I just used this video to make my own bum roll and I just realized it's almost a foot at it's widest point because it had to be proportional to me but if I wanted to go full Elizabethan width I would probably have it be 2 feet wide around the sides and front and made of velvet. I doubt I'd fit through a door....or a car...or even the bathroom stalls at a con.
