My name is Jon Santiago and I started World of Nuance to offer a window into the subtleties of humanity. It's my belief that the world isn't black and white, but instead one of many contrasts. The mission of this channel is to make videos enforce that message.

So she lives here and on a ship?
Different perspective and great info, Jonathan, on a fun topic. And nice to meet you today in Kansas.
Is anyone else reminded of Lady GaGa's voice when listening to Desiree??? Or is it just me?
I wonder how much gun violence is there vs United States?
Never. Its not the city, it’s the people.
😄Sterkt enig 💰-😊🎵😄Ønsker deg en vellykket yrkeskarriere
MISLEADING TITLE
I thought she lived on a ship...
She is
This is awesome 👍. Thank you!! Why have they not gotten many people to volunteer to renovate the ship? It could be stellar to see it in tip top condition!! And then they could hold so many more events!! People could have full time jobs outside of the ship and do projects together on times off. Just a suggestion.
A decent place to live in Oslo is on the low end of what it costs in the states, yet Norway is made out to be so so much more expensive...
💙🔥💙
Nice to see your channel pop up for both parts even if its a few months old now.
Asbestos?
Lucky Lady....I bet it gets colder than shit at nighttime
I would’ve stayed in San Luis it’s not a bad little town you got a beautiful beach not to far either
I have, but that was when I was a baby, maybe toddler, when my parents were getting married. I don't remember much, but I wish I did. 😅
❤
1st woman is basically saying she wants to "blank" a bunch of dudes and the 2nd is saying she "blanked" so many dudes in Colorado she needed a new city where no one knows her as the town bicycle 😂
So I’m confused, are there other people living on it?How does she pay for life, like food, cell phone, just anything really? Plus, if she doesn’t have a paying job, she’s earning nothing toward retirement, so how’s that working? 😮😂
I love that I am not the only one who wants to see a ghost but they avoid me like the plague.
Got a twin? Cause I thought you lived in a retired naval ship or some shit… hmmmmm
Yes. I do both jobs. That's explained in both videos.
@@dheveroh must over looked that, but it’s not free- you most definitely pay for it some how….spooky lmao
I guess different people like different things. Personally, I would never move there... or any city for that matter. Give me 100+ acres in a remote part of the country and I'll be fine.
It looks a little bit like the WW2 liberty ship call ‘The Alkimos’.
The first 48 told me not to move to Tulsa 😂
1:15 it's Rosie the Riveter
Literally living rent free in people's minds🎉🎉🎉🎉
My neighbor is a firefighter in SF, he said the easiest way is to be apart of the lgbtqrstuv group. They don’t turn any of them down.
What a rare and beautifully empathic person! David has been an inspiration to me! ❤
Great to hear that. Thanks for watching Lisa!
Te la devoras en el mar 😂
She works on a ship 🤷♂️
She said heck yeah she's a a freeloader
FAntastic old ship...like it a lot
Thats pretty cool
I’d give anything to live there
Weird works for me, too!! Weird keeps the good alive.
I wonder where she puts her cats
Very cool!
Why does she have to dress so stupid? The music was so annoying in this video.
Wow! What a nice story. So true. Meeting people and experiencing our precious and limited time here on earth with other people all around the world brings such joy to our life. The good people on earth outnumber the bad 10,000 to 1. It's a good idea to get out there and meet those amazing good people.
Desiree is awesome. I love her personality. Do more videos with her. So exciting to live on this ship. She is truly lucky to do what she loves. She works hard to live there rent free. So cool, I just love everything about living there. I feel like going to Pearl Harbor to see if they have a ship from WW2 that I can live on. Lol. Thank you Desiree for sharing your story. Sending lots of Aloha from Honolulu. ❤🌺
Fun fact, I lived in Maili for 3 years when I was young so a big Aloha to my Island Ohana!! Mahalo for watching
@@dheverohso you were a Kama’aina at one time. I’ve been here since 83. It probably changed a lot since you lived here. High rise buildings everywhere. I just watched the video with you at the MAC Hotel. Such a lovely place. You are such a precious person. If I could have a best friend, it would be someone just like you. Positive and funny and the cutest personality. I hope you have a great Sunday. ❤️🌻
@@carmendaniel3734 yup! Once I tanned really well they stopped calling me Hauli! Sending you much aloha from da mainland
Such a pleasant person and an interesting life!
Watta coolio chick. I bet she's a hella rad hang. Its so rare to find someone that appreciates antiquated things and experiences
This is a lovely story. Thank you for bringing this to us
My Dad was an engineer on board of several Vics - lots of cool stories and photographs. Once, they took one on a long haul to Asia (through Suez) to end as scrap - how sad. It still had a last cargo. So, they didn't paint anything any longer and even build a pool on board, anything goes as long as they did not incur costs! Arrived, ship as sold as scrap ...... and resold again to be used as a local cargo ship in Indonesian (and regional) waters! .... That was early sixties, after twenty years. That particular ship was built to specs: to cross the Atlantic eight times (not sure if these were round trips or not) ..... that's it! Eight times cross Atlantic to fuel Britain - and by then it probably went down under.... Let's then salute the merchant marine of those days as well. What can we learn: to build a ship in such a mass produced way, you need to focus on essentials only, stuff had to be basic (for production sake) and standardized and thus: had a much greater quality than anybody would expect! Holland America Line (my Dad's employer) was one of the European lines which post WWII 'got' some of the very many Victory ships post war. They were used to re-energize the European economy as so much was destroyed. Similar today: Ukraine. We need to support it well after the Russians are kicked out. Any way - thanks so much for this take!!
She is amazing🤩
Is it haunted?
Any strange sounds or things that go bump in the night ? I’m pretty sure you’re not alone .
