From what I understand by listening to other Bible study videos is the phrase "Beasts of the Field" also refers to Fallen Angels.
That the Sepent in Genises was/is a Fallen Seraphim, also described as a Fiery Serpent in Scripture.
Taking that premises, for this particular Serpent, being made to forever crawl on his belly, indicates that his six wings are made useless.
Being made to eat dust, indicates that he can no longer eat Manna from Heaven, but rather c is only allowed to eat whatever comes from the dust of the Earth. People, animals, plants, sea creatures, etc.
Just some thoughts...
I think this is a lesson in accountability, when we are judged we will be alone with no one else to blame.
Yes to BOTH "covering" and "fear"
I just want to share, it just popped up to my mind. I remember when I dreamed about Jesus, He was so bright that upon seeing Him I was so scared because He was so holy and I am a sinner He didn't even said anything He just stretched out His arms like He's inviting me but I was so scared because I was not ready yet. I think you are right that the moment Adam and Eve ate the fruit they rebelled and became corrupted and the presence of God scared them because of its holiness. I still remember that feeling like I will die from His presence or I'm going to be judged or killed.
When one eats from the Tree of Life. They would live forever and ever in a sinful body. How horrible that would be.
I found it curious that Adam returned to the dust from which God said he came, and he is responsible for the ground, and part of the serpents curse is to now eat the "dust."
Fear wasn't instinct in my opinion, it came from the tree fruit.
I have raised 6 kids. The first time they do something dangerous they have zero fear or awareness until you tell them, “NO, danger!” Then after you draw the line in the sand they wait until your back is turned, and sneak around to try again. When they hear you coming they becoming fearful and hide. Not much different than Adam and Eve in the garden.
The same rebellious streak they had from day one was passed down to us. It does not stop is from responding to God’s ofer to change us, as Reformed theology teaches, but from the womb we do not want anyone telling us no.

@@noname-xq6tp They were given a beautiful garden with everything they needed, and where is the one place they are found? Hanging out right next to the line God drew in the sand. No different than a toddler when you give them ONE thing not to touch.
Eve was deceived, Adam certainly knew better and what did he do? Rebel. The Bible does not even say the this happened in course of time, or the next generation. The fall is the very first thing recorded after creation is completed.
I don’t think I am making a leap here. If “sin entering the world,” meant the desire or inclination first entered AFTER then the rebellion would not have happened. That was the first sin to take place.

I guess you could say the first person to blame their father for their own mistakes was Adam in a way. Good to know us dads aren't alone in this.
Your teachings are so insightful and relevant. I was also pondering about the appearance of the serpent. He must have had long, large legs and moved smoothly and in a way that was mesmerizing. Crafty in Hebrew can also mean smooth. Maybe the enemy used this particular beast’s body, because it was beautiful and moved smoothly and beautifully. Perhaps Eve paid attention to this beast, because it spoke and walked in an incredible way. The beast lost its legs and now slinks along on the ground.

Jesus has been forever changed. He is now not only God but man. He has the glory of God, but does also have a human resurrected, glorified body and in that we shall be like Him. He shares forever with us our humanity, but we are not, as He, God.

Who's lane are we coming from.
So, He asks Adam...where are you? To see if Adam confesses. Because he is guilty of disobeying God's command. And that is a sin. They didn't pay any attention to their nakedness before they sinned. I think they were covered in His righteousness. And lost it in their sin. A soul that sins, shall die. When we give ear to the evil one,Satan, it opens the door to him and leads us to distrust God. They must have felt guilty and afraid because they tried to hide themselves. Then He asks Eve, "what have you done?" She knows she disobeyed God, but doesn't confess. I believe it was most definitely a test. Of their love, loyalty and trust. It started with hearing the serpent and she continued to listen. She began to walk in the flesh and not The Spirit. The same way he tried to tempt Jesus. With disobedient words, sight and taste.
I think the reason why God was asking Adam a question because he was waiting for Adam to confess. He was giving Adam an opportunity to come clean. then Adam, instead of confessing, he tried to put the blame on someone else. Adam actually tried to imply that it was God for forgiving him Eve all you heard was excuses from Adam but the truth.
The "Wind" is the Ruach- the Spirit
The "day" is light ["the light He called *day* , and the darkness He called night"]
So you can see, "the wind of the day" would be the Spirit of light!
It says in the King James Bible, Genesis 3 v 8 that they heard the “voice” of the Lord walking in the garden in the cool of the day. So they were walking and they heard his voice.
Yes, the serpant and the earth are cursed...
However, it's not by God; it's the consequence of "the enmity between the woman and the Serpant that persists through their descendants", and "Adam tilling the earth for bread until he dies" respectively
Again, they-serpant and earth-are cursed "for our sake".
I'm not saying the serpant isn't bad.
They hid for themselves because they knew of their nakedness. We should remember that the tree of whom the LORD forbid them not to eat was the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

I pondered, how did they not get that God always knew they were naked, before they knew they were naked?
He calls to the man, for the same reason it is called the sin of Adam. Adam was supposed to be the head, so he is held responsible. Here is a question. If Adam had corrected Eve, would they have fallen at that moment?
The reason Adam was ashamed he was naked is because he became knowing od good and evil. That means capable of both. Before not the case and now Adam and Eve make Cain and he is clearly of evil and Abel blessed.

Christ crushed The head of the enemy when he Defeated death on the cross. Crushing, the head of the enemy represents he Took the Nazareth right vow at the last supper, becoming a head crusher.
If the serpent has/had a count down of his head, a life span as you referred to, then death and dying comes into play, and maybe he knew this all along, and he wanted Adam, who may have been his main focus to be taken down through Eve, to ultimately die too?

Because Eve ate the fruit, wasn’t she now more knowledgeable both good and evil, is it possible that she was wiser and tricked Adam or even used sex to coarse him, or did Adam simply trust her forgetting what GOD said?
Shame, deceit, sin first came through the ears (Satans you will be safe) and eyes (lust), Eve touched and took (her own two actions the very deed of action), Eve ate another action, an action full of lustful desire saw that it was good, tasted an unfamiliar fruit, wisdom stops us from sinning, Eve in her confusion “(forgot her knowledge of the Lord, forgot the law of God) Eve gave it to Adam perhaps still confused or a continuation of her fearful sin wanting to include Adam, Adam showed contempt for God as he ate, Adam also neglected the tree of life which Adam and Eve could eat freely, Adam was saying “I do what I want when I want!” “I want my woman, Adam forgot his trust in God, Adam too became confused, shared in all the weaknesses Eve had. Adam had no corruption prior to their but had freewill, after eating both were displeased they and saw their folly their displeasure a dishonor that would bring shame. Both sinned and could easily ask God and show repentance but they couldn’t give full repentance their bodies, minds, spirits, were corrupted by their evil act. Hearing God speak to them they hid in a garden lush with trees that produced much fruit. They used leaves to cover themselves from their shame a form of camouflage and hid in the trees, showing terror which before they sinned they would be full of joy and speak freely with God, confused with themselves with their deed full of terror which is displayed easily with humans, the tempter told them they would be safe now they realized they weren’t safe from their own thoughts and confusion as terror, fear increased and their shame was exposed to each other and knowingly fearful , soon to God. Good study! I know you have time restraints. I suggest you slow down in your own home Bible Study. At this end of the creation story we can attest that our bodies have changed are damaged and weakened. Perhaps Adams and Eves body were beginning to degrade along with their minds full of fear, terror, shame and deceit, some change was happening in their spirit as well , they showed by hiding from God. We all hide our sin until we’re exposed by truth! The truth of God. This really isn’t a comment it’s the way I scribble as I study 📖. Don’t take it personally!

Could they hide behind cars, houses, boats?
They were in paradise. What else is there to hide behind?

Job's wife repeated the accusation that satan declared in Heaven court session abt Job that his wife parrot. 'curse God and die.'

Because think about it, anyone who was born of Adam and Eve, and then got born, again is the population of Heaven ( as far as mankind)
And Jesus having been slain "before the foundations of the world" - would save mankind and restore eternal life, based on this one evil event - to save much people alive

The story of Genesis chapter 3 is not just the story of the fall of Man and sin
Genesis 3 is about the story of Salvation, TOO
Many people cannot see salvation in Genesis chapter 3
The animal that was slain (lamb?) by the Lord God Jesus was prophetic of Jesus Himself being slain for our sins
The act of clothing Adam and Eve with His sacrificial animal - is the prophetic Act of sacrifice, grace, and forgiveness
The clothing of Adam and Eve was their forgiveness
But they had to reap what they had sown - Death
Hebrews 12.2 looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and is set down at the right hand throne of God. Jesus said man shall live by every word of God. Ezekiel 28.13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God. Ezekiel 31.8 The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him the fir trees were not like his boughs and the chestnut trees were not like his branches nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty. I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches so that all the trees of Eden that were in the garden of God envied him. Eve is the mother of all living. The serpent is Satan the dragon. Satan said you shall be as God. Eve saw that it made one wise. God said man shall become as one of us knowing good and evil. John laid the ax to the root of the trees. The trees are the prophets. The fruit is the word of God.
Why do u only bible study Genesis?
HOW REFRESHING he's studying Genesis. Too many just overlook the Old Testament altogether. HUGE mistake. If you don't comprehend the Old Testsment, you will NEVER comprehend the New Testament. Full stop.
Most HAVE NO IDEA the ridiculous amount of PURE GEMS that are in Genesis. For that ignorance, too many yield an extremely shallow understanding of what's going on today. (Yes, it matters THAT much!)
