Awesome humor even past the end, wasn’t the same watching a thanksgiving day special rerun this year had to stop it and step away couple times, God speed Paul
Roy seems to be the opposite of Paul. He's calm and laid back, and he seems like the kind of guy who never gets mad at anything. There is no "good" or "bad" personality here, just noticing the difference.
While taking a trip to Wyoming i introduced my friends to pop tarts as a range snack and shared the story of Paul. I didn't have cell coverage at the time and found out afterwards that was the day Paul passed on. Thank you Roy and the team for continuing Paul's legacy.
Still hard for me to accept that he’s actually gone. Thanks for all the years of teaching, guidance and life lessons you provided Mr Harrell and asking nothing in return. You’re one in a million. RIP Gone but not forgotten.
Legends never die… RIP Paul Let’s not forget Roy is a legend for keeping this channel alive and well preserving the past and with plenty of new content
Thank you, Roy, for continuing Paul's legacy and adding your own touch to it. Thank you to the "Crew" for making these videos. Rest in Peace, Paul, our teacher and sage.
You're an amazing Brother and Friend, Roy. Pauls Legacy is still impacting the 2A Community, long after His passing. He was the GOAT, and knew how to convey ideas to folks in a manner that made the soak up his knowledge and also apply that knowledge. When I first started watching Pauls videos about 5/6 years ago, I found it surprising how much I didn't know about Firearms, even after 25 years of experience. Thank you for all of your hard work. And thank you for continuing the vision that Paul had. From Me and my Wife, Thank You and God Bless.🥰
Last year was a rough one wasn’t it? Thank you for the Thanksgiving Special! Some ideas for next year… Each month do a Top 10 of Paul. Example, Top 10 Funniest Gun/Ammo Review, Top 10 Funniest Paul Stories, Top 10 silliest Paul Wisecracks, Top 10 Badass moments of Paul. It keeps Paul a part of the channel and redirects back to existing content. Hope this helps, and looking forward to 2025!
Condolences to family, friends and community. He was a great man and will be missed, indeed we've lost a real one if ever there was one. GOD bless everyone.
Thanks for posting. It's sad to see how fast Paul went downhill. I hope you and the rest of Paul's family and friends can find some comfort in knowing that he positively educated so many and what an amazing inspiration he was to so many.
Back in the 70's and 80's you rarely heard of anyone getting pancreatic cancer. Now it pops up all the time. It used to be super rare which makes me think something has changed in our environment/food.
The one thing that really got me hooked was the methodical and comprehensive battery of tests, whether it was on a firearm or ammo. That was: 1. velocity avgerages 2. paper target for accuracy 3. meat target for penetration and bullet analysis The other thing that hooked me was Paul's M9 instruction. All my years as an Army MP I never got such a tutorial, but I was always a sharpshooter and one time expert on the pistol. That's what I like to look for in firearm reviews are the little quirks, tips, and tricks. All these lessons are timeless. Thank you.
Hi Roy, I enjoyed this clip of looking back very much! Thank you and the crew for all your hard work and time Sir.R.I.P. Paul your brother is doing awesome! 🤠🇺🇲
Life's simple. You see a notification from this channel, stop everything you're doing and watch the damn video! Thanks Roy and Crew! ps: loved the head turn, great nod to Paul!
Eternal rest grant unto him, and may perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed; through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Loved the video. Such a beautiful 97 on the table there. What's the vintage on that Pop Tarts box? Paul taught me an incredible amount about firearms, firearm safety, and operation. The countless demonstrations with the meat targets are ALWAYS relevant, and the 12 gauge shells on sheetrock changed how I load my shotgun for my home. My family and neighbors are much safer because of what Paul showed me in that video, and I'll never forget it. Thank you all for picking up the torch, and my eternal thanks to Paul for everything he did for myself and millions of others.
RIP Paul. His Mozambique video is the one that got me practicing that drill. Glad you are keeping his channel going. Cant wait for the PSA Paul Harrell Special.
Hi Team Harrell! First, this was a fun video, so thanks. Second, Roy asks viewers to voice the kind of content they want to see. One of my favorite type videos, that Paul did so much, was the comprehensive testing presentations. I really like those.
I watch most of my YT videos on our TV but I try to remember to also play them on my phone as well so that the channels I really like get a two-fer in the analytics. I've told myself to be more mindful of doing that this year. I appreciate all that you guys are doing in Paul's absence and I wish you the very best! I like all types of guns from single shot rifles to the ones with giggle switches on them. I like semi auto pistols, polymer and steel alike but as I get older I find that I get the most enjoyment from my revolvers, lever action rifles and any of the guns of the old West. I'd like to see some episodes dedicated to single action revolvers, double action revolvers, lever guns, coach guns and even the old single shots of the era like the Springfield trapdoors (I have an 1873 carbine myself) and Sharps rifles if possible. A Sharps carbine in .45-70 is one of my grail guns I hope to acquire someday.
I’ve never met nor have known Paul, but after watching his videos for years and years I feel a sort of connection with him, and I sincerely miss seeing new videos from him on my RUclips subscription page. By the way Roy, you’re doing one heck of a great job though, and you’re growing on me for sure. I learned a lot from Paul’s videos, and I go back every now and then to rewatch a few of my favorites. I’m sure that there are a lot of others who feel this way, Paul is surely missed. Be well all, and be prepared. - Jason/Vermont, USA
Thanks Roy, and crew. I appreciate your videos. It hit me in the heart when I seen Paul again, he was a great American, and an outstanding teacher for the community. Edit: Roy, thanks for conituing his legacy, you're making us all proud.
We will always miss Paul. He honestly knew so much, and wanted to distribute that information to the world. And he did a GREAT job of that! // on a separate note, watching this I had a thought for a future video. If you have the capability of making it. I know that you can not go buy firearms at the drop of the hat. So if you can't find the second pistol to borrow, I will understand. I would like to see a comparison between a 1911, and a double stack 1911. An honest review discussing the pluses and minuses of each, and if the double stack is worth the extra weight, cost, hard to find parts, etc.
Cannot believe it has almost been a year since the symposium and getting to meet the crew, Roy, and Paul. What an absolute time. That memory will always be very close to me.
Thank you Roy & Co. for keeping the channel going and keeping Paul's legacy alive. I know I speak for everyone, certainly, when I say we all miss him dearly. You're doing a great job and its very much appreciated.
I got an s&w 357magnum, the 66-9 ! I will be plinking with it in 38 special and then 357. Miss Paul Harrell, thank you, Roy, and crew for continuing this channel.
Paul surely is missed. I’m about the same age as he would be and from the person he personified in his videos a lot of young men could take notes from him. Thank you Roy for keeping your brothers memories alive for us. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. God Bless you.
I was going to put off watching this because I knew there would be footage of Paul, and frankly I’m still not over losing a friend who I never actually met. But I figured this is one of those rip off the band aid moments in my life so here I am. Glad I made that choice. Roy and crew, you have earned the half million subs you got since Paul left us, fair and square. Please keep up the good work. By the way, one of the changes you have made that I consider a positive is bringing in other shooters. Mind you I loved Paul’s mostly “one man show” format because he’s so easy to watch and listen to, but actually seeing people with different background, training, builds etc kind of brings us into the action a bit more. Does that make sense?
Thanks so much for doing this Roy. You guys are doing a great job. The Happy birthday America part with Paul appreciating the prayers got me. So we're still sending our prayers to you and your family. God Bless you guys! 🇺🇸🙏
I feel fortunate to have been able to watch this channel for some time. I've always learned something from each episode. Roy, you and Paul are excellent instructors, that make everything understandable. For me sometimes it has to be broken down Barney style 😆😅🤣😂
Time and life moves on, I feel that I am a better person for having known Paul through his videos and I appreciate the fact that you are carrying on his legacy. RIP Paul and thank you Ron...
That brought some smiles. Thank you very much, Roy and crew, and Happy New Year. I think I'll take out the Winchester 94 I got for Christmas 51 years ago!🎅
"If you're watching this... I'm dead."... Paul the understatement master.... Watching that still hurts my heart. 😥

RIP Paul. He's plinking in heaven now.
Well, the Bible didn't say anything about guns. But, swords and knives would be turned into pruning hooks and shears.
I'd like to think Paul is camping out, eating good, and hiking in great weather, not preparing for a bad day in heaven.
But it's Paul. He Might be.

@jeffwilson9738 Hey Jeff, warm greetings to you! How are you doing ? Let me know if you got this.
RIP Paul ... I wish I could have met you in the flesh. Carry on Roy, you're doing a good job!
Indeed.
I met him once. It was exactly like stepping into one of his videos. He was the same person.

Thanks for the story.
Pop Tarts were good in the 80s. Like with everything else, the ingredients have now been replaced with chemicals.
@Truth_Teller_101 I'm certain that frosted chocolate changed a year or two ago. They used to be my favorite and now I can't even stand them.
Still hard for me to accept that he’s actually gone. Thanks for all the years of teaching, guidance and life lessons you provided Mr Harrell and asking nothing in return. You’re one in a million. RIP

it was one of the most profound things ive seen on youtube. very moving in many ways. very Paul.
Thank you, Roy, for continuing Paul's legacy and adding your own touch to it. Thank you to the "Crew" for making these videos. Rest in Peace, Paul, our teacher and sage.
