As a girl who wears heels for 20 hours sometimes let me tell you that the best trick is to walk around the house with them to train your feet and prepare the shoe for stretching because your feet will get swollen. And always have a pair of flats in your purse just in case

hafizatul sufiah yaacob if it's closed toe shoes I usually use the hairdryer trick. I blow dry the inside of the shoe till it's nice and warm, wear the shoe (with a thick socks on) while it's still warm and walk around in it till it cools down. Test your shoes after. If it's not broken in enough, repeat.

In my experience wearing heels a size too big causes more pain. When it fits you properly it’s making sure maximum foot arch to shoe insole which means less pressure on the balls or heels of the foot. You are better off using cushion points for anywhere that might cause blisters

For the sinking in grass issue: There are small circle items you can purchase that slip onto the end of the heel, and then the circle part lays flat on the ground, preventing the heel from sinking 🤗
You can also purchase textured slip proof pads than are thin and made to to on the bottoms of your shoes- they are shaped for the front and back to prevent slipping. It’s helpful especially when you’re walking heel first.

For me, the problem is just the effect of gravity. No matter how I try to position myself, the slope created by most heels and the pressure exerted upward causes my feet to dig into the top and immense pain on the soles of my feet. I just can’t. Plus, wearing heels is not healthy long-term, so I usually stick with flats.

Now that I'm a whole 150lbs, I can still wear my stilettos but not more than 5 hours a day, my new best friends are blocked heels, wedges and ankle boots. I can walk, run, and last all day long if I'm wearing a more comfortable shoe. And yes, I am still into 4-5 inches of heels, but with platforms and blocked heels. ❤️
To stretch out the size, I wear it around the house with thick socks on. To alleviate the pain of rubbing, I apply petroleum jelly inside then wipe it off lightly, just enough to slide it in without having to endure much pain. Then, for additional comfort, you can use gel protectors. 😊

I can say as graduate of physiotherapy and cosmetology, as for our posture high heels are causing a lot of pressure on our lower back to balance the body. We have a lot of pressure on our knees and calves that have to be exposed on additional imbalance intake. But what is good :) is that low heels are more recommended then flat shoes. So keep the heel from 2-5 cm. This light version will increase circulation in your legs and also exercise them. Platforms are always better due to right distribution on pressure. I might record a movie about it from physio perspective :) what do you think ?

Rubbing deep heat on your feet before wearing heels will numb your foot helping to distract you away from the pain you may get in the balls of your feet after wearing heels for a long period of time. I advise this for all my brides to do on their wedding day (I’m a bridal consultant)

When the shoe rubbing the back of my ankle or a toe I use clear band aids for swimming in that area. They stick much better than regular band aids and they are usually transparent. For stilettos I don't buy a size larger because they are wobbly on the foot and decrease stability while walking.

These types of shoes are just straight up uncomfortable bc there is no cushioning. Ball of foot inserts and moleskin to prevent blisters are the only things that have allowed me to wear heels for only a few hours. Now that I'm older my joints hurt and there's nothing that can help that lol

Watching this even though I can't really wear heels 💔 I've got hereditary bunions and I'm only 20 years old. Trying to make outfits look cute or being in settings where heels are expected is so annoying. They're also my favourite type of shoe, so it's so disheartening not being able to wear them, even just for special occassions

The best way is to buy comfortable high heels. Just find out which is your preferences hight. Mine is 7cm to 9 cm and I feel like being bare foot. NEVER EVER buy a shoe bigger or smaller even if they are the cutest pair on earth, believe me there are also some other cute pairs somewhere and they will be comfortable. Bigger shoe is not comfortable because it doesn't support the arch of your foot, same for smaller shoes plus they are too tight. Uncomfortable cute wrong size shoes are more likely to stay in the closet.
