- A brief review of the Central Pneumatic (Harbor Freight) continuous feed pneumatic grease gun. A decent tool for the price, with a couple of small problems.
Glad you mentioned the how you bleed it. Ive had this sitting new in the box as a backup for years. Finally pulled it out. 47 minutes later i got it bleed. Thanks to your video. Ridiculous. Plus..the best thing about having a new grease gun is theres no grease all over it! Now there is cause i had to keep taking the tube on and off. Must be part of why they dont have these anymore.
I'm glad you mentioned it won't prime, I have spent the past 1/2 hour trying to get mine to work and I finally gave up...my old lever operated grease gun is so much easier to load and get going after running out of grease that this pneumatic grease gun is pointless.
Scott's comment is right. The fitting is adjustable. I learned this from another youtube video about the same grease gun. You just turn it with your fingers to tighten it if you want it to stay on the zerk tight, or loosen it to be easy to pull off. If you leave it at full tightness and pry it off with a screwdriver, I imagine you are going to put a lot more wear and tear on it.
I've never seen this item before. I didn't know HFT carried this grease gun at all.
Thanks for the video.
I’ve had it for three years could never get it to work. Will try the prime but not sure if I’m ever going to love it.
the end.is adjustable turn it
Perhaps you don't know that the fitting on the end of the hose can be loosened and/or tightened as needed.
Perhaps.
The fitting is adjustable
Preciate the info, great help
“Preciate”……..??!!… Yeah man, school can go to hell amirite?
quickest way to prime is to take hose off end and pump grease out and put hose back on and leave the hose lose. but do yourself a favor if u r not mechanically inclined done buy this pos loses prime to much... u pay for what u get
Halo Halo I’ll have to try this.. just bought one and it was pumping and then just quit. I done understand how this plunger works and the little lock beside it. Do I push the plunger all the way in or what?
Actually its really easy to prime i found a simple effective way to prime it. I will post a video on priming it as soon as i get a chance.
