I'm pretty sure "expat" typically means temporary relocation. Immigrant usually implies something more permanent. Lot's of people i see that call themselves "expats" often bounce around from place to place quite a bit. Usually working remotely.

@@TheAndreisukaru2 Barcelona, and Catalunya in general (like Girona and Tarragona) is a beautiful autonomy, great weather and a lot of beautifull architecture(I specialy love Gaudi's work). However, the Capital of Spain(Madrid) is the best big city to live in on the country, it is cheaper than Barcelona, a very safe city with so much to do and to see, has an international airport(barajas) and is connected to the rest of the country by rails and buses, allowing you to visit places like Toledo, Murcia, Granada, País Valencià and so on.
