    Very clever, but good that's complicated to programme to an old fashioned person like me. Just on and off will do fine thanks.
    It's like traction control. I don't want 10 settings.
    I must be getting old.
    Happy travels.

    I take it the better half talked you into the S1000XR after your two up review 🤣 I have the same bike and love it 👍

      Yes mate 👌 I laughed my socks off, after your good lady almost fell off the fence (literally) and knocked into the mirror, I thought if she had knocked it over you would have to buy it anyway 🤣 great reviews, I look forward to more two up reviews in the future. 👍🙏

      @@mikewatson361 Ha! I wondered how many people notice that we try to include something at the end of each one (if it's one of my videos, it's usually me messing something up - there's plenty to choose from!) Cheers, John

    The strobe function, as good as it is, is illegal here in the UK.

    Great review, do you have a picture of the port you plugged it into, struggling to find any clear instructions 😏

    • @bennettsbikesocial
      @bennettsbikesocial  4 года назад

      On the S1000XR it goes between the cable into the factory-fit alarm. If you don't have that alarm, the cable's still there. But it's different on other bikes - the Denali instructions should be pretty clear; do you not have them? Cheers, John

      @@bennettsbikesocial Hi, yes have the instructions and no issues with them. Guess I have just started to second guess where I am plugging it into, was just looking for a visual confirmation. Thanks Jon

    Hi! Great review. Quick question, so will the cansmart won't work in KTMs Adv?

    • @bennettsbikesocial
      @bennettsbikesocial  4 года назад +1

      Thanks! There appears to be a Cansmart for KTM, so I'd imagine it does work. I had problems wiring Denali lights to a KTM, but that was without Cansmart. On their own, they used a lead tapped into the main beam wire to 'tell' the lights when to go to full beam, but that wire also carried the crank-position signal, so the lamps flickered in main beam. They weren't designed to work with a CANbus system, but Cansmart for KTM should be. Hope that helps. John

    Great vid. Has explained the whole setup well. It's expensive kit.

    How do you get the can smart to control your heated clothing? Very interested in that/ I have allot of Keis gear and would be awesome to have the control on the jog wheel or something :)

    how did you mount the D2 on turnsignal? can you show the mounts please?

    • @bennettsbikesocial
      @bennettsbikesocial  4 года назад

      I showed them in the video, which hopefully will be clearer knowing that they're Denali mounts with a longer bolt going through into the indicator. The mounts needed a little bit machining off so they didn't bend the indicators, but that's it. Hope that helps. John

    • @brianmurphy5150
      @brianmurphy5150 3 года назад

      @@bennettsbikesocial when you said the mounts need a little bit of machining are you referring to being filed down? I take it the longer bolts will then just replace the existing indicator bolt and screw into the existing thread?

    • @bennettsbikesocial
      @bennettsbikesocial  3 года назад

      @@brianmurphy5150 I had to mill out a small bit (you could file them), so the indicators weren't pushed out of line. John

      @@bennettsbikesocial I take it that the light from them at night is good?

    • @bennettsbikesocial
      @bennettsbikesocial  3 года назад

      @@brianmurphy5150 Yes - great. I haven't tried the cheaper lights available on eBay, but I've had these for about four years on three bikes; I wouldn't be without them. On full output they're extremely good. On medium output they really make the bike more noticeable, and also fill in a bit for the bike's light. Cheers, John
