Beautiful! And the next time I hear someone complain about 15 minutes being too long to finish a project I'm going to direct the to this video.
it's absolutely wonderful to see people cosplaying wicked after 20 years!
thank you for keeping the magic of ox alive
Thank you 😊
The tears I have in my eyes whenever I see someone complete their dream projects. What a beautiful and inspiring creation. And to have it documented!! Amazing. Thank you for sharing your process with us.
Awww thank you!
It’s astonishing. You’ve done it. And it’s been a pleasure to have been part of this journey. Thanks for sharing 💕.
Thank you so much for being on this journey with me friend!
that intro gave me chills queen. so happy to see this all come together. can't wait to see this in person.
Aww thank you, I'm so glad you like the intro
Congratulations on making your dream come true Sweet Oz, it’s jaw dropping how much work you put into making the dress alone and the crown, wand and jewelry, congratulations on your success at the end of the yellow brick road 😊🩵🏠🌪️🌈🫧
Thank you 😊
This is the best Glinda cosplay I have ever seen you did so good.the 2 years of work paid off great job
Thank you so much 😀
Absolutely gorgeous. It's a tribute to your skills, problem solving and determination and also to the original costumier and technicians who produced it for the stage. It has been fascinating to follow.
Awww thank you so much 😊
Congratulations on the finished dress! It looks awesome! The hard work paid off.
Thank you 😊
im going to spam this video with good comments every time is on my recomended videos.Congratulations girl, you did the most gorgoeus piece of art
Thank you so much! That means so much to me 🥰
It was such a joy to watch this video from start to finish. Thank you for sharing this with us and congratulation on completing such a beautiful masterpiece! Can't wait to see the upgrades you plan to work on and the next project you begin :)
Thank you so much! I love sharing my work and it means a lot to me that you enjoyed watching 😊
Such a wildly impressive and huge project. Incredible work!
Thank you, I'm glad you like it
Btw, you can use a straight long needle to pick up sequins in the bead spinner, sorry the tip was too late to save you any time ❤ amazing work, I’m very glad I found your channel!
You're work is stunning and so worth the wait to see it in full
Thank you, that means so much to me!
Wonderful work. Thank you for sharing this journey it has been so lovely. If you want to continue doing soldering work, try a soldering iron to help better control the heat distribution than just a torch.
You are so talented and patient. 2 things you need to make this spectacular piece of art. Congratulations on the dress it's stunning just stunning and very floofy. Xx
Thank you so much 😊
It’s absolutely stunning, and I have to commend your dedication to accuracy even for things only you (and I guess us) will see
Thank you so much! The challenge I gave myself was to replicate the gown as much as possible and hot damn that was a challenge but I'm glad I gave it a valiant effort. Now I can actually say that I'm not a fan of doing replica work but I can appreciate those who love doing it.
Absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to see the "upgrades" and your competitions!!
Thank you so much!
Absolutely STUNNING!
Thank you so much!
The dress is absolutely wonderful. God bless you
Thank you so much!
It’s so incredibly beautiful 🥰
Thank you 😊
I have been following this project and waiting for this video since you first mentioned it, and it did not disappoint. You look amazing! Your passion for your craft definitely shines through in the quality and attention to detail.
An idea: I recently saw someone making a wire frame for part of their costume, and they used a dot of UV resin at each of the joints to strengthen them. So if you ever need to make a frame for another collar (or for wings or a prop), that might be a better idea than just scotch tape.
Oh that UV resin idea is brilliant! I will file that one away, thank you! Also thank you so much, I am so happy you enjoyed it.
It’s been so fun following your Glinda progress. No surprise it turned out as marvelous as it did! Loved all the behind the scenes footage!!
Aww thank you 😊
It looks wonderful, fantastic job!! ❤
Thank you 😊
Amazing creation.
Glad you like it 😊
Wow Casey... You're such an inspiration, I can't believe you gave us the honor of watching this beautiful process 💖✨ thank you and, of course, congratulations 🎉
Thank you so much for coming in this journey with me 😊
well done!
Thank you 😊
Petticoat, are you sure it was lines of stitching and not pin tucks? They might really help strengthen your under layer
Use flux? It might make it easier to make the crown
Hi! I'm new on your channel, but I've seen you on other's videos, for example Sarah Spaceman. I know you've competed in a lot of cosplay contests, and I absolutely love your work. So I've been cosplaying for about 2 years, and I would like to get into competing. I wanted to ask you, (because I know you've also judged competitions), do the cosplays in competitions have to be sewn? Because as a crocheter, and someone who crochets my cosplays and who doesn't sew, is it possible to compete in a crocheted cosplay, or does it have to be fabric work/armour/what you would usually see in a cosplay competition?
It's absolutely possible to compete in a crochet costume, as a judge some things I look for on crochet costumes is the use of different stitches and different yarn to create a variety of textures that would represent different textured fabrics, I also personally look for if you drafted the crochet patterns yourself or if you bought them, at entry level buying them is totally understandable but as you win awards and move up categories it's very important to make sure you're leveling up the difficulty of the costume as well. Thank you so much for following my work and I look forward to hearing about your experience with cosplay contests 😊
what's the link for that wig?
I'm so sorry I can't find the link for the life of me, I bought it over 2 years ago from Wig is Fashion
I clicked so fast that I may have shattered every bone between my forefinger and my shoulder. I'm not calling anambulance until I've watched the whole video.
Oh noo lol well I hope it is worth the watch, this is my favorite intro I have ever made and overall I am really happy with how far I have come as a video maker and a costume maker.
@CaseyReneeCosplay The intro was perfect, I loved the monologue moment too, and the gorgeous pre-reveal. The final result is breathtaking; well done with the insane amount of work this took, and the result is beautiful, loved the hair and makeup too.
