It also encodes HDR as hdr10, hdr10+ would be even better but hdr10 is perfectly acceptable most despite saying HDR do not use a proper HDR Codec so look more washed out with less detail in low light and brighter flares from car lights street lamps sun etc
How is the sensor of A810 compared with the sensor of wolfbox g850 or g900? I like the dashcam mirrors more but I dont want to compromise on the quality of the videos.

Affordable but may not have LTE or cloud sync but does have some other advanced features. Even parking mode has its own folder. I wonder if videos can be backed to phone as well by wifi.
Yes, if your a good driver and doing everything right, the camera can help to prove your innocence. If your not such a good driver, distracted or speeding...etc. your dash cam will prove you guilty or at fault.
What are you on about with video stabilisation? Any dash camera with proper adhesive tape is stable and doesn't bounce around. If its crap adhesive tape or you're using a suction mount, then you get shaky video
I skimmed your video looking for the "Extended cam image" under video settings right on the unit (not in the app) cuz I tried it on and off and it doesn't seem to do anything. It's not even mentioned in the manual. I figured it might show a mini PIP of the rear cam on the main screen, but that wasn't the case for me. I updated the firmware too. Not a huge deal, but if anyone knows, I'd love to hear.
Does the screen always stay on? If so, does it dim for night mode? For example, my GPS has a night view which is way better for driving at night! Also, if you hard wire it, does it drain your battery - especially if you don't drive for weeks at a time? That's a concern of mine. I have an odb2 scanner and they said it slightly uses power from your battery when not driving, hence, I don't leave it plugged in. Sometimes I can go several weeks without driving since I work from home. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate the information. Thanks!
I have the A800 I was thinking of getting this one for my other truck, problem is, New A810 Does not have the ability to swivel towards the drivers side window where I can record a stop by a police or any other Extorting Agency. Don't know why for the life of my the A810 was not implemented with that ability as the A800 did not bring it either. Dash cams are not just for accidents, they are also good for recording Extorting Agencies and their lies. Great work on your part for sure, you did and Excellent job with this video. True. A manual swivel mount could solve that problem. You could mount the rear camera to view the driver's window, rather than using for a rear camera.
The Sony sensor in this unit has been enhanced for very good night vision, but some complain that daytime/sunlight conditions are over exposed and windshield reflections are frustrating.

Hi. How do you explain this? The much cheaper 4k camera has NO DELAY and the other much more expensive camera has a 2 Second DELAY? I have a Zhiroad Q20S 4K Wifi Dashcam camera in another car... Which recorded in 4K resolution of 3840x2160px... When you connect the camera to the Viidure app on your phone, the live video does Not Show Any DELAY. But the 70mai A810 camera, which cost three times the price of the Zhiroad Q20S camera, in the same situation shows a DELAY of about 2 seconds, that is, a car when it passes in the opposite direction would only appear on the phone screen after 2 seconds... Although there is no DELAY on the camera's own screen, it only appears on the phone screen through the 70mai app... In addition to the DELAY, from time to time the video/image also stops. This DELAY is also replicated after downloading the chosen video clip... Note that when the car stops, the GPS speedometer, when it should show 0 km/h... Still shows 10 or 15 km/hour... With the DELAY of about 2 seconds... If it weren't for that, it would be a perfect camera. I've used a810 for a month now, very disappointed as the dashcam does NOT always start recording when I start my vehicle, sometimes it does sometimes not. I literally have no idea why it's not recording every time, and you'd be very disappointed to find out it did not record anything until you connect it with mobile. Note there is no issue with the cable connection or power supply, press the turn on button it does start. A bit waste of money as it's not cheap 😞 also expected to use the 4k footage for video editing but reflection totally ruined it.
My question is about her memory, because recording two 4K videos simultaneously consumes a lot of memory. It would only allow a few hours of recording per day. What is the maximum amount of memory she accepts?
Like to see you compare this to Nextbase Dashcam they got. i have a really cheap Chinese one my mother got me years ago but never used so it doesn't work the best BUT it has changed how i drive more than normally and having a dashcam is entertaining seeing some of the dumb shit people do and being able to record it.
A few things 70mai could improve 1.6 Aprature, Distracted Driver Alerts if lens faces inwards, Traffic Light Colour Alerts, Traffic Signs Alerts (School, Speed etc!), CPL Filter either in box or built in, Much Louder Sound for Collision Avoidence Alerts, HDR10+ & AV1 Recording/Encoding!

70mai really needs to get onboard with a capacitor battery source. The lithium-ion battery is responsible for 90% of the failures on their cameras. The batteries do not tolerate high temperatures or very low temperatures very well.

Just buy an external sd card reader dongle to your phone & download the footage directly on to your phone instead of using the app
70mai does not have LTE modules or SIM card slot built in for their cameras. Everything is via wifi not Bluetooth as well.
