Novak didn’t invent fanned frets. He bluffed his way into gaining that patent. There’s examples of them dating hundreds of years back.

I like the way fan fret instrument's sound. I wish someone would come out with versions that have a retro vibe. They usually look too futuristic for my taste.

Really want to try a fan fret board one day. All we have locally is ibanez but i want that dingwall sound. Digging your videos so far.
