you'd rather be ripped off for almost $30 for a few bits of cheap felt, along with paper templates belonging to someone else and singer-lightweight's interpretation of Lisa's instructions, then go ahead. I just hope you can live with your conscience. *The company knows it's using someone else's pattern - because they have Lisa's link on their webpage!
The featherweight shop says right in black and white that it's a free pattern and where to get it. Maybe you should have actually looked before speaking/typing
@@sewcute_sewvintage Yes Laura, I pointed that fact out. However, the company is breaching copyright law by SELLING a pattern it neither owns nor has permission to do so! My anger is with them - not you!

I have had the pattern for a few years, but never attempted to make it. My sister in law is a very experienced sewer and she said that it was very difficult to make, and she said she wouldn’t make another one. I love her sewing machine pincushion. @payitforward Lisa Pay, pay it forward.
Fun and whimsical. I make my own but in full it with steel wool to keep needles pins sharp. Thank you. This will make a nice gift idea for sewers
oh my gosh! so sweet And as always you are so clear with explaining "how to"
Laura, thankyou so much for sharing this with us. I appreciate you and all your lovely work and instructions. This is adorable!!!! Hugs, Chel 🌸

What a gorgeous little pincushion Laura. What a happy find to get the pattern at the featherweight shop. It looks so good looks so good.
The 'featherweight shop' is infringing copyright by selling a pattern that they don't own!

You could put a magnet on the back of this? Or on the base of the “machine”?
I love this!!!!
I saw this demo'd on the FW YT channel... it is SEW cute! Im really thinking about making one to match my FW!
