You have a very unique life and it's so Cool that your resume dovetails right into your jobs! Kudos! The Lighthouse "caretaker", the Ships caretaker, and Hotel Manager, and you are having fun while doing it!! The thing that gets me though, is that L O N G commute from the Hotel to the Ship... How do you handle it?? 😆😆😆😆!
The Vaporous Guests are in most hotels that are over 100+ years old..... We have a few here at the Hotel Congress downtown, at the Copper Queen in Bisbee(I didn't get to see them...), and in my home town of Douglas, The Gadsden.
I'd pay money😁 just to watch Casa Blanca, Key Largo, or any old B&W movies in the Ships "Theater".. lol! That would be a blast! Yes, I watched both "episodes". Again, very cool!

I love that she lives completely outside society’s basic expectations of her and she loves that about herself and her life. She’s proudly doing what she’s passionate about. A beautiful woman, inside and out. Respect!

Yeah this is a bit odd. There's an entire video by the same channel dedicated to her life on "an Old World War II Cargo Ship" that, best as I can tell, makes no mention of the fact that she also lives here. I mean hey, I skipped around, maybe I missed it. But I'd expect this video to start with "Hey, we're following the same woman from the previous video and she **also** lives here!"
@literarynick She rotates around the two different properties. It says in the beginning she spends half the week at the ship and the other half at the hotel. There's a co ship keeper.

I was so sad that Hotel Mac closed for a time but I'm so happy that it's reopened and busy. But, I didn't know anything about the ghost, or the General Manager. Such a good story.

I just moved to southern California about 2 years ago so my partner and I could be closer to his family and I have so many places I want to visit!

I am so impressed about how you don’t let your ego rule your production style. It comes across as confident and inquisitive; too often I have seen what would have been an interesting topic turned off for me by the producer over-narrating or over-inserting themselves into the story. This is a wonderful woman so talented in her genre of skills. There is a certain amount of charmed living here but for many that's just environment. I love the trio of the Lighthouse, the ship and the Hotel that keeps her life full.

When I was a teenager, living in Lafayette Calif., me and my girlfriends used to go spend Fri/sat nights at “The Point” (Point Richmond) because it was the coolest place to hang out and there were a lot of cute boys hanging out down at the park. Lol
Memories there are all good. I loved it there.

I was a regular customer at the Mac for more than 10 years lol. Fish tacos and Ian was the best bartender ever. I don’t have time to party anymore but if there’s someone who knows the Mac, that would be me 😅

It got me to tune in on another video.
Esrly 2000, I was in San Francisco and came across a building that had a small corner store and an Italian restaurant next to it. It was multi story and the top rooms could be rented out.
It was built in 1921.
I was seriously looking at buying the olace, especially since it already had commercial tenants.
I should have, but missed that opportunity.
I can only imagine how much its value has grown.
