What I liked about her play style is it is exactly used to be like that in the old monster Hunter. Hit and run, large powerful attacks. No fancy tackling or combos.

After watching a shitload of world rajang speedruns, the way they moved his openings to different attacks actually feels pretty appropriate for world, and now we have new strats for dealing with him that never existed before while still feeling like rajang. I guess rajang really did transition pretty well into the new world.
Except there's the fact that if he triggered any of these knockdowns slightly closer to a wall he would have had to start the lockdown combo over again. I like Rajang in world, but the "punishing you for doing a lot of damage close to a wall" thing is kinda fuckin dumb imo

I missed the feeling of just me and the monster it felt more engaged in this game I feel like I'm battling the environment and the monster just happens to be there. It's not a very good explanation but after years of playing MH on handheld it's a different feeling. In MHW hunts feel tideous unlike in MH4 or MHGU the hunts feel like actual boss fights. Idk. I feel I'll give it another shot but idk I always seem to come back to my switch and play MHGU
