Just catching up on Flosstube, and glad to see your video in my notifications. Glad you are feeling better and on the mend and that your Dad is okay. I cringe, however, when people say they got the flu vaccine so their case was mild. The flu vaccine does not prevent, nor make the cases milder, but it does put you at risk for many other respiratory illnesses, including COVID, a slew of other chronic diseases and Alzheimer's. Also, the H1N1 variant isn't covered in the seasonal poison, so it wouldn't have mattered. People just aren't educated in the dangers, are brainwashed by the media thinking they need one and that they are safe, and believe it is helping them when sorely it is not. But on a positive note, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL finishes. I love your style and the pieces you choose to stitch put a smile on my face. I'm yet to stitch on fancy fabrics so I'm so thankful when I get to see yours and I can get an idea of what they look like. The ones I've purchased didn't turn out to be the right color for the designated project once they arrived. Yay for stash acquisition.....hehehe, "Buy my feelings!" I'm glad you are better and are getting your stitching done! I loved your opinions ("rants") on saving fabric scraps and patterns that call for specialty threads for very few stitches. Sometimes it feel like I'm the only one that wants to be a little frugal! Beautiful stitching, as always!

I love how pieces look on dark fabric, but I have one WIP on black Belfast and something about how the light hits it makes it so I can only stitch it in sun light without swearing at it. That Salem Hill looks sooo good on that dark fabric, though! It would definitely be worth the challenge.

I have several of the same charts and now I am re-inspired 😊 Did you know that you can purchase “cones” of some DMC colors from JoAnn’s? I purchased a cone each of white, 310 and ecru and they have really come in handy already. I look forward to seeing you soon. ♥️
