Satan talking to Eve is similar to the way he tried to tempt Jesus in Matt 4 and Luke 4. Each time he quoted Scripture, but twisted what it really said. Every time, Jesus countered with “it is written.”

I have always said there are some things people should never learn. I have had many disputes with people who believe children need to learn the hard way or they will never become wise enough to understand why they shouldn't do certain things. I have always believed innocence should be protected and people from the time they are children shouldn't be exposed to the wickedness of the world. My first job I actually had a woman harass me in the workplace. One of my coworkers asked her why she was being so mean to me and the woman said because I was too nice and she didn't like me because of it. I tried not to take it personally and told myself she was going through something. She had been hurting and was angry because she thought my life was easier. It's funny now because I find myself struggling with the same thing she did. Not that I am mean, but struggling with comparing my life circumstances with those who haven't been through what I have and pass judgement on me. I can see now that I have failed by not teaching my children consistently about God. I brought darkness into my life and their lives. I hope anyone reading this will pray for me and my children.
I remember a teaching on this. Genesis 2:15 says God warned the man about eating the fruit and that he would die if he ate it. Afterwards, the woman was created - v.18. The woman may have never been told by God. She was probably told not to eat of the fruit by the man. Hence she fumbles with her understanding. The man "was with her" during the conversation with the serpent but the man didn't correct her...
I was told the woman ate the apple but had no accountability and would blame the man for their own mistake. Maybe we were both lied to so we could be divided.
I have heard two different theory's that either man didn't tell her or that he didn't communicate the message correctly but nowhere in the bible does it say that God told her but only Adam genesis 2:16-17
It appears that he told her something because she says we aren't even allowed to touch it. God never said not to touch it. I've wondered if he even gave her details, for example, why they can't eat it. I've also wondered if the curse was for her because it seems their eyes didn't open until Adam ate. I'm feeling like there was a huge lack of communication and therfore they were easily deceived. Plus, how do we know she didn't just hand him the fruit without telling him what it was. I've always been curious how this played out. If he was with her, why didn't he say anything?

(6:54) Answer could be: Satan uses the reasons we give to do a particular action to make us fall into disobeying God or sinning against God. Take this example: Your parents say that you do not have to go to that friend's house right now otherwise if you go then he might mistreat you. So, Satan can say like: you know your friend better than your parents, he will not do anything which will hurt you. Your parents are just afraid and over-caring. This twisted reason of Satan is enough for you to believe this twisted reason and consider your parents as afraid and over-caring. This will lead you to disobey your parents instructions and thus become a disobedient child. This is what the serpent did to EVE. If Eve wouldn't have told the the reason to the serpent then, serpent wouldn't have been able to deceive Eve. Notice, how serpent first twists the reason which God gave to Eve and then makes a wrong image of God that God doesn't want to give humans the fulness of His creation. Then, Eve got deceived. If the serpent would have just said "you would surely not die", Eve would just call the serpent a liar or wouldn't have been deceived. This is how Satan's deception works. So, I guess Eve must have made up or misunderstood the bit about how touching the tree would kill her, since she does not die when she picks the fruit. In fact, nothing special seems to happen until she (or both she and Adam) has eaten it. Either that, or it is a slow death, as in aging, and the effects aren't immediately noticeable.
Proverbs 18:21 the tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. So she took of its fruit and ate and she also gave some to her husband who was with her and he ate. Speech curse them ownselves.
I believe Adam was right there at the time. If he wasn't, there would be no reason to mention that he was with her. He was just waiting to see if she would die lol
As the one who named all living things, Adam must have known what he was given to eat by his wife was forbidden. I want to know why he ate it...What would the outcome have been if he hadn't eaten it?
Q. Why after Adam ate, A. Eve was made from Adam. She only exposed a small piece of the original Adam, the rib, to the fruit. Adam had to partake as well for the fully created man to participate in breaking the command.
Genesis 2:17 God told them that in the day they shall eat the tree of the knowledge of good and evil they shall surely die. Genesis 3:19 God declared death to Adam. The serpent lead Adam and Eve to death indeed.
Something small, but maybe they knew how to sew fig leaves from making baskets perhaps 🤷🏽♀️ also I don’t think Adam was too far from Eve but just far enough not to hear the conversation.
@@AboveReproachMinistry the fruit is referring to a sexual act mixing with the wise one when forbade; Love=loyalty/ obedience/virtue/empathy, & Eve did not follow this commandment & partook of the flesh...
When their eyes were opened, that's when they realized that this WHOLE time (since Adam first opened his eyes after Lord God, Jesus formed him of the dust and breathed life into him), that Jesus had been walking around in a White Robe, in His pre-incarnate body) and Adam and Eve, in their innocence, NEVER had any clothes on. They now KNEW this, and of course Jesus, Lord God, was the standard (as always). Wardrobe included. It was shameful to be Physically naked before the Lord God, Jesus. And they felt Spiritually naked for the first time too, because that was the first time they ever disobeyed God - and furthermore had attained knowledge through their act of disobedience, via pride They realized they were not clothed like Jesus in His pre-incarnate body, so they sewed Fig leaves together because there was nowhere to get White Robes Then again, personally I think the tree itself was a fig tree. Later to typify Israel in their naked shame having yet to be clothed by the "skin" of Jesus The Jews disobedient act towards heavenly Father was to reject Christ as Messiah, which is to reject the Tree of Life They reject the Lamb of God who takes the sins of the world away I believe that Adam and Eve accepted the lamb provided by Lord God Jesus because I believe it was a lamb in the garden that Jesus sacrificed. It represented Grace, forgiveness, and covering, The garments of Christ (Himself) Adam and Eve gladly accepted it They just had to then reap what they sewed 😢 But that's why we're here now 😅, and born Even again, because our 1st mom and dad had sex after that Genesis is so deep
You said that eve said if we eat from the tree we will die ...was not said by God and it was ...God said it when he first tells of the tree ....he did not say touch ...but he did say you would die in that day that they ate...gen 2...17
Simple, you take a vine, punch two holes in the leaves.pushvthe vine through the leafs tie a knot, your dressed. At that time killing an animal never entered their minds.Jesus killed the first animals to make them clothing, and taught them the first animal sacrifice.ThatschoecCain and Abel learned.Of course since Cain was a tiller of the land he ignored Gods fommand of a meat offering, and tried w vegetable sacrifice which was rejected.
Why not repent of God's gnosis of good and evil? Then iniquity won't be found in you so you won't be a worker of it and you won't be asked to depart into outer darkness.
I believe God's word specifically says it was fig leaves - because the tree was a fig tree (jst my opinion) The bigger picture is the naked, Christless, shamefulness of Israel the fig tree and throughout the Bible nakedness is bundled with shame - when nakedness is not in innocence. Even the priests could not walk up steps to the altar so that their nakedness would be not exposed to God. It would be shameful Adam and Eve lost their innocence ("the guide of their youth") when they partook of the forbidden fruit and entered into their new mortal age of knowledge of Good and Evil In Proverbs David speaks of the strange women, " Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God it this way, " ---------------------------------- When Adam forsook the guide of his youth, and he realized his nakedness, ie, his shame - he reached for the leaves from the fig tree? to clothe themselves. He knew how to sew because he had knowledge - but don't forget that you even still have knowledge in your innocence because that is how Adam named all the animals, in the knowledge of his innocence. I mean even a young innocent child before he reaches the age of accountability, will attain knowledge of how to put a round peg in a round hole in; his innocence Adam displayed an act of Works based Righteousness to appear Justified before God I believe that it was Jesus in His pre-incarnate body who is the Lord, God walking in the garden Those are the footsteps that Adam and Eve heard I believe Jesus took a lamb and slaughtered it in Adams presence and broke Adams heart because Adam is the one that named the lamb, "lamb", in the first place. They were friends. Adam knew the lamb was innocent and was probably shattered! I believe then Jesus used the skin (see Heb def for "skin") from the slaughtered animal to clothe Adam and Eve This is the act of Grace - as opposed to man's Works base righteousness, which man cannot boast about during the process/act of salvation So here we see the first sacrifice in the Bible. And we know what the big picture is as far as Sacrifice and Grace and Forgiveness and God clothing our shame and our nakedness by providing His imputed righteousness upon us through the life garment of His Son Jesus; through our belief ------------------------------ I also believe that some time had elapsed before Adam took his first bite. I say this because Paul teaches us that Eve was tempted not Adam. I believe that Eve's eyes opened first - and the script leaves room for that even the way it is worded. It definitely does not mean that Eve attained this knowledge of Good and Evil ONLY after Adam took the bite. It could be taken that, "NOW at this time, BOTH and not jst one's eyes were opened". I am not trying to add to the text to make my point, I'm simply pointing out that there is room for that understanding within that verse. Think of it this way, whenever I break one of God's commandments, I don't have to wait for someone else to break His commandment to realize that I broke it - get it? To the shallow mind it could easily appear otherwise; But we know how God's "deep calls to deep" - and the wording of this verse leaves room for Eve's eyes having been opened first. ( too hard to explain the understanding in a RUclips comment section) And if Adam - who surly would have been Bold in his innocence - was present when Eve was being tempted, surely Adam would have spoke up Adam probably underwent his own Temptations through Eve - and maybe in conjunction with his personal desire within to partake, maybe it was a Romeo and Juliet type event because Adam new she was going to die, and he surly loved her to the bone; The bone of his very own rib ------------------------------ Lastly, we know they were forgiven and they went to heaven because Adam is listed in the genealogy, (of Luke I believe), as a son of God And sons of God do Not go to hell And once again, Jesus displayed Grace and forgiveness when He clothed Adam and Eve - for Jesus so loved Adam and Eve that he gave to them a begotten lamb and would not let them live out the rest of their life in their UN-forgave, fig Leaf sewn works of righteousness, clothing They put on the offered and provided Garment of Christ. And they probably put the garments on freely. The text doesn't say this but Adam and Eve could have rejected the clothing, right? Because I believe if we have the choice to be clothed with Christ through our belief, they themselves believed that Christ was offering them something better through his love But they had to reap what they sewed because God laid the rules down Even in our case, Grace may be upon us when we were born again, but we still (oftentimes) have to reap what we have sown The text doesn't say this, but I think these words were spoken by Jesus that day, " Adam, Eve, I forgive you. I love you. Question: did they finish eating the whole fig? Or was one bite enough?
@@dancingnoodles152 Holy Spirit showed me this about 1:00 a.m. one night around 6 years ago. It was all centered around my lifelong question of what it meant to be "made in the image and likeness of God" It started in Genesis 1 when we see the title God, ONLY. (approx 32 's) And then in Genesis 2 for the first time we see the title "Lord God". A more personal Title. Ok, now keep in mind that we as Christians have read the rest of the Bible and the Parables. We've learned that in The Parables, Heavenly Father sent His Son to plant a Vineyard Vineyard is referring to the people in the Kingdom on Earth (as well as the kingdom of Earth itself) In essence, in Genesis chapter 2 we see Jesus beginning to plant the 'vineyard of man'; as He was sent by His/ our, Father to do so I would imagine that Adam was made about the approximate height of Lord Jesus that day, when Jesus, the Potter, made Adam with His very own hands and then He blew the Breath/ Spirit of Life into Adams newly formed body (that just reminded me of Jesus breathing the Spirit upon His apostles when He walked into the room that day; post resurrection) Lord God is a more personal title directed to Jesus, although we know that Father goes by Lord as well (actually, "LORD") "LORD said unto my Lord" Ps 110 (meaning: FATHER said to HIS Son) ((notice the different capitalization on Father's title)) In Genesis chapter 1 and in the beginning of chapter 2, "God" is a reference to His Oneness of His Spirit, Body, Soul (and we've been created in His image and possess a body, spirit, and soul. THAT IS THE SIMPLICITY AND ANSWER TO: What does it mean to be "created in His image and likeness", AKA: Body, Spirit, Soul Body = Jesus Spirit = Father's Spirit Soul = Father (the completeness and entirety of God, Himself) Moving on, we also know that the "Angel of the Lord", (angel, when it is capitalized: Angel), a reference to Jesus in the Old Testament. It was Jesus, the Angel of the Lord, that Jacob wrestled with before Jacob got his name changed to Israel that morning Now consider John chapter 17 verse 1 when Jesus says "restore to me the glory that I had with you from the beginning". This constitutes a lot which Jesus is asking - but one thing for sure is Jesus is talking about his Immortal, pre-incarnate body that He would receive again post-resurrection. That which He had from the beginning. That would be the same body He had when He was in the garden making and forming Adam and even walking in the garden with Adam Jesus had a body and that is how Adam and Eve heard Jesus walking in the garden when they were shamefully hiding behind the tree. The footsteps of Jesus crackling on the leaves and brush It's so beautiful Thank you Holy Spirit (Haha - i hope that was ur question, brother) Ps: sidenote - now that Jesus is fully restored with "the glory that He had from the beginning", that means Jesus now knows all things as with His Father. That means Jesus knows when He's coming back! Of course, he did not know that and His fleshly mortal body - and that is why he told the disciples not even the Son of man knows that day But notice an Acts chapter 1 (post-Resurrection) Jesus answers thier question about restoring the kingdom. He said, " those things are not for you to know" ;) I believe He answered differently, this time, because He knows the answer now The Peace of Christ be with you, friend. Thank you for listening. It seems fewer people are interested in the deeper things of God nowadays. I love how the person who makes these videos studies! That is exactly how Holy Spirit leads me to study. The questions that we have that we ask, are questions that Holy Spirit gives us to ask - when we ask the right questions :) His deep calls to deep
Your version is basic seminary teaching that is being regurgitated in another form. It is all a metaphorical story containing esoteric information. Jesus often spoke of having "eyes to see" and "ears to hear" when referring to wisdom to understand. Christ himself is the Tree of Life. Eating his fruit (filling yourself with his teachings) leads to eternal life. The serpent is a person spreading venom (poisonous lies). Jesus warned to avoid people with the characteristics of a beast, dog or swine. The lie is that they gained knowledge or intelligence not wisdom (they are not the same thing). They were naked (no longer covered by God's righteousness). Jesus cursed the fig tree on the roadside for having leaves but no fruit ( they grow at the same time with the leaves sheltering the fruit from the birds of the air) just as Adam had no wisdom which God expected him to have, since he was covered with leaves.
That's why we're doing this in small portions and going through a chapter every week with several videos, because it is a lot to digest, and for many people, this is very new, and hard to comprehend. So, we want to work with people at the most helpful pace they're able to walk at
@@AboveReproachMinistry I believe we are to shine our light before men (be an example by the way we live) and share the Word in parabolic form just as Jesus did. Those with eyes to see and ears to hear (wisdom to understand) will come to the light. He said he came for those given him by his father. His sheep would know his voice and follow him. His church is built upon being able to recognize him as the Christ without being told. The parables are his winnowing fan that is used to separate the wheat from the chaff ( the spiritually minded from the carnal minded). Not only are we disciples , but we are also gatekeepers .
About the fig leaves: Fig trees excrete a sticky liquid that stains your hands and attracts dirt. I can’t imagine those dresses being durable, so even though they covered themselves, they probably wouldn’t have been able to do much, except sit around, wait for the leaves to dry out and become brittle, fall off and expose their stained bodies. Despite their best efforts they would always end up dirty and naked. On top of that, fig leaves don’t really have a nice texture. They’re kind of rough and scratchy. So yes, there might be some significance in the fact that the Bible mentions that piece of detail.
You missed one of the most important things that you could've taught your viewers. I went and looked. You have no understanding of the second day of Creation. You said Yah created "sky". How does the sky separate the waters from the waters? How did Yah open windows in the sky to flood the Earth and where did all that water go? Why does the Bible tell us that the Earth does not move and that it has a foundation and pillars? Where is the bottom to the bottomless pit if we live on a globe? Psalms 19:1 says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork." How does "sky" show His handiwork? How does He place the sun, moon and stars within the firmament? He also teaches us that the moon IS a light. Joshua bid the sun and moon to be still, not the Earth. You believe Heliocentrism where the "planets" (all named after pagan gods) and the Earth orbit the sun- the sun god. Pagans worship the sun. This is not what the scriptures teach. Why do you think that the world gets so very angry about "Flat Earth"? Because exposing Heliocentrism destroys many other lies as well.
I don't get mad at flat earth. I just disagree after studying and researching the "Evidence" for myself. That's ok though. We can agree to disagree as we honestly and objectively read the scriptures and come to different conclusions. It's a secondary issue. This doesn't mean it's a non-issue, but it is NOT ultimate.

Where else in the Scriptures "has God said..." regarding any specific word, sentence, or meaning?
I believe Adam was right there at the time. If he wasn't, there would be no reason to mention that he was with her. He was just waiting to see if she would die lol
Ya it’s interesting 🤔
As the one who named all living things, Adam must have known what he was given to eat by his wife was forbidden. I want to know why he ate it...What would the outcome have been if he hadn't eaten it?
Q. Why after Adam ate,
They made themselves,,, aprons
the serpent was making war in heaven b4 he end up the garden and talked to Eve. 😮
Something small, but maybe they knew how to sew fig leaves from making baskets perhaps 🤷🏽♀️ also I don’t think Adam was too far from Eve but just far enough not to hear the conversation.
The tree was not a tree that apple's are produced from...👁️🦁
Tell me more
@@AboveReproachMinistry the fruit is referring to a sexual act mixing with the wise one when forbade; Love=loyalty/ obedience/virtue/empathy, & Eve did not follow this commandment & partook of the flesh...
When their eyes were opened, that's when they realized that this WHOLE time (since Adam first opened his eyes after Lord God, Jesus formed him of the dust and breathed life into him), that Jesus had been walking around in a White Robe, in His pre-incarnate body)
and Adam and Eve, in their innocence, NEVER had any clothes on. They now KNEW this, and of course Jesus, Lord God, was the standard (as always). Wardrobe included.
It was shameful to be Physically naked before the Lord God, Jesus.
And they felt Spiritually naked for the first time too, because that was the first time they ever disobeyed God - and furthermore had attained knowledge through their act of disobedience, via pride
They realized they were not clothed like Jesus in His pre-incarnate body, so they sewed Fig leaves together because there was nowhere to get White Robes
Then again, personally I think the tree itself was a fig tree.
Later to typify Israel in their naked shame having yet to be clothed by the "skin" of Jesus
The Jews disobedient act towards heavenly Father was to reject Christ as Messiah, which is to reject the Tree of Life
They reject the Lamb of God who takes the sins of the world away
I believe that Adam and Eve accepted the lamb provided by Lord God Jesus
because
I believe it was a lamb in the garden that Jesus sacrificed.
It represented Grace, forgiveness, and covering, The garments of Christ (Himself)
Adam and Eve gladly accepted it
They just had to then reap what they sewed 😢
But that's why we're here now 😅, and born Even again, because our 1st mom and dad had sex after that
Genesis is so deep
Why did Noahs sons walk backwards
Because the magpie would attack if they looked away.
@@reclaimtheframenow that's funny😅
@user-ru....
Awesome point about shame and nakedness!
You said that eve said if we eat from the tree we will die ...was not said by God and it was ...God said it when he first tells of the tree ....he did not say touch ...but he did say you would die in that day that they ate...gen 2...17
Bc… they were the closest thing around 😂
We do not know what Adam told Eve that God told Adam.
Who's on first?
I believe God's word specifically says it was fig leaves - because the tree was a fig tree (jst my opinion)
The bigger picture is the naked, Christless, shamefulness of Israel the fig tree
and throughout the Bible nakedness is bundled with shame - when nakedness is not in innocence.
Even the priests could not walk up steps to the altar so that their nakedness would be not exposed to God. It would be shameful
Adam and Eve lost their innocence ("the guide of their youth") when they partook of the forbidden fruit and entered into their new mortal age of knowledge of Good and Evil
In Proverbs David speaks of the strange women,
" Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God it this way, "
----------------------------------
When Adam forsook the guide of his youth, and he realized his nakedness, ie, his shame - he reached for the leaves from the fig tree? to clothe themselves.
He knew how to sew because he had knowledge - but don't forget that you even still have knowledge in your innocence because that is how Adam named all the animals, in the knowledge of his innocence.
I mean even a young innocent child before he reaches the age of accountability, will attain knowledge of how to put a round peg in a round hole in;
his innocence
Adam displayed an act of Works based Righteousness to appear Justified before God
I believe that it was Jesus in His pre-incarnate body who is the Lord, God walking in the garden
Those are the footsteps that Adam and Eve heard
I believe Jesus took a lamb and slaughtered it in Adams presence and broke Adams heart because Adam is the one that named the lamb, "lamb", in the first place.
They were friends.
Adam knew the lamb was innocent and was probably shattered!
I believe then Jesus used the skin (see Heb def for "skin") from the slaughtered animal to clothe Adam and Eve
This is the act of Grace - as opposed to man's Works base righteousness, which man cannot boast about during the process/act of salvation
So here we see the first sacrifice in the Bible.
And we know what the big picture is as far as Sacrifice and Grace and Forgiveness and God clothing our shame and our nakedness by providing His imputed righteousness upon us through the life garment of His Son Jesus; through our belief
------------------------------
I also believe that some time had elapsed before Adam took his first bite.
( too hard to explain the understanding in a RUclips comment section)
And if Adam - who surly would have been Bold in his innocence - was present when Eve was being tempted, surely Adam would have spoke up
Adam probably underwent his own Temptations through Eve - and maybe in conjunction with his personal desire within to partake, maybe it was a Romeo and Juliet type event because Adam new she was going to die, and he surly loved her to the bone;
The bone of his very own rib
------------------------------
Lastly, we know they were forgiven and they went to heaven because Adam is listed in the genealogy, (of Luke I believe), as a son of God
And sons of God do Not go to hell
And once again, Jesus displayed Grace and forgiveness when He clothed Adam and Eve - for Jesus so loved Adam and Eve that he gave to them a begotten lamb and would not let them live out the rest of their life in their UN-forgave, fig Leaf sewn works of righteousness, clothing
They put on the offered and provided Garment of Christ.
And they probably put the garments on freely.
The text doesn't say this but Adam and Eve could have rejected the clothing, right?
Because I believe if we have the choice to be clothed with Christ through our belief, they themselves believed that Christ was offering them something better through his love But they had to reap what they sewed because God laid the rules down
Even in our case, Grace may be upon us when we were born again, but we still (oftentimes) have to reap what we have sown
The text doesn't say this, but I think these words were spoken by Jesus that day, " Adam, Eve, I forgive you. I love you.
Question: did they finish eating the whole fig?
Or was one bite enough?
Can you elaborate on the last parts

Oh. I gottcha
Did you mean Jesus in His "Pre-incarnate" body?
( that is such an exciting topic)
@@dancingnoodles152
Holy Spirit showed me this about 1:00 a.m. one night around 6 years ago.
It was all centered around my lifelong question of what it meant to be "made in the image and likeness of God"
It started in Genesis 1 when we see the title God, ONLY. (approx 32 's)
And then in Genesis 2 for the first time we see the title "Lord God". A more personal Title.
Ok, now keep in mind that we as Christians have read the rest of the Bible and the Parables.
We've learned that in The Parables, Heavenly Father sent His Son to plant a Vineyard
Vineyard is referring to the people in the Kingdom on Earth (as well as the kingdom of Earth itself)
In essence, in Genesis chapter 2 we see Jesus beginning to plant the 'vineyard of man'; as He was sent by His/ our, Father to do so
I would imagine that Adam was made about the approximate height of Lord Jesus that day, when Jesus, the Potter, made Adam with His very own hands and then He blew the Breath/ Spirit of Life into Adams newly formed body
(that just reminded me of Jesus breathing the Spirit upon His apostles when He walked into the room that day; post resurrection)
Lord God is a more personal title directed to Jesus, although we know that Father goes by Lord as well
(actually, "LORD")
"LORD said unto my Lord" Ps 110
(meaning: FATHER said to HIS Son) ((notice the different capitalization on Father's title))
In Genesis chapter 1 and in the beginning of chapter 2, "God" is a reference to His Oneness of His Spirit, Body, Soul (and we've been created in His image and possess a body, spirit, and soul. THAT IS THE SIMPLICITY AND ANSWER TO: What does it mean to be "created in His image and likeness", AKA: Body, Spirit, Soul
Body = Jesus
Spirit = Father's Spirit
Soul = Father (the completeness and entirety of God, Himself)
Moving on, we also know that the "Angel of the Lord", (angel, when it is capitalized: Angel), a reference to Jesus in the Old Testament.
It was Jesus, the Angel of the Lord, that Jacob wrestled with before Jacob got his name changed to Israel that morning
Now consider John chapter 17 verse 1 when Jesus says "restore to me the glory that I had with you from the beginning".
This constitutes a lot which Jesus is asking - but one thing for sure is Jesus is talking about his Immortal, pre-incarnate body that He would receive again post-resurrection. That which He had from the beginning.
That would be the same body He had when He was in the garden making and forming Adam and even walking in the garden with Adam
Jesus had a body and that is how Adam and Eve heard Jesus walking in the garden when they were shamefully hiding behind the tree. The footsteps of Jesus crackling on the leaves and brush
It's so beautiful
Thank you Holy Spirit
(Haha - i hope that was ur question, brother)
Ps: sidenote - now that Jesus is fully restored with "the glory that He had from the beginning", that means Jesus now knows all things as with His Father.
That means Jesus knows when He's coming back!
Of course, he did not know that and His fleshly mortal body - and that is why he told the disciples not even the Son of man knows that day
But notice an Acts chapter 1 (post-Resurrection) Jesus answers thier question about restoring the kingdom. He said, " those things are not for you to know" ;)
I believe He answered differently, this time, because He knows the answer now
The Peace of Christ be with you, friend. Thank you for listening. It seems fewer people are interested in the deeper things of God nowadays.
I love how the person who makes these videos studies!
That is exactly how Holy Spirit leads me to study.
The questions that we have that we ask, are questions that Holy Spirit gives us to ask - when we ask the right questions :)
His deep calls to deep
Your version is basic seminary teaching that is being regurgitated in another form. It is all a metaphorical story containing esoteric information. Jesus often spoke of having "eyes to see" and "ears to hear" when referring to wisdom to understand. Christ himself is the Tree of Life. Eating his fruit (filling yourself with his teachings) leads to eternal life. The serpent is a person spreading venom (poisonous lies). Jesus warned to avoid people with the characteristics of a beast, dog or swine. The lie is that they gained knowledge or intelligence not wisdom (they are not the same
thing).
