@@rhondaclarke3220 same here! Once I used the side of my finger, instead of the tip I was able to get it in with three tries on the one eye and the first try on the other. I couldn't believe it. Because I had also tried about 500 times, with no success.
You deserve a standing ovation! I bought lenses and was being trained in putting them on by the shop's optometrist. If it weren't for you, it would not have happened.
I too sat in the office for almost 2 hours and FINALLY got them in and she had me remove one and put back in. That night it took me well over an hour trying to get them out! I didn't see this video until today so I am trying her technique and praying I have success like the rest of you.
I had a similar experience with my first trails. I got them in ok, using the guy's instructions, but then I couldn't pinch them out. Sat there for a good 10-20 minutes, trying not to cry. Luckily, he let me go home with them in under the promise that if it took me 5 hours, those things would come out. I searched "how to remove contact lenses" and found a great youtube video by this girl with really long nails about using your eyelids to pinch the lens out. So easy.
You have transformed me from a guy who screams at his mirror in utter hatred because of his useless eyes into someone who can actually function with contacts. Thank you!
I hear you! I had been reduced to deep anxiety and tears before and while trying to put mine in. This way makes total sense and yields the desired result.
@@Tamara-ju3lh I’m glad I have never had to breakdown while doing it but I completely understand the pain of gently putting it in. I always have to resort to pushing the contact against my eye with multiple fingers and forcing the contact into my eye.
I struggled for an hour at the optometrist office yesterday trying to put these dang things on and had to have someone remove them for me last night. After watching your video, I put them both in immediately with no issues. Unbelievable. Thank you so much!
I’ve literally been struggling for five years to put in contacts and after watching this video I got them both in within 20 minutes. Thank you so much!!!

Yoo😭 The comments gave me hope too but I still failed. Then i tried my own method and it went in on the second try. Idk if i was following the instructions wrong but at least I got them in
Super helpful! At the eye doctor, my 9-year old spent 45 minutes getting her contacts in her eyes, and another 45 minutes taking them out. We watched this video before her second attempt at home, and she was able to put them in and take them out in 2-3 minutes!
+// Popkrull // There's more to vision than near-sightedness. Corneal dystrophy can affect vision and make u very sensitive and red-eyed. That's what I have, and that's what she probably meant. Light-sensitive people (photophobia) need to be warned to find a RARE Optometrist with equipment that photographs corneas. Often Opto's have what Ophthal's don't bother with. Most don't care enough. I wish she were in my locale.
You literally just changed my life. This is my third day wearing contacts and it took me (before watching this) 15 mins to put in, and 15 mins to take out. I was able to take them out, then put them in in 27 seconds! Thank you!
People, I have been crying in my room for two hours and this is the only thing that has worked. Three years of trying to put them in omg finally. thank you so much
OMG! I just started contact lens and it took me so long to put on oand take off one len that i was getting frustrated! So i know RUclips have everything that you are looking for. So i looked up an easier way to insert my contact lens. And came across this video and i don't think there is an easier way than the way this lady showed! Thank you so much, it really makes me more comfortable about staying with contact lenses. I had begin to give up before i went back for my two week checkup! THANKS AGAIN LADY!!!
Not all heroes wear capes, I can’t thank this lady enough. I have been struggling to put contacts in since returning home from my trial 2 weeks ago. I had given up to be honest and thought that contacts weren’t for me. A lot of the videos on RUclips didn’t work for me and I stumbled upon this video, I almost wasn’t going to bother watching but glad I did. This lady has saved my life, I tried this morning and after 2 weeks I managed to put both in after 15 minutes! The technique to take the lenses out was also much better than the Optometrist’s method! Thank you so much for restoring my hope!
I remember this was the first video I watched that taught me the easiest and quickest method on how to wear my contact lenses! It’s been 6 years now and I always use this method
Just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Tried before and failed miserably at putting contacts in my eyes. I have super long lashes and small eyes. You have finally saved me from glasses. 1st day - 1 hour to put in, 2nd day - 45 minutes, 3rd day - 1 hour. Your way 5 MINUTES!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
Same, my eyelids just wouldn't open wide enough for the other way and my lashes were always a problem, this method I just popped them in and did a bunch of blinking... Nearly cried out of sheer relief 😂
You are a God's blessing. You have no idea how many times ive tried before. U addressed my exact fears like pinching the eye and touching the eye with the pointer finger. God bless u !
I just got contacts yesterday. I have very long, thick eyelashes, which is usually a blessing but was a curse in this situation. The contacts would catch on my lashes, fold, or turn inside out. I tried holding my upper eyelid in place, but my eye would reflexively try to blink and I couldn’t get the contacts in. I wasn’t scared to put them in, it was just really hard when my lashes were in the way. It took forever to get them in at the doctor’s office. I tried again today, fully expecting to be there for 30 minutes. I curled my upper eyelashes to keep them out of the way, then did what you said (holding only the bottom eyelid open, putting the contact on the side of your finger, and un-focusing the eye), and within two minutes, I had both of them in! Thank you SO much for this video. You are a life-saver (or eye-saver).
B9King937 It works, but I personally have a lot more trouble taking them out than putting them in. I drag it away to the corner of my eye, and when the lens is out of place and folds slightly, I pinch it and take it out. But sometimes the lens just doesn't want to come out and by the time I remove them, my eyes are a little red. If it's just not working and you're getting frustrated, take a couple minutes' break and try again.
Samantha Fee Yeah, someone just responded to me on this comment section saying you still need to pinch them to take them out. It's tough because I drag it down, but the moment you take your finger off it slides back up.
Before that video it took me half an hour to put a single contact because my eyelashes would just throw them out After watching this video, in under 5 minutes I can have both contacts in without any pain Thank you so much!!
Dr. S, I'm not sure where you are, but we use this video all the time to train our contact lens wearers. I like to show them both methods but this one always wins, hands down. Thank you for putting this out there in cyberspace for us opticians who were frustrated with the traditional method!
it might be because your finger is more wet than your eye and it wants to stick to the wet thing. i think she said to make sure your finger wasn’t too wet! hope that helps
I personally keep my finger really dry, then look down and lift my finger up slightly instead of lifting my finger up to my eye and angling the lens so that they don't fall off my fingers
You, my friend, are a genius! I am 57 and this is my first time to try contacts. I was at the optometrist for 1.5 hours and left knowing I had no idea what I am doing with the contacts in my eyes. I was humbled by my lack of skill as I thought it would be easy as I work in the medical field. Tonight I was able to take my contacts out in 5 minutes :) Leaving your channel up on my desktop to review before I attempt the insertion tomorrow. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I was thinking I had made a mistake. Now I have hope:)
Any hint for people with sensitive eyelids? Anything comes even remotely close to my eye and it goes into auto blinking mode. I spent 1 hour at the doctor today trying to put them in and failed miserably. She had to put it on and remove it herself and did not release the lens for me to take home since I failed to do it on my own while in there.
i also have this problem, a really good tip i have found that helps me at least is to line up your contact with your eyes and look away whileyou move the contact in. this way my eyelids dont know when to blink untill the contact is already on the eye!
It was my first time trying contacts today, I had watched this video a week prior and decided to try this method for my first shot and believe me, my optometrist was speechless when she saw this technique, and said that I was a pro already when I removed the lenses in one go! Thank you kind lady for showing us this method and happy clear-sightedness to everyone else watching!
I was trying for 2 hours the other way and i couldn’t put it on. I tried your way and in 4 minutes I had my contact lenses ready to go!!! Your advice was truly precious ❤️Thank you💕
This is my first time trying contacts and my eyes are small so it’s hard to get them in. When I tried this method I got it in the first try. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
I have small eyes too. First attempt failed after 40 minutes of no success today. Eye lids are sore and eyes are watery. Hopefully with this method my second attempt will be a success.
I have small eyes too and was looking through the comments to see if anyone with small eyes had any luck. Thank you for confirming! I'm going to try this tonight.
this video is super easy to understand and super helpful. My eye doctor was amazed by this technique and never has seen it before! You did an amazing job explaining how it's done. And it's true, if I grab my upper eyelid, it wants to shut itself immediately and creates a huge struggle to put the contact in. THE STRUGGLE IS REAL! But this video tutorial eliminates that struggle. Thank you for this video.
I was ready to give up trying to put on contacts. I scoured the internet for all the different methods for installing contacts and yours is so simple and foolproof !!! Thank-you over and over again.
This video made all difference for me when applying contacts. I was hopeless that I would ever be able to get them in until her tips and tricks! Using the Side of my finger has made a crazy difference, rather than putting the lenses on the tip. Oys the only thing that worked for me.
A tip I have: Whenever I put in my contacts I always close the eye that the contact has just been put in because it allows it to adjust easier. This is only for a few seconds.
I did this once and idk where the contact went. Idk if it fell and idk if it’s still logged in the back of my eyelid so I recommend you don’t do this 😂
Struggled for ages because I couldn't get my eyelids wide enough and my top lid was vibrating like hell, watched this video and got the lens in first time! 11 years later and still helping people 👍🏻
At first, I was all "eh, that won't work," but I decided to try. IT WORKED THE FIRST TIME! It has previously been taking me around 25 mins just to get them in, but this is so easy and fast. You just have to breathe, and tell yourself not to blink. Please try this method! It works perfectly (at least for me)!
Today was my first time ever attempt at putting contacts in, and by following this tutorial I got both lenses in in under 5 minutes! I got the right one in on the 2nd attempt and the left in on the 3rd. Brilliant tutorial, Thank you!
Just watched the video and BAAMMM! JUST PUT THEM ON FIRST TRY! FIRST TRY!!! On both eyes! I’m so grateful, I’m in tears! 43 year old man and never been able to successfully put contacts on. I’ve tried all the techniques, my wife about had enough of me failing to use contacts. I cannot thank you enough for helping me overcome this obstacle! Can’t wait to tell my wife about this!!!
Definitely have to give you props for this!! Just got contacts yesterday, and spent an hour at the Dr's office getting them in and today, about 35 minutes with no success the traditional way. Watched this, tried it, and got them both in in 9 minutes (2 of those mins spent looking for my right contact after it fell). THANK YOU!
omg thank you soo much i have been poking my eye and crying like a babyfor one hour trying to put lenses for the first time. And I found this video and I did it in 1 try. Thank you soo much!!
@@arbeenaislam1952 it doesn't hurt that bad of course you might have some irritation. But it also depends everyone's eyes are different I recommend at Least trying them
Arbeena Islam no it doesn’t hurt. I really struggled on my first attempts at the opticians and my eyes became very sore and red. They were worried so checked that I hadn’t scratched my eyes by giving them a thorough check over. I hadn’t it was just where I’d been trying for so long to get them in., However I’ve just done it for the first time at home and all went well 👍 but I’m going to try this way as I find it tricky to hold my top lid open wide enough, this way looks much easier
At my 1st contact trial appt, could I hell as like get them near my eye the way they were trying to show me by pulling your top lid open etc, apparently the usual way. Came away feeling so stupid and defeated I couldnt get something so simple near my eye due to a stupid fear of anything being near them. Thought to myself there cant just be 1 way or no way, so looked on good ole youtube and your vid was the 1st to pop up. Even trying without contacts finally a way to get a finger near my eye without a major panic and my eyelid wanting to clamp shut on it. Called my opticians to ask them to help me this way at next appt. Apparently none of them found it easier! Me, within a few mins got the 1st one in, then the 2nd, fanbloodytastic! Took them out as shown in the vid too as youve to practice taking them out n putting back in and it was so easy. I have long lashes and really couldnt do it the way you are normally shown but this vid has saved me from giving up and never being able to try contacts. Thank you so much x
Not sure how this video from 11 years ago popped up as my top result, but I’m so grateful. At 50 I’m old to be wearing contacts for the first time, late bloomer here lol. I’ve had contacts for over a month and struggle so hard to get them in. I wear my glasses more often than not because the lenses stress me out! This method worked like a champ!! Thank you so much!!!!
I know that you'll probably never see this comment, but you saved me. I was in front of the mirror for two hours before I saw this video. This method is so much easier than going straight for my eye only to have my eyelid fight me at every attempt.
OK so at the age of 50 and just got my first Contacts and I have been so excited to get them… That was until I had to remove them. I’ve watched tons of videos tried all of their suggestions and still cannot remove them. I have cried because I’ve been so frustrated. I’ve been praying God please help me get these things out of my eyes and then I finally came across your video and it came out the first time. I cannot thank you enough!!!!❤️❤️❤️
THANK YOU SO MUCH. The "teacher" at my optometrist's office was... mean, to say the least. Kept me there for over an hour because she just didn't get that I couldn't control my blink reflex (like she couldn't see how frustrated I was with myself after the 100th fail or so), then told my mom that I "don't have the guts" to stick it in my eye. I went back the next day; same results. Finally saw this video, went back after the weekend was over and showed her that I did actually have the "guts" to do this. If it weren't for this video I'd still be using glasses. Thank you!
I sincerely can't thank you enough for this video... My previous tries at putting in contacts went so badly that I struggled for over an hour before eventually getting frustrated and giving up for the day, TWICE! However, on this 3rd attempt I had the good fortune of coming across this video and after watching it I had them both in, in less than 2 min! You're awesome!
I have cerebral palsy, and I have trouble holding my eyelids open. The "teacher" I had kept hovering over me and telling me off whenever I wanted to try a different way. Thank you for this! My left upper lid is especially spazzy. I was looking into buying one of those tools that hold your lids open when I saw this! There's almost no resources for adaptive methods for contacts, so disabled people aren't struggling as much.
So helpful! I had ripped a lens by day 3 from all the attempts at getting them in...and then out again. Thank you for explaining the gentlest way to handle, proper disinfecting and of course your easy peasy alternate way to insert them. Worked for me!!
I have been struggling to put on lens from past 5 days but this lady made the process so easy so that I just put my lens with in 5 seconds.. Kudos lady master
Oh my god. I have had contacts for over a year and have only been able to put them on ONCE with the help of my sister and three hours worth of effort for each eye. I thought I would get better after getting them in but this wasn't the case. I haven't worn them in months (since the first and only successful attempt) and after all of my frustration I just stumbled on this video. I can't thank you guys enough! I've always wanted to be able to wear contacts and now I can.
I never comment on RUclips video's but just HAD to after watching yours.... I have literally tried for 2 days to put in contacts with no success. I watched a bunch of different RUclips video's for tips and tricks. Then today I came across yours and your "side of finger, not the tip" trick made ALL the difference! After about 600 failed attempts over the last 2 days, after watching your video I got my one contact in on like the third try and my other contact in on the first!!! I was literally ecstatic! I had to call my husband right away and tell him bc he managed to help me yesterday, but it also had MANY failed attempts. So THANK YOU, thank you, THANK YOU!! (I have deff learned my lesson in trying to save time and watch the quick few minute video by non professionals. I will always take the time to watch the longer ((and more educated)) video from professionals from now on!!)
Thank you for this. Very informative. My optical retailer recommended it and was absolutely correct. Regardless of what technique people may use, your tips and tricks are very helpful. Six years later!
Dr. S. You deserve some kind of medal. Today I spent an hour at the optometrist’s office being taught how to put in lenses. I was SO unsuccessful, they wouldn’t let me take lenses home and I had to make another one hour “training” appointment. First off, I know this is going to sound mega stupid, but I struggled for 5 minutes each time I tried, to get the lenses out of the blister pack. Then you come along and dump it into your hand solving my first problem! Secondly, I have had a brow lift and for whatever reason, that contortionist move of having your arm draped across your forehead, it just didn’t work for me! My skin is tight and nothing I did allowed me to hold my upper eyelid open. I cannot wait to go back on Tuesday and try your method. I’m really excited and I know it will work!! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!! 💜
Very first day wearing. I was having a horrible time placing one contact and felt so irritated in that eye after trying several times. I looked this up and had immediate comprehension and success with logical explanation! BEST tutorial!!!
I've had contacts for 3 days. Putting them in was easy for me. Taking them out was almost impossible! I tried it this way and got them both out in a couple of minutes. Thank you so much!
3rd day using contacts. Struggled each day. Just watched her and contact popped right in. Thank you so much for teaching this different way. Side finger and pull bottom lid for sure worked for me!😊
This is great! First day I had to put them in myself it took me damn well near an hour to get them in "the regular way", with all of the eyelid pulling I could barely get my eyes open far enough to fit the lenses in! Found your video right after that ordeal, took them out again, cleaned them, and with your technique I had the left lens in from the first try, the right lens in a few minutes after a couple of tries, what a difference! This is a clever way of getting your eyes to open up naturally and create space to stick the lens onto the eye without forcing anything. Plus, you can actually see what you're doing! Thank you so much for sharing these vastly superior techniques!!! :-)
You’re an angel, i tried in the traditional but i can’t do it. with You I’ve finally able to wear my lens, thank you so much for thai tutorial!!! Kisses from italy 🥰
I am new to contacts and found this video to be very helpful. At 53 I was ready to ditch the glasses but struggled with the lens insertion. The side of the finger style made a big difference. It no longer takes the entire morning to put my lenses in. Thank you again.
I was so frustrated with putting my contacts in, I tried putting my lenses in the way they taught me, (Holding my top eyelashes up and pulling the bottom lid with me middle finger) It took me about an hour using that method. But this, it took me atleast 5 minutes to put them on! HUGE THANK YOU!
Mayabby Xox just got mine & just go for it don’t let your mind block you, it took me a few times to get it out but getting it in is veryyyy easy w/ practice
This insertion method is a life saver! I was poking and prodding my eyes trying to get the lens in and used to get it in only after having a mini meltdown. With this technique I was able to get both my lenses in, in under a minute! Thanks a ton!!
Thank you, this needs to be sent to all eye dr's...the way the dr taught me took me 30 minutes, beyond frustrated , red eyed......when I used your method, got my contacts in on the very first try! Excellent video!
I had somewhat success with the traditional method, but the fastest I could do it was 16 minutes. Some days I even knew I wouldn't wear contacts because I maybe had a lot to do and putting my contacts on top of that made it so stressful that I would just have a mental block and not function properly. With this method it took me 2 minutes AT MOST to put them on. A real life saver! Thank you very much for showing us this way of doing it. Trust me, if you're struggling with contacts this is somethig worth trying.
This video literally HELPED SO MUCH my first morning putting in contacts by myself.....after 20 minutes of failing and almost crying I found this video and within a few tries I got them in and was way better than the doctor’s assistant teaching me the “tip of the finger technique” this way was way less scary for my eye I want to thank you so much Doc 💕
Thank you so much for this! I just bought a pair of contacts this week and I have struggled for the past few days, my eyes hurt to the point that I couldnt place it in and it was red, and with this technique, I felt confident that I could do it, and I did! From 30 minutes to 5 minutes on both eyes when I place them on my eyes, and from removing, from 10 minutes to a minute. Super super helpful! Thank you again!
Wow I read the comments saying stuff like “you’re the only video that helped” YOU ARE THE ONLY VIDEO THAT HELPED. I got it within 10 minutes total for both
It took me 3 hours over 2 sessions at the opticians to successfully put my lens in my right eye once. This method still took me 10 minutes (my right eye is incredibly twitchy) but that's an incredible improvement
You probably get this a lot, but, I just got daily contacts for the first time in my life today, and even after getting over the "don't touch your eye or else you'll lose it" anxieties I couldn't get the dang things out. It took me an hr, maybe more to take one lense out lol hopefully this method will work better
Update: It worked lol I'm so happy
Thank you, I've been trying to learn the 'traditional' method for months and this method worked almost instantly!
"Before u put in your contacts make sure ur vision seems okay"
Of course my vision isn't okay before i've put them in.
OMFGGGGG😂😂😂😂
+// Popkrull // There's more to vision than near-sightedness. Corneal dystrophy can affect vision and make u very sensitive and red-eyed. That's what I have, and that's what she probably meant. Light-sensitive people (photophobia) need to be warned to find a RARE Optometrist with equipment that photographs corneas. Often Opto's have what Ophthal's don't bother with. Most don't care enough. I wish she were in my locale.
i feel you
// Popkrull // she meant the prescription or having a red eye or allergies
I thought the exact same thing😂😂
You literally just changed my life. This is my third day wearing contacts and it took me (before watching this) 15 mins to put in, and 15 mins to take out. I was able to take them out, then put them in in 27 seconds! Thank you!
Taylor Sakovich 15 minutes to take it out? I’m a beginner but it usually takes me a minute to take my contacts out
Today's my third day with contacts too. Putting them in got easier every day but I never had a problem getting them out. I got them out first try
People, I have been crying in my room for two hours and this is the only thing that has worked. Three years of trying to put them in omg finally. thank you so much
SAME
@@kaioneal912 Im not the only One!!! I have so much eye anxiety !!!
Thank you so much for restoring my hope!
as a new lens user, she restored my hope as well
I remember this was the first video I watched that taught me the easiest and quickest method on how to wear my contact lenses! It’s been 6 years now and I always use this method
Me too!
This is sooo relatable to me
You are a God's blessing. You have no idea how many times ive tried before. U addressed my exact fears like pinching the eye and touching the eye with the pointer finger. God bless u !
I'm gonna finally put in my contacts with this technique. God bless you and her. 😂
Amen
+Samantha Fee How is her method on taking them out? I can't try right now because my eyes are blood shot. Would love to hear the feedback on that!
Before that video it took me half an hour to put a single contact because my eyelashes would just throw them out
After watching this video, in under 5 minutes I can have both contacts in without any pain
Thank you so much!!
Me too !!
my doctor said i was a natural because it took me like 2 minutes for both eyes in total
and im a blinker
and taking them off takes less than 20 seconds
i care
Dr. S, I'm not sure where you are, but we use this video all the time to train our contact lens wearers. I like to show them both methods but this one always wins, hands down. Thank you for putting this out there in cyberspace for us opticians who were frustrated with the traditional method!
initially my problem was blinking.
Now it is the lens sticking to my finger better than my eyeball
it might be because your finger is more wet than your eye and it wants to stick to the wet thing. i think she said to make sure your finger wasn’t too wet! hope that helps
One thing that helped me is when you touch the lens to your eye, looked around and your lens will get into contact with your eye and stay there.
octapusxft SAME I pinched my eye while taking it out and I end up blinking with my left eye
Same! When I first got them the problem was my blinking, but now it’s that the lens just keeps sticking to my finger.
I personally keep my finger really dry, then look down and lift my finger up slightly instead of lifting my finger up to my eye and angling the lens so that they don't fall off my fingers
You are THE BEST!!! I was about to give up! I’m going to recommend this video to my Optometrist 🤓
"Before you put them in make sure you vision is not blurry"
Well isn't that the reason I am putting them in?
Lmaoo fr
I can literally see nothing without correction I can stand 5 feet from a stop sign and not make the letters out.
😂
This comment SENT me in the worst way 😭 I needed this laugh tysm
She had to put it on and remove it herself and did not release the lens for me to take home since I failed to do it on my own while in there.
same here bro it's embarrassing...
Omg same except it took 2 hours and I got them
Dude me too , i hate my self every time I need to lenses on
i also have this problem, a really good tip i have found that helps me at least is to line up your contact with your eyes and look away whileyou move the contact in. this way my eyelids dont know when to blink untill the contact is already on the eye!
i feel yah man, i feel yah! im in for my 4th frikkin time today to try the damn lenses!
cue Music "Never gona give you up" ehumn....
You’re a goddess! I just put my contact in within 1 minute compared to the 30 minutes it took me when my optometrist showed me! Thank you!
THIS VIDEO CHANGED MY LIFE.
Same here haha! Ugh outing contacts inside my eyes has never been so easy. It used to be a morning of F*** this and F*** that hahaha
same i usualy cant get it in the first time and i did
It was my first time trying contacts today, I had watched this video a week prior and decided to try this method for my first shot and believe me, my optometrist was speechless when she saw this technique, and said that I was a pro already when I removed the lenses in one go!
Same here
this video is super easy to understand and super helpful.
God bless you I've been struggling for a day and using your method it just took me a few minutes
Amaal Chebbi tell me about it! I've been struggling for two weeks. Finnaly I decided to use qtip 😂😅
Same here!
Same
This gives me hope that one day I could wear contacts.
Im going to buy mine today
me too
This video made all difference for me when applying contacts. I was hopeless that I would ever be able to get them in until her tips and tricks! Using the Side of my finger has made a crazy difference, rather than putting the lenses on the tip. Oys the only thing that worked for me.
SAME
Same I’m required to put them in at the eye doctors, and I had to reschedule because I couldn’t get them in for 30 minutes.
A tip I have: Whenever I put in my contacts I always close the eye that the contact has just been put in because it allows it to adjust easier. This is only for a few seconds.
Paper I actually just keep my eyes closed all day
Frederik N great idea I will try that too
I did this once and idk where the contact went. Idk if it fell and idk if it’s still logged in the back of my eyelid so I recommend you don’t do this 😂
Struggled for ages because I couldn't get my eyelids wide enough and my top lid was vibrating like hell, watched this video and got the lens in first time! 11 years later and still helping people 👍🏻
yo i can see without glasses my mind is BLOWN
I literally had the same reaction🤣
And now you can see what you look like without glasses
I had the same reaction
😂😂😂😂 me
haha i was laughing like i was really weird and people start looking at me
buy to be honest what a feeling
At first, I was all "eh, that won't work," but I decided to try. IT WORKED THE FIRST TIME! It has previously been taking me around 25 mins just to get them in, but this is so easy and fast. You just have to breathe, and tell yourself not to blink. Please try this method! It works perfectly (at least for me)!
Today was my first time ever attempt at putting contacts in, and by following this tutorial I got both lenses in in under 5 minutes! I got the right one in on the 2nd attempt and the left in on the 3rd. Brilliant tutorial, Thank you!
You are a life saver! I was about to go back to glasses. I'm gonna show this to my doctor next time I go there.
@obidurisgay expensive to maintain over specs maybe.
I've just started to wear contacts and I'm finding it hard to put my contacts on my eyes but hopefully this video will help!
This helped me so much I can final wear sunglasses
MakinMack - And watch 3D movies better!! 🤣
😎
Yesssss Yesssss !!!! 😂😂😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I just put sunglasses ontop of my actual glasses XD
MakinMack OMG IKRR!!😭😭
Woman!!!!u have made my life soooo much easier!!!! Blessings on you, blessings on your cow, and blessings on your goat and your chicken!
LOL😂
Does it hurt when u put it for the very first time..??? As I gonna take them too but really scared... As people say it hurts the eyes😫😫😫😵😵😵😷😷😷
I hadn’t it was just where I’d been trying for so long to get them in.,
However I’ve just done it for the first time at home and all went well 👍 but I’m going to try this way as I find it tricky to hold my top lid open wide enough, this way looks much easier
@@arbeenaislam1952 no it doesn't hurt at all just weird tryin to put in on ur eye but it don't hurt at all.
I remember when I dropped my lense I couldn't find it on the floor. Turns out it was on the mirror lol.
wooww same here hahaha
Same here😂
JeehoonOh this happened to me today😂😂
😂😂😂
Mine flew across to the toilet and i was at the mirror
I can't thank you enough! You helped me put on and take off my contacts by myself for the first time.
i wasn't getting a left contact in and re-watched this and got it in the first time after rewatching this.....thank you! so helpful
First time trying contacts this week. Nervous is an understatement
how'd it go?
Wow! No one has ever accomplished the mission of putting the lenses on my eyes. But this woman really helped me a lot... Really RESPECT!
Got mine in the next try with this method! This lady deserves a medal
This makes so much more sense than how I was taught
ARMY IS HERE TOO! WHAT THE HELL
I nearly cried tears of joy after finding this, god bless u ma'am
THANK YOU SO MUCH. The "teacher" at my optometrist's office was... mean, to say the least. Kept me there for over an hour because she just didn't get that I couldn't control my blink reflex (like she couldn't see how frustrated I was with myself after the 100th fail or so), then told my mom that I "don't have the guts" to stick it in my eye. I went back the next day; same results. Finally saw this video, went back after the weekend was over and showed her that I did actually have the "guts" to do this. If it weren't for this video I'd still be using glasses. Thank you!
I would request this beautiful lady update her video.
She helped thousands of people with her tutorial and I am one of them.
Thanks and God bless!
I had a nervous breakdown as it was my first time. I found this video and now I'm the happiest person.
I had tried and tried and failed I saw your video and I got them in, in 5 minutes. usally it took me an hour. Thanks it helped lots.
Me too! This is much much much easier than the way the eye doctors office showed me!
I know right!! Same here!!:)
claudia williams just came from there for the first time.. It was a disaster! Is this way in the video easier to do or no? BTW I have long eyelashes:(
I sincerely can't thank you enough for this video...
THANK YOU!
Six years later!
thanks... this method works best if you have large eyes
what can I do if I have small eyes
+vivafutbolista oh in that case , no doubts your fucked
Tererized PvP so you have large eyes?
Works also with medium sized eyes but i dont think itll work at all for small ones
ShaneStanley109 but all the sportsman get it done also...guess you just have to want it as much as possible
I hope you never delete this video. It is gonna save thousands of contact lens first timers!
Dr.
Side finger and pull bottom lid for sure worked for me!😊
This lady is the only reason I am wearing my contacts! Better lesson than any of my doctors taught me. Thank you!!! :)
I never comment on videos but this truly helped me. I was so scared that I would be able to do it. Thanks for your help.
*wouldnt
This REALLY REALLY HELPED ME!! Thank you for showing us!! It just took me less than a minute to put in both and with ease!
Yes!!
I got it within 10 minutes total for both
This was so useful and so in depth! I really appreciate that you took the time to create and post the lesson! :)
I don't have a problem with getting them out. It's really hard to put them in even with this technique. I always blink with my top eyelid.
Omfg same!! I think it's a guy thing
Your name is "Muslim Islam" but your profile picture is the american flag. What.
SAME
me toooo omg
+N'jaindeh where is the video?
It took me 3 hours over 2 sessions at the opticians to successfully put my lens in my right eye once. This method still took me 10 minutes (my right eye is incredibly twitchy) but that's an incredible improvement
You probably get this a lot, but, I just got daily contacts for the first time in my life today, and even after getting over the "don't touch your eye or else you'll lose it" anxieties I couldn't get the dang things out. Was about to throw up my hands and give up before I watched this video, really helped me realize I was approaching them the wrong way and got them out quite easily after that. You're a lifesaver!
I’ve been having my eye dr put time in for me for months now.. that took me 10 seconds I CANNOT thank you enough you just saved my life!!💕💕💕💕
You deserve milions of views. Thanks for sharing the good way of taking in and taking out contact lenses. God bless
Now she has 2.1 million views! But she deserves way more
This is amazingly helpful, thank you, doctor!
I was trying from the last 3 days to put in my contacts. I almost gave up and was about to throw away the lens then this video popped up in my feed.
I am able to put in my contacts under a minute after watching this. I can't thank you enough.
Even though it's 2020 and this video isn't hd quality this legit helped me so so much. Thank you!
