love the videos. Its interesting because when I think about how "easy" it is for Europeans and North Americans to travel.... to most places...it just reminds me that the world really isnt level. Visa restrictions here and racism over there. Hopefully the future brings a better world
@@SergioGarcia-cn2kd Climate is surprisingly very similar, although after research I feel like Montenegro should be a lil bit warmer (seaside region) and Slovenia colder (especially in Julian Alps region). The nature is beautiful in both countries, although I recomend visiting Slovenia in spring more and visiting Montenegro in summer. It's my opinion so you should be a judge of what you like the most (search on google): Slovenia: Ljubljana, FAMOUS Bled (most highly recomend), Soča River, Triglav National Park, Postojna Cave, Piran, Kranjska Gora, Zelenci Natural Reserve, Lake Jasna Montenegro: Ulcinj, Biogradska Gora National Park (breathtaking in my opinion), FAMOUS Saint Stefan (highly recomend), Mount Lovcen, Ostrog Monastery, Perast, Durmitor National Park, Budva, Kotor As I live in Slovenia and I've never been in Montenegro, I did a quick research on best tourist sites in Montenegro.
My visit to Slovenia in 2018 was a dream trip, After watching the 1986 Jacky Chan's Armour of God movie, where he went to the Predjama Castle to rescue his friends, visiting the Predjama Castle has since been on my travel bucket-list. Finally, after 32 long years, I finally made it and left my footsteps inside the castle.
As a Slovenian, this is just amazing. If you ever come back, you must see the river Soca (to me the most beautiful river in Europe, is not the world):).

Slovenia is such a wonderful country. I visited in 2005 when I went with my brother. We have cousins that live in Maribor. Lake Bled was literally magical! Did you row across to the church and ring the bell? It is supposed to bring you good luck! Also, I realize you had limited time but Predjama Castle (literally a castle that is built into the side of a mountain) was something to see!
Slovenia is one of the only if not the only country in the world where you can go hiking in 2k+ mauntains, go skiing, visit a cave sistem, bathe in sea and see an elderforest in one day. I dont think there are many places like this.

I just came across your Slovenia trip after watching you in Ireland. I'm Irish and have never made it to Slovenia yet, but my nephew lived there for a year with his Slovenian girlfriend and has always raved about how beautiful it was. Great video 😄 If you ever come back to Slovenia, you absolutely must visit Soca valey. For me it is the most beautieful and favourite place to visit. There is so much to see: waterfalls (Kozjak, Virje, Boka,...), Velika and Mala korita Soce, Krn lake ( if you are up for a 2h hike),...

My grandma was from slowenia and she had a house near lake bled where id visit in summer every yr. My mom and me swam to the island a lot of times in my childhood. I didnt get to go this year so this was beautiful to see. Also fun slowenia fact, its the country with the smallest gap between the poorest and the richest citizen! so yay slowenia

I recomend you two go visit lake Soča, Postojna cave, Maribor (the worlds oldest wine tree), the wineyards and of course Lipica ((you two can see and even ride a slovenian horse breed)(it si my favorite place in slovenia because i love horses)) Even though you two are vegan you can still eat some delicious tradicional slovenian foods like yota, prežganka, prekmurska gibanica, potica, žlikrofi, žganci...... I fell inove with Slovenia, too. I found Ljubljana to be a very musical city, there were musicians at every street corner when I was there.

Kar nekaj tradicionalnih jedi je (naključno) veganskih. Npr matevž, belokrajinska pogača, bovški krafi,… ☺️

In general yes! Hmm, not too many surprises in Europe (it’s what you’d expect) but we were just in Riga and Vilnius and the offerings there were way better than expected!
