Use a product called slip plate to prevent snow from clogging. It’s just basically like a paint that nothing will stick to it. It’s graphite paint kinda thing. Another option you might want to consider is a heated driveway. Never needs to be plowed ever. It will save you a lot of hours of time and work.
I use what I think are marketed as a candle warmer to keep my coffee cup warm. I see them at thrift stores all the time and most have a round flat surface that a mug can sit on and you plug it into the wall.
I live in Maine so lots of snow and very cold. Big snowblowers can be used as n wetter snow. But the key is high flow hydraulics and moving very slow as you go. Have to let the snowblower do the work and throw the snow rather than forcing it and letting it get filled up so it’s pushing the snow instead of throwing it. I’d get either a 50-60 horse tractor with a third function loader mounted blower. Or a skid steer with blower.
👍👍 personally, kind of looking for mill and maybe a bigger lathe. I think it would be cumbersome as a combo and would affirm the fact that you wouldn’t use the mill much. Most folks don’t use a mill much m, until they get one.
Brennan nailed it as i have the same issue,space..my shop building 18000sq ft,9000 per floor..i run a sawmill and have fairly large woodshop and indoor lumber storage with people constantly giving me "stuff"..my woodshop is filled with grizzly tools ..i have 17" bandsaw,8" jointer,20" planer,2 dust collectors, combo beltsander,5hp hybrid table saw w router, stand up mortiser,shaper,18×47 wood lathe, radial drill press,4×6 metal bandsaw n been super happy with the grizzly tools, only other brands are a 20" american jointer jointer and my south bend 8" lathe..id love to have that grizzly combo lathe /mill..moving sucks...ill die here!!
I start my fires in October. Im southern Ont Canada. We got hit with 46" of snow and a possible 1.5 feet today. Been brutal. No power , internet or phone but its back on now. Cheers
When I moved out of state a couple years ago ,400 miles one way. I rented a semi truck and 53 foot trailer, (I have a CDL). Hired 3 moving guy for 4 hours to just load the trailer. Total cost was under 2000 dollars. It was a cheap and easy move.
Snow blowers and throwers will do light snow amounts but will break shear pins in heavy wet snow. Bigger tractor with bucket all wheel drive of course.
Title insurance is the biggest scam ever. The keep something like 98% of their revenue. If you read the fine print, they only guarantee the title (for things like liens) on things they find. In other words, if they don’t find it, you are on the hook, which basically means they don’t do anything except collect your money. As for watching folks split wood, I prefer watching the cute little lesbian over that dude! 🤦🏻♂️😁 Still like your shirt jack! 👍🏼
Get a 5 Axis CNC, and you can start doing Dimple Porting on intake Ports. It might even work on Transfers. It doesn't seem like the Chainsaw porting community have figured out that trick yet.
Why in gods name would you move to NY state I live 10 miles from the state line in Penn and some many people are trying to get out. I had a tri-axle dump truck back in 07 and on for a few years and to do business in NY was a nightmare so I just stayed out if you have any handguns don't take them till you see if you can get a permit for them I will not go in that state with a handgun and I have a permit in Penn. Good luck on your move
Get a Yeti 20oz mug. They are stupid expensive, mine was SWAG from a vendor the wife uses. Id buy one to replace it. No better endorsement, than this from a tightwad Pa German.
Just burn all that shit? Welcome to NYS where the DEC loves it when you just burn shit...lol Snow blower is way to go. Wet snow takes time but you can pile it up a lot higher with blower and eliminate plow damage to driveways and lawns. Your moving into the belly of the beast when it comes to lake effect snow...😁

A nuker in the garage for your coffee would be good.
Not a bad price at all IMO to move 3 pods that far. Hectic indeed, but at least you have somewhat of a game plan! decisions, decisions😁

My front mount center pto drive 56” blower does fine on my 25 hp deer
Did you compare pods to having a traditional moving company handle your move?
Ive only seen one where he chops. Everything else seems to be splitting
What part of NY are you moving.
Where in Ny are you moving? I'm in NW CT.

People have tried and doesn’t do anything noticeable, seen dimples in pistons ect too.
How much you selling the Ga property for?
$900k
@ Nice, I’m new to finding your channel. Good luck with the move!
I use a 7 foot snowblower on my tractor. Not much i can't get rid of.
Occasional rock?
Occasional rock?
@ yeah one or two. 🤣
Irene's Camry would handle that snow better with real snow tires and 2 sandbags on the passenger side floor board.
🎉
Check out Smitty lathe/mill combo
