Valerie I have to say your channel is very underrated... I learnt so much just by watching your videos, it helped me a lot with my move. Your direct and detailed explanations are so helpful for a person like me that has to learn everything about the city as soon as possible. Thank you and please keep up the fantastic work ♥
Barcelona is a lot cheaper than the United States 🇺🇸 especially much cheaper than L.A where I live where average rent for a apartment is like $2,500, utilities probably $250 a month, health insurance for me at a good job $80 a month, gas for my car $5 a gallon, food cost me $600 a month at the grocery store not counting if I go out to eat at a restaurant etc car payment for a 2020 Honda Accord $460 a month and car insurance $240 a month. In short the United States is very expensive compared to Barcelona and most of Europe lol.
People in the United States 🇺🇸 with young kids easily paying $1,000 a month for day care, public schools are free but private schools cost easily $2,000 a month or more here in California and I'm sure most other States in the United States 🇺🇸. I love my country but it's gotten way to expensive to live.

Yes, compared to Barcelona, the US is very expensive 🤷 with a US salary you can have a great life here :)
Yes with the $76,000 a year I'm making here in California, I could live comfortable in Barcelona 😎

Barcelona is getting more and more expensive 🙈
I think it is hard to compare California and Spain since the incomes and taxes are so different
@@SchwSchw of course, it's not just the salary, it's also the expenses and lifestyle

@@radwanaplicant3707 oh woww!! Haha sure say hi!
If the price per square metre is 23 euros then the place for 1500 per month is going to be very small.
65m2 is a 2 bedroom flat
@@PickaPictour that’s still really small for a 2 bedroom. I’m basing a 2 bed on 92 square metres so will have to look at more like €2,300 a month
@@jayg1980 yes 🤷
@@jayg1980 Check the video rental prices 2024!
@@PickaPictour would you say €200 per month for water, gas and electricity and waste in a 2 bedroom is a reasonable budget?
