If anybody is serious about visiting Turkmenistan, apply for visa in Ankara, Turkey and apply for a transit visa for traveling from Turkey to Uzbekistan through Iran and Turkmenistan, getting Iranian and Turkmen visas this way is almost 100%!! Turkmenistan isn't bad as much as North Korea but the country has severe problems, during Soviet era there were very limited efforts to develop the country expect it's gas/oil industry. After Turkmenistan became independent in 1991 the government inherited this gas industry and now the country doesn't really have a private sector and vast majority of people work for the government which makes it the absolute power in the country without any checks nor balances. Turkmen private sector is slowly growing but it could take decades because the country has only 6 million population and vast majority of the country is just desert...
A very good friend of mine is originally from Uzbekistan but she never mentioned to me how GREAT the first class in Uzbekistan's trains is... I WONDER WHY...?! ^^ :D Thanks for making me laugh so hard after a long hard day at work! :)
Looking at this video as a Kazakh when I'm about to board the train in the Netherlands to go from The Hague to Rotterdam - what a contrast! I have never been on trains in Kazakhstan or other Central Asian countries, only in America (Connecticut to NYC Grand Central Terminal), Germany (fast ICE trains), and the Netherlands where I currently live
It still boggles my mind how Oskar and Dan have time to watch Drag Race (or at least know the references) considering they’ve been trotting around the world, edit and do other stuff. Slay
Ok guys, my first class bedroom compartment on Amtrak’s long distance US routes (which I’ve taken several times) look like heaven compared to this “first class” compartment. Hope you did a “Silkwood Scrub Down” after you got to the hotel!! 😂. Love your vlogs! ❤️🌈
Dude, that must be a former Soviet train🤣🤣 I grew up in Romania and never / ever used public transport there, I don’t even use the metro in Paris, it’s so funny seeing ppl.from the West trying all the 💩 transport in any dodgy country only by curiosity 😆
I’m from Uzbekistan and you guys just got scammed for those snacks. I’m not sure if it’s actually free or you need to pay. But if you needed to it should cost like 2-4$. 200,000 som is WAYYYYYYYY TOOO MUCH
this is so amazing .... how did u get korean food ... u should come to my country here are bibimbob's heaven ^^ 회비빔밥 육회비빔밥 청국장비빔밥 ㅎㅎㅎ all kind of bibimbob waiting for u
As a gay guy myself, who has travelled extensively including to central asia, I find you guys to sound unbelievably precious. You're in a developing country, obviously things wont be up to Swedish standards. You should probably stay home until you lighten up a bit. I bet one of you is a Taurus. You also sound like the gay couple in American Dad.
I’m from Uzbekistan and I m going back for the summer and I’m just watching videos and getting hyped to go 😊 thank you for showing it
Yay have a great time!!❤️

Uzbekistan is really a beautiful country, a must visit❤❤
120%!
Not a drama queen at all, the thought of any part of my body touching that toilet seat freaks me out.
😂😂😭😭
Boys, it looks like there's a luggage shelf behind you (in the ceiling) at 6:11.
After Kara and Nate stopped travelling around the globe you guys are my new find!!! Keep up the good work!!

😂😂😂 Our pleasure!!
So you didn’t ask, or she has no experience for comparison, or she hasn’t seen the films

LOL yeah these old trains don’t compare, just the fast trains!😅 Thank you!!🙏❤️
Old German proverb: "When someone goes on a trip, he can tell something".
People in Uzbekistan called Uzbeks . Not uzbekistani.

HOney. HOONEEEEYY!!
oh gosh, Amtrak is only still afloat because there is no alternative. (Metrolink doesn't count, the routs are way shorter and time slots are limited.)
A guy walked by the door at 8:18 who looked like he had a McDonald's emblem on his shirt sleeve.
Loved the adventure ♥️ happy pride month ❤️🌈
Amazing
Damn Oskar is such a beautiful man, Dan is lucky xP
The luggage goes under the beds
Honestly, I would avoid that bathroom and risk IBS for the rest of the trip!
Happy pride💙 loved your vids😀😀
Happy pride🙏💕
Much love y’all❤️
Are you still in Uzbekistan, guys?
No, we were there in April (before it got too hot)😂😅
I’m from Uzbekistan and you guys just got scammed for those snacks. I’m not sure if it’s actually free or you need to pay. But if you needed to it should cost like 2-4$. 200,000 som is WAYYYYYYYY TOOO MUCH

Adventure is good, no ?
20.000 sum =less than 2$
thats sad, i am feeling you guys late for train, even mostly people don't know English as well as you think :(
Luckily we didn’t miss it though!☺️
🌺🙏🌺
"I would just take the fast train, it was so nice, nicer than trains in Europe"... Um, the fast train is European. It's a Talgo from Spain.
Yup! But far from all countries in Europe use Talgo :)
@@OskarandDan No, but Amtrak does in the Pacific Northwest. Seimens and Alstom trains are just as nice which most of Europe does use.
1:42 smells good through the mask, right?
That’s toilet made me hurl
🤢
Where are ur India videos 🥺🥺
We didn't vlog back then unfortunately!
@@OskarandDan oh ok ok but u both are adorable couple hope to see u in canada
Love you guys and your vegan food! So nice to not have to see people eating animals in a video.
Yay so happy for fellow vegan viewers🙏🌱
