I just tried these, and wow what a good lens! i have tried to get contacts at 2 opticians now, first said i had no hope, due to poor quality of tears, the other decided to give it a try, and last shot i gave them before i gave up they ordered these, and they actually suprised me alot! Previously i tried 6 brands of monthly lenses, and 1 brand of 2 week lenses, neither of them i could wear for more then 1 hours before my eyes felt terrible, 3 hours i ripped them out in despair. These (toric version), i can wear with hardly any issues for 8-12 hours, only a bit stingy after a few hours, like if you swim with your eyes open in chlorinated water for a while, they sting, kinda like that, but not as bad, so totally acceptable imo. Hope this helps anyone else.
I switched to these from the Alcon Precision 1 lenses (which are more expensive, BTW) because they were way more comfortable and didn't dry out. They were also way easier to take out. The precision 1's were so difficult to remove it was ridiculous.
ive tested many other lenses over the years, but i keep coming back to these. From the feel in the eye to the way they feel when you handle them, these are hands down the best lenses ive had
These are the lenses I use. I find that they are difficult to use though because they are so soft and thin. It flips over on my finger right as I try to put it in my eye. Sometimes I have to try about 10 times to get it in my eye
Thanks for the response pal. I took a trial of both the sizes and stuck with the 8.5. They are really great compared to the bi weekly ones I had before. Now, the only issue is, sometimes these get dry after six hours or so. I was wondering if you use any rewetting drops for moistening them up. If yes, which brands do you recommend
Uttam Kumar Great work man! happy to help! For me personally these are fantastic and dont get dry at all. I sometimes wear them 15 hours straight, to the gym, shower, aircon in the car anything. Whenever i get dryness issues its after such long days or obviously after being in an aircon environment all day, but only at the very end of the day. so no advice on drops really, but i reckon you can go the same route; go to an optician and see if you can get some samples, then stick with the one you like.
I started using these for the first time, my BC is 8.6 but they werent available so they prescribed to me with a BC of 8.5, i have been wearing them whole day and i feel my astigmatism is the same as without lenses, normally i wear glasses and its much more comfortable to me.. I dont know if the problem is that the BC is slightly different, but they told me it wouldn't be a problem so i dont know why my vision isnt improving while wearing these
thats tricky indeed, hard for me to say what the issue is. I would go back to the drawing board with your opticial or eye doc and maybe try out a few different options
You mentioned they are bc 9 . Do you prefer a slightly bigger size for better comfort ? What's your base curve as per prescription 8.5 usually fits most people. I have a bc of 8.6,I am wondering if I should buy 8.5 or 9
Uttam Kumar ooh that all comes down to personal preference i think. I got bc9 from the start and they are so comfy that i never bothered to switch. And with soft contact lenses it should not make that much of a difference anyways. What you could do is go to your optician and ask for a trial strip of both bc's and see what suits you best. Most online stores also offer test-packages so just order those and try it out. No worries though, youll love em either way :)
I've been using 1 day Acuvue Moist contact lenses. It is very comfortable for first few couple of hour, after 6 hours I feel itchyness in my eyes and after 12 hours i just have to remove it, I feel heavy eyes after 12 hours.
sounds like you have very dry eyes. You can use some eye drops i suppose to make it though a full day, or just switch to glasses at some point. For me, 15 hours straight is no problem though
I am thinking to try ACUVUE OASYS or Alcon’s Dailies Total 1. Alcon's Dailies have 80% water content, I guess that would help. I would really appreciate if you do comparison videos and maybe public feedback.
i have actually reached out to several other brands to test their lenses, both separate and as a comparison, but none of them seems too excited about that
ReviewsOnAnything Thank you so much for your review. I wanted to buy these but the one thing I didn't like was how long it took to insert them. And the single pipettes (?) keep each one sanitary. Just make sure to wash your hands first. My tip is to put each lens on the TOP of your hand. Try it and I think you'll agree it works better.
+Vintage Vera Now that I've watched the video I need to say that I am very disappointed you didn't show how to actually insert the lenses. Would it be possible to add/edit this vid and have your wife/partner film you? I would bet that's why you got 3 dislikes.
i suppose thays something that could be included, allthough putting lenses in not really the point of the video, since everyone has difderent techniques
How do you select a prescription if I were to buy one at like Rite Aid or something. Just like you , one of my eyes' prescription is stronger than the other.
wherever you buy them, you can just fill in your prescription and you get the according boxes. If you have 2 separate ones, you might have to buy a bigger amount so it fits a bulksale box
Why isn’t anyone mentioning using them for more than one day? With Clear Care it is so easy, with minimal handling to clean and disinfect them and wear them for at least another day?
because if you clean and store them, you might as well get week or month lenses. The whole point is that you get a new lens every day so you dont have to mess around with solution etc
thats not the point. It would be the same as buying disposable paper plates and cleaning them so you can re-use them. They are called DAY lenses for a reason, want a cheaper alternative, then go for week or month, but then you have to deal with storage and cleaning
Bare with me here 1 box has 3 smaller boxes which have 6 strips with 5 packets per strip each packet has 1 lens so depending on if your eyes are the same prescription or not, you can do 15 days with 1 box if used for both eyes and scale up from there. If you have 2 different prescriptions you need to order a separate box etc etc
nope, this is a 1 size. They suck vacuum to your eyeball, so in theory there shouldnt be too much moving around in/on the eye. Ive never had issues with that myself at least
Here in the UK they are 18 pounds per box (that will last you 1 month). So for both eyes, you are looking at 36 pounds a month. I reckon its about the same in Dollars in the US
+ReviewsOnAnything update, turns out they are cheaper cost, £17 a month for monthly proclear toric XR by coopervision. Just ordered 3 months supply. They are so comfortable and so far have not dried out even after over 11 hours of wear...I cannot even feel them in my eyes! Much better comfort so far than my RGP lenses.
+Robert Wells oh sweet!! Thats pretty much how i felt after first switching to these. Once you put them in youll never look back :) thanks for the update man! enjoy the comfyness!
+Kid Chudi no worries, these lenses are SO good and let oxygen through so well that you wont damage your eyes with normal use. I wear them for 12-15 hours a day without problem for many years already
hey man I forgot what the eye doctor told me how long should you keep this in your eye the max? I think I might have heard her say you can wear it up to 16 hours is that right? Or is it 10?
personally i wear them anywhere between 10-16 hours a day without problems. But be aware that if you take a long drive in an airconditioned car for example, theyll certainly dry out quicker of course. As long as you dont re-use them or sleep with them you should be fine any amount of time really
+Robert Wells 2 reasons actually. 1. i was looking for more comfort 2. i just wanted to tray something new Did some research and went through a few different brands and types of softs before landing on these and stuck with them ever since
I see. I have worn RGP lenses for a long time and was always told that soft lenses were not the better option for me. Went for an eye check up yesterday and was told I could try soft lenses now as they were more advanced. I never had any issue with my RGP lenses, but might as well give soft lenses a try!
+ReviewsOnAnything she will be fitting me with soft toric monthly lenses which will be £22 per month, all aftercare included and I think so many 'free' lenses if one tears once in a while. But the first month is free, and if I don't like them she will let me go back to RGP
all eyes differ i suppose, but i can hardly imagine that with these lenses. They are called moist for a reason. But that said, im only one experience of course
I agree with you. These contacts are too thin to retain moisture in my opinion. I prefer wearing my monthly Air Optix for Astigmatism contact lenses. I clean them with Clear Care and they feel new for longer even though they are monthly lenses.
Just tried these lenses and they are very flimsy and doesn't retain shape well. But the bright side is that these dailies are very cheap to buy compared to the premiums
I just got the samples and I was putting them in my eye...for some reason left eye kept falling out and then it's feels like it is moving and it hurts when u first put in eye...is this normal...right eye feels great
ReviewsOnAnything Well paper plates don't cost $28 for just 30 plates and because if you clean your contacts thoroughly there won't be a problem. Ive know plenty of people that have done this.
These are daily contact lenses, so you throw them away at the end of the day and open a new pair the next morning. Super easy, super good for your eyes and very comfortable
so do you wear them while watching tv and maybe working? do you where them while driving? Do you need to switch throughout the day? how many lenses do you get 30? 1 for each day?
You can wear em all day long and dont need to do any switching. You might want to check your prescription if you need correction permanently or only in certain situations like driving, reading or TV. These come in a box with 3x30 lenses so that should last you 1.5 month if your eyes have the same prescription
Oh man, really? Was just about to go for these to take on holiday. May get the oasys daily now you've said that!! Did anyone try these against the Dailies Aquacomfort plus? They are around the same price.
ReviewsOnAnything Ok, thanks, that's good to know. I think with me coming from monthly/bi-monthly lenses they would feel pretty comfortable. I tried someone else's basic daily lens and it was like heaven! Only problem is I have a fairly high prescription (-5.25) with astigmatism in one eye, so will be pretty thick. I certainly can't afford the Oasys all year, so hope these could be my daily drivers.
If it was an optometrist that prescribed you this brand that you’re uncomfortable with, don’t be afraid to let him/her know so they can troubleshoot the issue and prescribe something else. Contact lens brands aren’t something you just pick on your own. They have different base curves, diameters, ballasts, etc that are taken into account that the eye doctor fits specifically for the physical curvature and refraction of your eye.
Thanks. I've done a bit of research into how base curve and angles of the lens can change through different brands and prescriptions. The lenses from the opticians (this time) were so much more uncomfortable than what I ended up ordering for myself. I had to have something fast for a holiday and the opticians option was un-wearable. It seems I get free optician appointments with vision direct from the site I ordered. I think I'll check in and get things looked over. Thanks for the advice.
+Alex Lei yeah should work for Myopic no problem. But always good to check with your own optician or eye-professional of course. As long as you have the same number on both eyes, you can order just 1 box. I have +3,5 and +4, so i need to order 2 separate boxes. But in the end it comes down tot he same price per lens/per day of course
+The Lost Spirit absolutely not!! they are called day-lenses for a reason. Wearing these for several days is NOT a good idea. If you want lenses for multiple days (which is certainly cheaper) then get week- or month-lenses
+The Lost Spirit never wear daily contacts any longer than you waking day! As already suggested, ask your eye doctor about monthly, two weekly or even RGP lenses.
+Branden's Outdoor Channel i suppose that thats technically possible, its not like the lenses fall apart after an x-amount of hours. But i would still stick to using a new pair every day. This way its still more expensive than weekly lenses (is it?) and you still have to mess with solution and a holder etc, so it sounds like the worst of 2 worlds really. I really like the convenience of just throwing them out after a day
yeah the waste is shitty, but i dont see many ways on how they can reduce that since in the end, every lens needs to be individually packed. BUT despite the costs, totally worth it indeed
These lenses are good aweful. They dry up and fall out of your eye. The individual lenses packaging is stuck together in such away that when you try to pull them apart at ceration, it rips 3 of them in half wasting them.
dont have that experience at all. They are by far the most comfy and long lasting lenses ive ever tried. The packaging can sometimes be a bit tricky for sure, but if you fold the individual pack a bit then it tears right off no problem
there is no difference between right and left, unless you have different strengths for each eye (like me) then you can just read the number on the box and the individual packs
I just tried these, and wow what a good lens! i have tried to get contacts at 2 opticians now, first said i had no hope, due to poor quality of tears, the other decided to give it a try, and last shot i gave them before i gave up they ordered these, and they actually suprised me alot!

+popinfresh they can be a bit tricky indeed, but i got the hang of them pretty quickly though

Do they have some sort of graduation as like other contact lenses or??

I use Systane PF

How do these compare to Cooper visions Clariti 1 day disposables?
cant tell you, havent tried the Cooper. But these are by far the best and most comfy lenses ive used in the past 25 years
Can those lenses use for normal eyes ?
Does it matter what type of eye you have i mean like prescription
not really, they go from -10 to +10 if not more. BUT that said, its always a good idea to have your eye-health checked by an optician of course
ReviewsOnAnything Thank you so much for your review. I wanted to buy these but the one thing I didn't like was how long it took to insert them. And the single pipettes (?) keep each one sanitary. i suppose thays something that could be included, allthough putting lenses in not really the point of the video, since everyone has difderent techniques
i love the new sense
Sometimes the lenses come out folded over, but it's easy to see the right and wrong way
yep that does happen :)
i wonder if i need to wear those everyday o i can skip one day. what im doing right know is wearing only when i go outside
they are excellent to combine with glasses at home if you only wear lenses when you go outside. Fresh lens every time
How do you select a prescription if I were to buy one at like Rite Aid or something. Just like you , one of my eyes' prescription is stronger than the other.
wherever you buy them, you can just fill in your prescription and you get the according boxes. If you have 2 separate ones, you might have to buy a bigger amount so it fits a bulksale box
He talks about the excessive packaging and then says he flushes them down the sink....
Why isn’t anyone mentioning using them for more than one day? With Clear Care it is so easy, with minimal handling to clean and disinfect them and wear them for at least another day?
because if you clean and store them, you might as well get week or month lenses. The whole point is that you get a new lens every day so you dont have to mess around with solution etc
a fresh one every other day would decrease the cost in half. Clear Care is not a hassle; take out the lenses, put in case and that’s it.
a fresh one every other day beats wearing the same lens for two weeks. That’s why I’m asking this question.
thats not the point. It would be the same as buying disposable paper plates and cleaning them so you can re-use them. They are called DAY lenses for a reason, want a cheaper alternative, then go for week or month, but then you have to deal with storage and cleaning
So if it's 90 lens, so only lens per package? Then how come it's two pair?
Bare with me here
1 box
has 3 smaller boxes
which have 6 strips
with 5 packets per strip
each packet has 1 lens
so depending on if your eyes are the same prescription or not, you can do 15 days with 1 box if used for both eyes and scale up from there.
If you have 2 different prescriptions you need to order a separate box etc etc
Are they colourless?
they have a light violet hue
Do they come in a smaller size? I find all of the trials I've used move around my eye
nope, this is a 1 size. They suck vacuum to your eyeball, so in theory there shouldnt be too much moving around in/on the eye. Ive never had issues with that myself at least

Can we remove the lense and wear it again after some time the same day?
I want to get these contacts. How long do you wear them per day before you take them off? I don't want to wear them for too long and damage my eyes.
+Kid Chudi no worries, these lenses are SO good and let oxygen through so well that you wont damage your eyes with normal use. I wear them for 12-15 hours a day without problem for many years already

I always get confused, 90 lenses means 90 PAIRS? right? So if I need two boxes for Atigmatism does that means these last me 6 months?
no 90 lenses means exactly that: 90 pieces.
So for 6 months youll need to order 180 lensens
@@ReviewsOnAnything Wouldn’t 90 pieces only be 45 days worth of supply? So for 6 months you would need 360 lenses.
@@theryan519 what!!!!!!!!!!!! 😱

I buy my contacts online $28 for 30 contacts. And I actually wear them more than once

how much are they for three months??
Katherine Barnes because they are daily lenses, they normally cost £1 per lens each day
Mine were around $120
@@supersandoval2 it's 80 euros in finland

you got the exact same contact lenses that i have
These lenses are good aweful. They dry up and fall out of your eye. The individual lenses packaging is stuck together in such away that when you try to pull them apart at ceration, it rips 3 of them in half wasting them.
dont have that experience at all. They are by far the most comfy and long lasting lenses ive ever tried.
The packaging can sometimes be a bit tricky for sure, but if you fold the individual pack a bit then it tears right off no problem
well in Amercian dollars
How do you know which packs are for your left and right eye?
there is no difference between right and left, unless you have different strengths for each eye (like me) then you can just read the number on the box and the individual packs
